Price tag, Newegg and UPS fast shipping.Really simple to place together, almost everything functions virtually perfectly except, read the cons section. This is the fourth 1 that I have ordered. The first two had boot-up difficulties when any brand of card reader is installed to any one particular of the 3 USB headers. It causes the boot-up to hang for about five-8 minutes. On the third one all three USB headers worked correctly, and I was capable to make the system. (It wasn't on SALE) This is the fourth 1 and because it was on sale here at Newegg I thought I give it a second likelihood. This 1 is providing me the exact same issue as the initial two MB w/the USB not functioning correctly when I connect any brand of card reader. All the setting are correctly set on the BIOS.A single of the response that I got from Zotac was that they believe the BIOS were not set correctly. I believe what is happening is that Zotac produced a poor batch of this specific MB and they dump it at a discounted value. (Always a rebate involved) This is the second time that I have bought this unique MB on sale and the USB headers won't function properly. Hangs the boot method. The Third 1 that I got worked appropriately, and that is simply because it wasn't on sale. When I got the third 1, it was selling at its standard value. Consider about that!!!

Smaller, low-priced AM2 board. In spite of what the manual and net internet site say, this item does NOT assistance SATA AHCI. All SATA ports seem to be running in IDE mode, which means 133Mbps tops for transfer speeds, and no help for hot-swap or NCQ. I confirmed this with a help ticket from Zotac. The guy who addressed my ticket didn't apologize for the confusion or promise a BIOS revision to enable the AHCI function, just flat-out stated tough luck, we advertised the function but it isn't there. Don't bother connecting your fancy SSD to this motherboard and you won't be also disappointed.

Great for a media Computer. It runs both the LE1300 and the AthlonIi X2 i put in it. the onboard plays 1080P bluray with no difficulty, just dont do something else although your playing, slap in a 1x PCIE card and you are gold. Lack of selections in bios for OC and mem timings, but for ITX at this price what do you count on, it does precisely what it is made for and does a fine job. I hate to have to say this but some gamer may consider it is cool to run an ITX machine and do it cheaply, DO NOT get this board for gaming, get a single of the 贬 boards with PCIEx16 or be a genuine gamer and get a complete ATX mobo and develop it appropriate.

Zotac forum would respond to my posts in their forum about every single other week or so for about a month DOA I narrowed my selections of mini itx down to an Asus and this Zotac. Should have listened to my gut feeling. I just threw the Zotac board in the trash after trying to get it to perform for more than a month.

Fired ideal up, no troubles, excellent for what I bought it for. Produced a small laptop or computer for my grandson to play pre kindergartener games, operating XP pro. sempron 140 cpu. 2g ddr2. GF6100 video is a small weak but does a wonderful job for what I wanted. My second ITX create and it is a lot of fun to create. Both had been ZOTAC boards, I'm quite impressed by them

It's low cost and tiny I went by way of two of these boards attempting to get rid of annoying line noise/ground loop noise to no avail. I could hear the cpu whining by the rear audio output on this board, anytime I moved my mouse I heard buzzing/humming. The speakers had been fine ahead of hand and fine with my new mobo (not Zotac!). I attempted to isolate the line, switch outlets for laptop or computer and external speakers/amp. I went crazy with this board. Zotac help was tiny help... I didn't want to invest alot of money as this construct was for an office computer system only. Considering that the next closet mini itx mobo is a lot more than double I switched to mATX. The new board Asrock 785gMH quickly relieved the annoying ground loop noise. My cpu is running about 5C's cooler also (don't know if Zotac board was reading incorrect). It did seem odd that my Phenom x4 was operating at 39C's regularly and my Athlon 240 Regor was running in the high 40C's under light loads.. CPU runs significantly quicker now on my new mobo. I seriously wanted to like this board but noise was an problem. Ended up RMA my Lian LI Q07 case which I like as nicely due to double the cost of mini itx board. Anyhow if you have to go mini itx go with a greater board bring about this ฽ mobo is not worth the aggravation. Manufacturer Response:For issues with your board please contact our Technical Assistance. Nevertheless, if the situation can\'t be resolve, you can opt for to RMA the board straight to ZOTAC and we will be able to replace it for you via our Extended Warranty*. *Please verify our web page for facts regarding warranty policy.External Link(s): ZOTAC USA Help| ZOTAC USA RMA Request| ZOTAC USA Warranty Data|

Affordable, decent performance and expandability. VGA only, no Pcix16 slot...would have to go with a PCIx1 discrete solution to get HDMI or DVI. General this is a great value for basic computing. Don't get it with the expectation it will preserve up with the Jonses. The memory card reader concern the reviewer ahead of me pointed out seems to be universal or at least batch related.

Low-cost. Got a good combo deal.Every thing operates wonderful except, read beneath. There are 3 USB connectors on the MB, when a card reader is attached, it doesn't matter what brand, it hangs the boot process. When you disconnect the card reader it boot-up instantly. I will rma this and hope that the subsequent one particular will work fine.

I got this and a mini-itx situation on an low-cost combo deal. Should have read the critiques and the Zotac forum. These boards arrive DOA. They just won't post. I tried to function with Zotac customer service on their forum. They take forever to respond to every post. It took eight days on one particular of their responses. Not worth the hassle and delay that Zotac makes you go by way of to get a RMA. I ended up throwing it in the trash can. Don't do it!devote just a small much more and go with a larger brand like Gigabyte. Don't say I didn't warn you when you throw your pc case across the floor in frustration.

Affordable. Got an exceptional combo deal from who else, Newegg. No HDMI, DVI. Wished it worked the initially time like most of my other builds, but not this 1.See beneath. Regrettably, I had to RMA this MB, the USB header ş & 2, when a card reader is plugged-in ( Rosewill and other card readers ), it hangs the boot-up approach, it take more than five-8 min to boot-up. When NO card reader is plugged-in it boots-ups virtually instantly.I hope that this is an isolated difficulty w/this MB only. I will uncover out when I get the replacement. My set-up Apex MI-008 situation w뢒 watt PS, AMD Athlon II X2 250 CPU, 4 GB ADATA PC6400, Rosewill card reader. All bought from Newegg.

Incredibly tiny. Fantastic assistance for CPU's. USB wireless network adapter results in hang in the course of boot. Eliminate USB wireless adapter and reboots OK. Other feedback suggests this desires a fix. Possibly a BIOS update is required. Very first time I have purchased a Zotac board. Am awaiting my rebate verify, before I'll commit to one more acquire. But so far, I'm impressed sufficient to give it an additional attempt.

Assembled easily, worked at bootup, award bios is relatively easy to setup. Excellent for the typical user. If you are a gamer appear elsewhere due to limited video. I have mine paired with a Sempron two.7ghz. This board would have rated greater from me if they had elected a PCI Express 2 video slot. Selections to upgrade the video are really limited with the PCIE 1 slot given. For a combo deal, newegg need to have paired this with a situation not a cpu. Choosing a cpu would be less difficult. Due to the fact this is an ITX board, a situation offering would have been sweet.

It's low profile, but has some nice functions. 4 sata ports and a decent TDP allowed ࿡ watts) indicates that it's ideal for property server or htpc duty. A pcie x1 slot will allow for some expansion. 1 pcie x1 slot. This board doesn't have hdmi, so it isn't feasible to get a tv tuner and hdmi output. It's a tiny gripe, but indicates server duty is where this board will shine. Even at a 65 watt TDP this board gets hot. A low profile heat sink barely keeps it below 50 degrees idling, and it reaches 66 degrees throughout heavy processing. Two makes use of for this board; remote dvr or house server. In either case, the pcie x1 slot will most likely be filled. You could do a video card and usb tuner to get a htpc, but there are other much better solutions in the micro atx form aspect.Get a bigger case, or be ready for the course of action to go molten on a hot day. This board is suggested, but there are a few caveats to look at before you obtain it. If the opportunity was presented once more I'd almost certainly have gone with a slightly larger micro atx board, rather than this mini itx form.

The board itself I have no issues with. I like the size, the attributes, (DVI would be nice, but for 50ish bucks, hey, whatever)The onboard video is weak but not also negative. No voltage controls, and my Athlon II seems to run genuinely hot in this develop. Even with the case off, and stock cooling it idles around 40c. Not certain if it's the board of I got a weakly binned processor. Attempted reseating a number of times, Tried 2 HS/Fans, Artic Silver 5, Bottom line, the processor just runs hot. Once again, not positive if the board doesn't throttle the processor well or not. Eh...still works so I Shouldn't complain I guess.

I thought that this motherboard would be an inexpensive remedy for a household member, but it has expense me much more in time and grief then it's worth. There are no pros to be stated. The technique halts regularly leaving just a scrambled image behind on the screen. Obviously, the chipset/bios combination wasn't appropriately believed out for the duration of the analysis and development process. Also, despite my meticulousness through the rebate course of action, my rebate was marked as invalid on their website, so don't anticipate to get a rebate from this corporation. Next time go with one more manufacturer. Foxconn, Biostar, ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte make fantastic solid motherboards. Stay away from Zotac!

Superior Price tag point. Looked to be produced with top quality parts. Worked for about one month. Now it just sits there at post with the huge Zotac logo. Doesn't go any further. Judging by all the other reviews it would not be worth attempting to get it fixed. I would most likely just get a different dud that an individual else returned. Since I owned this board for a tiny over a month, I can't return it to Newegg for replacement. Bummer.I tried 3 dfferent sets of RAM of numerous brands. Absolutely nothing would right this problem.
