The Yate Loon D12SL-12 are a remarkably nice looking and well constructed fan. The fan itself comes with a standard 3-pin connector.

Cons:Feels cheap.

Pros:Quiet, sleeved, good air flow.
Comment:
These fans feels cheap but provide solid performance, for the price $5 you can't complain. I can hear more hissing sound when comparing with noctua p12, but they are still very quiet.

Yate Loon D12SL-12 120MM RED/BLACK Fan Xxxxrpm Xxcfm Xxdb 3/4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM Sleeved Retail
Cons:- Developed a buzzing noise.

Pros:- Cheap when on sale.- Good performance.
Comment:
I bought one of these to install horizontally in a mini-ITX case and plugged into a fan controller. At first it performed quite well, but soon thereafter it developed a somewhat annoying buzzing that persisted regardless of orientation change or lowering of the fan speed. I probably just got a defective unit but I personally have better experiences with Scythe's 120mm fans.

Cons:non for the money.

Pros:Fairly quiet.Pretty good CFM, but could be better.Cheap.
Comment:
For the money there isn't a better fan out there, that's not to say that there aren't better fans out there, most certainly there are. If you can catch these on sale 5 for $25 get them, they are well worth it.

Cons:Tiny clicky noise

Pros:Price on saleColorYate Loon
Comment:
Great fan, easy to use with a fan controller, very silent, except at max speed there's a little clicky noise since the fan doesn't spin exactly straight but then again a yate loon for 5$ on sale can't complain!!!

I price matched it for 4$. I like it since it' really quiet, other fans in my case are really louder, I may replace my other fans with this one. The screws doesn't fit well with the holes.

Yate Loon D12SL-12 120MM RED/BLACK Fan Xxxxrpm Xxcfm Xxdb 3/4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM Sleeved Retail
Cons:-Could have used a more appropriate thinner sleeve-Not a smooth noise

Pros:-Good value-Very attractive color scheme-Yate Loon quality-Sleeved
Comment:
I haven't tried a Yate Loon fan before this one, but I sure have experience with a ton of others. I decided I'd try one out considering all the rave reviews they usually get, and had some pretty high expectations, however I was not completely impressed by the nature of the noise it produces at all RPMs. Might have something to do with it not spinning perfectly on it's axle. Of course it's what to be expected from your typical fan. It's a great fan for the money, but I think I'd take a Noctua or a S-FLEX any day over it.

I think these fans are one of the best bang for your buck. They are surprisingly quiet even with 4 of them all running at once. I would have to recommend these fans to anyone working on a tight budget.

Had one of my antec tri-cools die on me after a very short service time. i am/was less than impressed. I ordered this as a replacement and so far its quieter, pushes roughly the same amount of air, and I get a good name backing it!

I'm a Yate Loon fan (pun) and I picked up 4 of these new fans NCIX got in to use in push/pull on my 2x120 BIX rad. They work great and my love for Yate Loon remains strong. For Price Performance Silence Durability the Yate Loons are a tough act to beat.

Cons:No speed controlThe fan part is red and not black, although the red is nice too =(

Pros:Runs quiteCan use Molex or the tiny'er fan only connector, sorry I don't know what its called. No lights or other annoying "features"
Comment:
Bought this in the five fan deal since I already had one broken fan in my case and I really wanted to replace it. The fan did not connect to my motherboard, the BIOs complained about a "inoperable fan" despite the fact that the fan was running at the time. You see the mobo is still the one from the HP box I bought two years ago, long live AMD. Anyway I put the old fan back and connected the Yate Loons over molex and all works and sounds fine now.
