Pros: 1. Unlocked multiplier.2. Compute performance.3. GCN 2.0 (includes hw to improve multi gpu performance).Integrated features (pcie3, trueaudio, hUMA, hQ, ddr3-2400, mantle). |
When paired with a A88XM-PLUS/CSM, unboxing the A10-7700K was like letting a feral cat out of a sack.Other parts: ddr3-1600, hybrid hdd, pcp&c powerThe A88XM-PLUS/CSM features all of the overclocking settings you could need. It also has the requisite cooler for the (more than capable) 4+2 phase VRM. tl;dr; I pressed the 'OC Tune' button in the bios, rebooted, and here's the result. Results were obtained using the retail heatsink and TIM.A10-7700K a 4.1 GHz, iGPU a 1 GHzIdle temp at HS: 37CAmbient: 25CAnd so began the benchmarking.
