A single of the ideal boards I have utilised in 20 years. Fantastic instruction manual, supplied drivers are total for Win XP (full drivers for win 7 obtainable at net internet site). Board style is exceptional as spacing of connectors and cables best for itx situations. I am operating a E8400 at three.6 Ghz with a P199 Dynatron fan in a Apex M105 case. Employing 2 Gig memory 500 Gig HD. I did have to add a 40X10 MM fan for the GPU to cool it to 40C just sat it between the Wireless module and heat sink. Extremely quiet Non at all These boards are considerably far more complete that the Intel boards I had been making use of. The APEX case is a perform of art

Fantastic little HTPC board. Pairs nicely with my E5200 and the stock intel heatsink in the Apex Mi-008 case. Throw on Win7 and you are done. Bluray playback is smooth. The heatsink will rock back and forth with the stock plastic clips. Replace them with a screw and nut to tighten down the heatsink and lower GPU temperature. Suggested Mobo... I have two.

good seeking mobo, compact, very tiny Form Element 6.7"x6.7": fitted nicely into my silverstone sugo mITX case, holds 8gb ddr2 800- great for a board of this size, the addition of PCIE2 slot gives expandability for when the integrate 9300 geforce GPU is no longer adequate.....but all of this is totally irrelevant as it's DOA. board was DOA, spent 2 hours testing with the above mentioned case and an e7500, no joy dead as dead. utilised my test rig to try and establish the problem, still no joy in spite of swapping out each component to be certain, really disappointing as a first time zotac customer (and probably the last). also the user manual was extremely poorly written with several grammatical and spelling errors- giving a extremely negative impression of the business and it's attention to detail. NB HS is pretty poorly constructed for saying how hot these small ITX's get, WiFi installation is a full PIA and when the WiFi board is in it tends to make it extremely hard to get to the jumpers to do a cmos reset....some of these issues I can appreciate are attributed ot he exclusive challenges of the ITX form factor. so this was brought to do a mITX develop for my mom's birthday...sadly with this improvement she will not be receiving her present until at least 10 days after her birthday...this tends to make me sad. zotac, I don't feel I'll be shopping for one more 1 of your solutions...but I hope to be proved wrong..

excellent top quality: all solid state capacitors; hardware acclerated mpeg4 decoding, eSATA, decent bios tho poorly documented. POSTed 1st attempt. So far quite stable under Ubuntu. Got it on unique for about 贄! Thanks New Egg! No SMBUS drivers for linux, that implies no north-bridge temp monitor, and a cosmetic error message through boot, which I wont take an egg off for. In all probability going to set up a little fan on the Northbridge cooler to ease the paranoia, but this thing only pushes pixels for an hour or two a day, and when I've checked temps in the BIOS there were about 40c. So far so great.Didn't set up the wireless card so can't comment there, got this model for the eSATA not the wifi.Had a little bit of difficulty booting of my USB stick to set up linux, should have written this critique sooner so I remembered what I did to repair it, prolly the AHCI settings... Paired this with a Celeron e3300, 4gb of critical DDR2 800mhz, a couple WD green drives, and a chenbro mini-ITX chassis/PSU. Running Ubuntu ten.04 24ǝ serving music to where-evervia mpd and video to my Tv via boxee. Plays 1080p more than HDMI no challenge. Haven't messed with either the digital coaxial out or audio over HDMI but, so can't comment there, however. All in all extremely happy.

No problems with Windows 7 64-bit. Works well with 1080p HD content material. Only consumes 33watts at idle and load. Working with it with a e3200 oc'ed to 2.8ghz. Has a PCI-Express slot. Incredibly stable; I haven't encountered any main problems with this board. Wifi has some occasional troubles connecting to the network. (but maybe from my router) I use this in a different bedroom for world-wide-web, torrents, word processing, and video. I really feel more "green" leaving this overnight to download stuff than with my quad gaming rig. Extremely suggested!!

Little, nice for HTPC. I have purchased two of the Zotac G-E motherboards, 1st one died a handful of months soon after set up with a puff of smoke. So I RMA'd it and whilst waiting much more than 30 days for it to be replaced order yet another. The 2nd a single is operating fine, but I nonetheless have not received my rebate for either motherboard. In addition I finally received my replacement and it is a D-E motherboard with only two sata ports and no usb wake-up from S3. Acquire this product with caution. I have named, emailed and left message relating to the rebates and incorrect (D-E) motherboard becoming sent and have gotten no response from Zotac. It is a good item when it works and if you do not need to make contact with Zotac.

As a motherboard, it does perform, and fits in a quite modest case for a HTPC. I use mine with Windows 7 Ultinate 64 and XBMC as a front end to my NAS based DVD collection. Video output on a 53" Plasma is spectacular. There are two: 1) Wireless - the included "wi-fi kit" is useless if you are expecting decent transfer rates. I had bougt this hoping to eliminate my Linksys Bridge (running dd-wrt), but identified that the G wi-fi kit was awful in keeping a excellent connection. I tried to resolve this working with their consumer forums, tried different drivers, and settings, but bottom line it is JUNK. Which is Quite disapointing as we spend a premium for that wi-fi kit option on this board. As a answer, I lastly unplugged the USB connection to it and plugged in a USB N wireless dongle. And that brings me to challenge Š) USB connectivity. This thing like to forget what is connected through USB. This precise board is also supposed to fix the power-on via USB concern that earlier versions of this board had, but it still does not appear to power up via USB. Not essential to you? fine... But if you are building a HTPC, powering up with a signal sent from your remote control is sort of significant The embedded graphics card is good. The function set of this board is genuinely some thing that I look forward to in future boards, but right now, this board does not deliver on all it's attributes.

I'm employing this for my living room HTPC build. Coupled it with a Pentium E5200, 2GB of RAM, and a Mediagate USB MCE Remote (also available from NewEgg). I have it booting off an SD card (no harddrive) for minimal energy consumption and noise.Thing is working like a champ playing high bitrate 1080p MKVs more than my network via it's onboard gigabit ethernet. Video thru the onboard HDMI looks extraordinary on my 130" projector screen. I also have full five.1 surround sound audio coming thru the onboard HDMI, so it's just 1 cable to my receiver. Even the remote power off/power on by way of the USB remote works. The wake-on-USB functionality of the board I got functions beautifully, so apparently I got the revision where this got fixed. Hopefully NewEgg is selling absolutely nothing but this fixed version. So, for an HTPC develop this mobo is Ideal. Get it. None that I can think of, therefore the five stars. The other guy that mentioned that the GPU heatsink is held in place by weak plastic clips is possibly correct, but I didn't hold the board by it so it didn't give me any concerns (good factor I read his assessment very first so I was aware!).

This board packs some punch and hen you get a good 1 it usually works properly. Forget about the wireless, i've built three ITX builds with these and ALL of the wireless cards had problems staying connected or finding a connection. intermittent USB problem seem to plague specific but not all these boards. i like the ZOTAC 610i also, but it lacks many features that this board has (HDMI for example). it could be a choice for you depending on what your develop is for.

Superb featureset for a MINI-ITX board. Even supports the high-finish 95w TDP processors; I was operating a Q9650 with out any problems. Slew of I/O choices, check the tech specs, it's rather impressive. Cooling. Full-quit. MINI-ITX boards are practically -Constantly- installed in tight spaces. Nevertheless, the nVidia MCP chipset would get up to the ㆗ Celsius range due to the passive heatsink. Following the board challenging powered itself off the 2nd time the system would no longer POST. This was with a moderate size ITX case with a (tightly fitting) Zalman CPU cooler keeping the Q9650 aroun the 40-50 Celsius range. There's no TPM chip on this board, if that's essential to you. I'm also getting nice with the 3 eggs, given that this is a newly released board and may have been a 'lemon' or something. Other than the board's death soon after two days it's not too poor. =)

Appears like nice function set, excellent deal at discount. I want to like it. Internal USB Wi-Fi is poor, front USB ports do not detect everything (use one more USB header) Also, per Zotac support, I RMAed the very first board due to non-operating USB ports (the two subsequent to the PS2 keyboard connector). Following 10 days & shipping costs, sadly, the replacement board exhibits the precise very same defects. Two poor samples with the precise exact same difficulty? Really?

Third board very working nicely so far - USB headers all work and USB connectivity is stable. WiFi is successful and stable even with out any external antennae. Provides very good Aero. Previous two boards had non-working rear USB ports and poor, intermittent USB - which also affects WiFi module. QA or board design problem with Zotac? Shipping back 2 poor boards in a row costly and waste of time, subtract 3 eggs. Third board was repackaged - not a new item, backplate and SATA connectors were obvious inexpensive replacements. On the other hand, the board passed initial tests and is working really well. Thanks, Egg. Not what I paid for, but at least it works for now. Add 1 egg because I'm a sport.

Purchased this board for a Automobile PC project. By no means took it out the box till the multi-zone aspect of my install needed a new board. I put my E8200 in, 4GB Ram, and 4 DisplayLink USB to VGA adapters. The MoBo prior to this one (Zotac 610i) couldnt deal with all the graphic and processor loads. This board though does all of it with plenty of room to spare. The USB ports are able to energy all four display and 5 extra USB soundcards. On my old board every little thing had to be on externally powered USB hubs. I also have to say its native onboard graphics card is awesome! In total I am utilizing 6 screens and six soundcards with not even the slightest of slow down. Subsequent week I strategy on buying a second one for the other half of my Vehicle PC install. That one will have a Quad core and up to 31 USB devices. I hope it works as effectively as with the other install. Only 1, the DVI port is a DVI-D port. In order to use it on my Car PC setup, which utilizes analog screens, I had to buy a DVI-D to VGA converter. The certain one I purchased is the HDFury, which runs ๆ.00. Still worth it though! If your using this on a newer digital LCD/LED Tv then you dont have to worry becasue those are digital. For a little little board, this thing gets the gob done. In a Vehicle PC setup, space is really very vital. I was happy to uncover this board which is equal if not better then most regular sized Micro-ATX boards.

Bought this broad for some spare parts that have been lying around, put together in a nice itx case. It has been running stable and snappy so far. A great broad for HTPC or small form factor build. You need to have sufficient air flow to cool the iGPU otherwise it is running a bit hot.

Board looks very nice, crucial when mounted in an open air case.HDMI video and sound work excellent. It plugged correct into my Television and picked up the 1080 settings instantly.Running it with a 2.four ghz Core two Duo and 4 gb DDR2 Corsair Xtreme.

Yeah, its on the high priced side but with a ton of capabilities, I can't complain. Works truly properly with my APEX MI-008 mini-ITX case with overclocked Celeron E3300 (o/c 3.75ghz). No heat problems with 120mm fan on the side vent. Was able to get all the components recognized in Ubuntu 9.10 ࿠bit) running in dual-screen mode except the Wifi module. Can't get the Wifi module to work in Ubuntu 9.10࿠bit). APEX MI-008, ZOTAC GF9300-G-E, CORSAIR XMS2 ƒ x 2GB) DDR2 800, HITACHI Deskstar E7K1000, Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E 120mm Case Fan.

HDMI, 9300, PCI-E, more affordable socket 775, DDR2 - overall potent little board. Wireless does not function. It's horrible. Connects and disconnects repeatedly. I have two WRT54GL running Tomato and WDS. I know what I'm performing...Might as nicely save your money and get a distinct wireless card. OK - but wireless sucks.

I purchased this MB for an ITX build with a Lian Li Q11. I had a E5200 laying around so instead of doing a complete upgrade to the newer 1156 itx build, I only paid roughly $70 after MIR for this MB. Overall I haven't had any problems so far, perfectly stable OC on my E5200 at 3.5ghz 24/7. Extremely happy with my purchase. This is the second one I have purchased.

It is my blue ray, DVD player/recorder, PVR, internet TV, and it does a bit of browsing on a 52" Samsung.Everything installed without any problem at all. I used all the up to date drivers from the website and didn't even look at the disc.
