Yate Loon D12SL-12 120MM RED/BLACK Fan Xxxxrpm Xxcfm Xxdb 3/4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM Sleeved Retail
Cons:- Most of these I've purchased has a slight rattling noise when you listen closely.- Noticeably noisier with its rated 1350 RPM and rated 28 decibel.- Mix color of the black frame with red fan.- Sleeve bearing - Not shrink wrapped at the end of the mesh sleeves.
Pros:- Boxing week Sale price.- Comes with 4 fan screws.- Comes with a 3-pin to Molex adapter.- Comes with mesh sleeving Comment:
I usually plug in a fan and to see if its D.O.A. or rattles more than it should. I may have sensitive hearing or maybe unlucky but I purchased a few of these from last years inception to today and the majority have a slight rattle/hum to it. You can never have enough fans when you need them. If you're looking for cheap fans on sale these maybe for you. If you're looking for quiet fans with good static pressure these may or may not be for you. |

Cons:Don't push much airNot opened corner
Pros:CheapSilent Comment:
Only reason I got these was because they were on sale. These fans suck pretty badly. I can't even feel any air when I put my hand over them. Yes they are silent, but they aren't really effective. I was expecting something better from hearing how great Yate Loons are. |

Cons:- Sleeve bearing
Pros:- Price- Quiet- Price/performance- 3 pin to molex connector- Black sleeving Comment:
I bought three of these as an exhaust for an 800D. I was dismayed to find that sleeve bearings supposedly wear out quicker when placed horizontally, but that was my own fault.I have been impressed with their performance so far, especially for the price ($4 on sale per fan). They also come with a 3 pin to molex connector, which is convenient if you have lots of fans and not enough slots on your motherboard for your fans. They are also sleeved which is a nice addition. |

Cons:none
Pros:quiet, inexpensive Comment:
These are certainly good fans. They are quiet comparitavely and move decent amounts of air. So many cheap fans don't move much air and also are fairly noisy, but not these. Temps definately came down using a 120mm fan. |

Yate Loon D12SL-12 120MM RED/BLACK Fan Xxxxrpm Xxcfm Xxdb 3/4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM Sleeved Retail
Cons:- Louder than expected. Louder than my Antec tri-cool case fans in an Antec Three Hundred running at max speeds which are (32dB for 120mm and 34dB for 140mm). This was rated to be quieter but they obviously used some other way to measure the sound as it has a noticeable "hum"- Case temp remained unchanged probably since the Antec Three Hundred had great air flow anyways
Pros:At 3.99 it's a decent fan. Installed as an intake fan blowing at HDD - dropped 2 degrees. Comment:
Decent product for such a cheap price, but "hums" noticeably. Good compared to most fans, but loses to Antec's Tri-cool fans which are quieter and move more air. Great additional cheap fan but prob bad choice to replace existing Antec Three Hundred case fans. |

Cons:Quiet fan but with some flaws.
Pros:The red looks really good.Price is very nice if you catch it on a sale. Comment:
Although the fan is quiet itself, it created a humming noise which I found it very annoying and had to dump this fan after 1 day of use.If you don't mind the humming noise, is a great cheap little fan to get! |

Cons:Full depth screwholes can make mounting a challenge
Pros:Nexus fan performance at a bargain price3-pins means automatic motherboard controllable speeds Comment:
I used this to replace the standard Antec TriCool manual three-speed 120mm in my Antec NSK3480 case. I've heard that Yate Loons were essentually OEM Nexus fans with a higher RPM. After installing one I don't doubt it. Due to the crampness of my uATX case and a Radeon 4850, 50+ CFM is required to keep things cool without the CPU fan revving. This fan pushes more air than the Antec on Medium and yet makes slightly less noise than it on Low. |

Pros:- Low price- Low noise- Good performance- Good design- Good quality Comment:
Just installed one in my Antec 300 gaming case. I just is has an intake fan in order to cool my hard drives. You can't find better for that price. |
I have 3 of these mounted in my CM690; one is on the bottom and 2 on the top. They move a LOT of air once you remove the honeycomb grills on the top of the case. I haven't had any problems with them, other than the sleeving moving around very easily which isn't really a huge issue at all. Worth it for the amount of air they move.
