Little board, fit nicely in the case. Mounted the Board, Powered it up, and got check the signal cable. Switched it off, checked the cables and the connections. Powered it up again, got the same factor. Took it to a comp repair shop. They checked the CPU, the RAM,and the board, and got the very same, check the signal cable. I got an RMA and sent the board back. Newegg speedy on accepting the board for a refund. Waiting for it to be credited to the account, to order yet another board. It will not be a ZOTAC!! Manufacturer Response:Sorry to hear your board did not function. ZOTAC does offer technical support on all our products. 1) Inexpensivetwo) Stable3) Uncomplicated to configure 1) Not significantly expansion due to mini ITX form.2) Only 65 Watt processor compatible.=> both cons are clearly listed in the description. I purchased as portion of a combo deal with a mini ITX case. The board accepted 2x1gb sticks of hynix DDR2-600 that I had left over from an upgrade, and it fired appropriate up. I installed XP on it, the drivers installed effortlessly, and I have had no troubles whatsoever. I also employed an dual core sempron chip that I had left over from another upgrade, and a nice Seagate sata II Hdd. Altogether, this machine is quickly, stable, and surfs the net like nobody's small business. With that in mind I sold it to a buddy to use for school. My buddy loves it. S3 sleep functions flawlessly as well. Remember, you should allow suspend to ram (S3 sleep) in the bios befor you install windows or it may not perform later. Furthermore, you should allow wake by usǘ device and/or wake by anykey in the bios or you could difficulty waking your machine later. Not the boards fault...Suggestion: most troubles can be resolved by typing them directly into google then following the assistance that can be found there.

It is smaller, ten럼񲿘 network port, performed great with AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor three.0GHz and G.SKILL 4GB ƒ x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM on Win7 x64. SLEEP or HIBERNATE does not work on Win7 using drivers and BIOS readily available Oct 2010.Win7 x64 Ultimate, will not return from a SLEEP or HIBERNATE state employing the power power button, mouse or keyboard. You ought to power cycle the box- not superior.Win7 x32 Ultimate is better, the board will return from a SLEEP or HIBERNATE state, but only by pressing the POWER button. As opposed to my 5 other builds not making use of Zotac, the ZOTAC will not 'wake' from the USB connected keyboard or mouse input. The BIOS does have the following settings....•ACPI Suspend Type: S1, S3, or S1 & S3 •Power On Function: Any KeyI had WIN7 WINDOWS 7 DEVICE MANAGER SETTINGSHID Compliant Mouse-Power Management= Enable this device to wake laptop or computerHID Keyboard Device= Allow this device to wake the laptop or computerBecause Win7x32 behaves unique than Win7x64 it tells me Zotac has a driver bug. Lack of this functionality signifies I can not use the board, so I am tossing it and shopping for another brand (I wasted 50 bucks) The Pc unit is under an enclosed cabinet and not accessible to the user. It receives 2-three hours of use per day, the rest of the time I need it to SLEEP or HIBERNATE, and return from SLEEP state with keyboard input.

Tiny Form Element, Solid Fundamental Functions PCI-E 1x (-1 egg) I applied this on a combo buy with Sempron 140 processor for under โ immediately after rebate. Major use was for small business apps and perform with Trendnet Camera system. This had to be the easiest create I have done in ten years i believe mainly due to the smaller form element of the components making them less chaotic. Windows Vista Aero score five.9 processor, 4.7 RAM, three.7 2D graphics, 3. 3D graphics, five.9 HDD. If this deal comes up again I am going to hoard a couple of them for inexpensive builds for pals and loved ones needing simple computers.

Not DOA. Boots. Technique runs. Affordable. There appears to be very a couple of DOA.Rebate issues.Printed manual have errors.**Manual claims the RAM slots can every support 4 GB, totaling 8 GB. Of course, the NewEgg and the Zotac sites each say maximum supported memory is four GB, not 8 GB. Tech support indicates that the manual will be not revised... I haven't checked my other RAM slot. I hope it's not defective as described in an additional assessment.I don't use a card reader.

Good clean layout, 3 usb headers, four sata onboard, pcix 1x and my favored NO legacy serial and parallel. not actually a con but I wish it had the digital audio out since it does have spdif header on boardI am also not seriously large on Nvidia and AMD on the exact same board but it is operating properly on MINT 10 64xThe 1 egg off was because I had to go into bios and set memory manually This board functions truly effectively with the am3 sempron that was in the package deal that I got, I had most of the other stuff I necessary to get my little media box operating using Linux Mint 10 x64 (Netflix wont function under Linux< thats their loss simply because I cancelled my account for this and other factors) Hulu and Boxee both run truly properly soon after some minor tweeks to the nvidia panel so issues would run full screen with out shutter.everything is in an Apex MI-008 case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154091with 2gig ddr2800 from vital, LG 22x dvdrw, 500gig WD green drive, multimedia card reader.

Low value, Smaller Platform, runs fantastic for a low end entry level general purpose board. NONE I only purchased this to construct a test server to run Vail with a BE2300 processor, 4 GB RAM, 3 challenging drive and a CD/DVD Drive installed in a CFI Enclosure with 2 drives in trays the 3rd drive or program drive is internal. Not particular what I will do with the unit when Vail is released.

Low cost Mini-ITX with PCIe X1 slot. No problems installing WHS. Nvidia ethernet nonetheless doesn't support Jumbo frames.Bios settings in the User's manual weak. don't require it although - operating defaults. Making use of as WHS with Athlon II X2 245, a eSATA PM card and external 4-bay eSATA boxes, 5TB and counting. Running 24ǝ for the last week. 60W serving video and copying files, ងW for the external box with four drives. This board with the Athlon is the same cost as those new Atom boards, so it was a no-brainer for me.

This board is pretty great for the price. It fit perfectly into an HP Slimline s3123. No issues so far, recognized all my peripherals from the HP with no a issue. The onboard video is ok (rates a 3. on Windows 7 Rating for gaming and efficiency). Ethernet is 1000 mb! which is wonderful due to the fact there is no expansion slots. Overall a good board for converting my old HP into a Media Center PC, although the video is only VGA and no HDMI connection. The board places the CPU and memory in a diverse spot than my old mb but not a large deal since it wasn't built to be specifically like the mb that was in the HP. No HDMI out for video. The only difficulty putting the board in the HP Slimline case was the original HP slimline's power supply connector. It utilized a mini itx power connect ྸpin mini) and this board uses a standard 20 pin itx and four pin cpu power connector. Not a large deal due to the fact I found a replacement here on Newegg for the energy provide.

Really smaller mini ITX board, has almost everything I require for fundamental movie, on-line Television. Installation was effortless. The lack of DVI/HDMI is not an concern, even the PCI x1 is not as I am not employing it as my work horse. Two on-board USB was intended to have socket on back IO, but removed in this watered down version. But it is OK. The USB controller. Somehow it doesn't permit my card reader to boot. Minor headache when attempt to Ghost disk.HWmonitor reported 12V rail to have 8V!The ATX 20pin power socket lies in the way of optical drive in my HP slimline case. This may not be a Con in a lot of other chasis. OK, my old HP slimline just died and I passed the recall. So I was searching for a mini-ITX board. This year the trend is that there are so several to select from. I bought this board for ษ AR, so I can't shed! The biggest chanllenge is to locate a suitable cable for the HP power supply to work on this ATX power, expecially the ATX12V.I located the cable for ฤ! but had cut open the 12V to make myself an ATX12V. Worse, the motherboard report the 12V rail to be only 8V! Right after traced with a multi-meter, it is 12V alright. So the other difficulty I am facing is the halt on begin triggered by the HP wireless card. Fortunately the USB1 port has a modest WiFi symbol on it. It is the ONLY location where the WiFi card won't stop the commence up! This is a greater remedy than the upper level ๳ Zotac MoBo.Lastly, still the USB concern, I can't use memory card to boot from USB card reader like on my other machines. The function around is to use USB DVD Drive because I can't install it in the case anyway.

-Form Factor-MB Attributes-CPU Support-PowerEven though the board states it only supports 65W TDP CPU's I am currently running a Phenom II x3 720 which is AM3 and is 95W (right out of the box). The program runs on an 80W RMS power supply with 100W max. Totally stable. Only PCI-E 1x expansion slot. On-board graphics are dated but still carry out really nicely for an integrated GPU. In a position to play L4D2 at lowest resolution with particulars set to medium at 25-30 FPS. Unlikely to be in a position to play MW2 or BC2 at playable frame rates, nevertheless, I did not attempt to overclock GPU (not certain if this is achievable and it most likely will not assist). Outstanding obtain for low power desktop in a small form factor.

ITX at a affordable price, with lots of built in capabilities keeps relatively cool two memory slots for dual channel low watt phenom support 1x pcie support lots of onboard usb headers pleased to see solid state capacitors and chokes on the cpu side this is commonly a high finish only portion bios is weak, this is the biggest reason i took off an egg, raid is worthless if your trying to use other sata devices such as a dvd writer and a single ssd for boot even though at the identical time trying to raid0 two other challenging drives, had to get a seperate pci-e sata controller just to use onboard raid *this added expense to my develop* thanks zotac (problem could be corrected with bios update but im not holding my breath) no ddr3 memory support cpu tdp limited to 65 watts ,*cost too considerably income to purchase low watt am3 processor when its not going to work up to its full possible* worthless graphics but knew this going in driver setup is sorta painful had several issues with network and video driver but resolved. (xp3 32bit & xp2 64bit) needless to say nvidia did a cr@p job on the chipset here Got a good combo cost with the silverstone mini itx case so it was a no brainer purchasing this, although im sorta disappointed in getting to purchase extras just to make my configuration function out, overall this is a wonderful deal, only 36watts peak (reading a cd, writing tough drives, 100% cpu) 28 watts idle ( used killawatt to check power use)

Allowing of socket am2,+,& 3; athlon x2, phenom. It has all the fundamentals as properly. The power supply port is not situated in a suitable area, therefore, it will not fit in it's proper location, so my pc is sorta scrambled. Luckily I located an extender on newegg that will allow me to put my power supply in location. I wish this had an x16 slot, Nvidia, if you hear me, make a inexpensive video card that's developed for an x1 slot.

very modest, really superior function set customer service...see other thoughts Got this to replace a failed ASUS motherboard in an HP Slimline PC. Fit perfectly, but would not boot. Turns out that the internal USB memory card reader was stalling it. I contacted their client service and was told that "Its a IRQ allocation configuration that we can not fix". Funny factor is though, right after disconnecting all the other internal USB connectors it worked. Then I plugged in every thing else once more and it still worked! So a lot for not becoming able to be fixed. I genuinely feel they just didn't want to be bothered with me.

None noted as but other than EZ install and smaller footprint. Decided to install yesterday. All went properly, got the box up and running and ran tests all afternoon. Decided currently to add a different stick of memory and that's when it all fell apart. Initial it wouldn't boot with the added stick, tried two additional with the exact same result. Replaced the working stick and all the other people worked as well as long as only 1 was installed. Moved the installed stick to the second slot and nothing. Now absolutely nothing no matter which way I go. It's now an RMA candidate.................. Bleah, I dislike attempting new products. Perhaps appear for a energy supply to simplify this procedure. CPU Fan runs at considerably higher RPM thus it's drastically louder, I'm trying differnet BIOS settings to balance temp and noise.

Okay, I had trouble installing Windows XP MCE on it, utilizing RAID. I put two X two TB Seagate HDD in this for a Raid 1, I kept getting the BSOD when installing XP. (YES, you will want to slipstream (use nLite) to put the raid drivers on a windows CD if you lack Windows7, etc) So then I installed a windows 7 on it, with out activating it then I installed Windows XP OVER it and that worked. I'm working with this as a file server. Also it has remote Wake up on Lan, so you can be on the world-wide-web, turn the personal computer on, and log into it. So sweet. It was unclear if this could do this or not. It can. Otherwise, wonderful little board, low-cost, full features, put in a 45Watt AMD in it, this factor just sips power I'm sure. Raid was tricky, BSOD until Win7 formatted the mirror as NTFS. Then it worked ideal.

ITX Form Factor, Low Cost, you can have your option of just about any AM2/AM2+ or pretty much all AM3's out there. No HDMI, No DVI, Very Old Chipset, -and if you want a PCI-Express x1 video card which from a performance stand point really should only price บ.00, be prepard to pay ๋.00 and up.With only 1000MHz capable on the FSB -aka HT Link, you wouldn't be acquiring the full speed of any AM3 processor and in theory be under clocked by 1000MHz. Chipset has been around for a really long time and has limited functions.-I knew all this just before I bought, just thought I'd mention it. Running this board with an AM3 Sempron 140, HT is 1000MHz of course due to the fact of MB limitation, 2GB of Kingston DDR2 800 CL5, and an APEX MI-008 ITX Case, Seagate 640GB 7200rpm HDD, Win7Ultimatex64

Check drivers.Bought two in daily deal, RMA'd one DOA. Hope this one works.Second 1 died 2 months later. The case this was paired with for the everyday deal could not fit the cpu under the power supply. I mounted the ps on the back of the case so that I could use a am2+ two.two 65W cpu with the stock AMD cooler. It did run Vista better than XP. Price. This board was Low cost. ฯ Soon after mail in rebate (which I haven"t got yet) tiny, low power consumption, cost-free freight, Zotac support was helpfull. The only real drawback to this board is the lack of a PCIex16 slot. This limits your selection of video cards. If you are paying full pop for this board you might want to chose somthing else. As others have stated I did have difficulties with the bios not accepting certian USB devices. For example I was making use of a Netgear wireless USB adapter that unless plugged into a certain port would trigger the board to not boot, it would get to the logo screen and freeze. Contacted Zotac and within 24hrs they responed with a new bios. I downloaded the utility and now we're golden, I can have the USB adapter in any port and it works. The new BIOS allso seems to load quicker as nicely. All in all it does the trick.
