Quite well made cooler which runs very quiet and maintains temperatures significantly decrease than the reference design and style. I received a card which could not total a FurMark run (and it stuttered in the process) or could it run a game for additional than ten minutes without crashing the application. The incorrect base model Gigabyte GTX 570 which I received prior to returning it to Newegg operated completely. My PSU additional than met its needs.

QuietCool Had to downclock to keep it stable Unstable at factory overclock of 780 on the core. Had to downclock to 720 to maintain the card stable. It's not a heat concern, as the card hovers suitable around 51c under load. Tried several whql and beta drivers...It's nevertheless a good jump from my 8800gt sli, but doesnt deliver as advertised. Running 750w coolermaster genuine power pro PSU, so energy need to not be the problem.

Quite impressive piece of hardware. Just handling the mammoth card it feels like a solid expensive piece of gear. Ultra Durable VGA and the Windforce Cooling system on it are no joke. Idles in high 20s, 40-50s immediately after hours of gaming. Intense benchmarking can push it into 60s, however it nonetheless stays super quiet. Haven't bothered OC'ing due to the fact it just annihilates every single game at max settings @ 1080p. So anticipate to use this for the long haul, and when it at some point does get tested, from what I have read, we can OC it to close to 580 levels. The day I ordered this was 1 day late on the totally free Mafia two + Just Bring about two coupons, are you kidding me? Gigabyte aid me out, pull some strings with the folks at newegg for meh! It's actually quiet it's scary. It's like one particular of these cars that you can turn on and wonder if the engine is even on cuz it's so quiet.

quieter and cooler than reference cooled GTX 570's, Gigabyte quality, cost, maxes my games, factory OC Present day graphics cards are as major as some of the antique ISA cards I dealt with 12+ years ago. Considering that a single GTX 570 is powerful sufficient to max just about each and every game on the marketplace at 1920x1080, I'm hoping that Nvidia and AMD will concentrate on shrinking the footprint and lowering the power specifications now. This card is overkill for most people. I got it due to the fact I play games on my Pc, and I run Folding@Home though I'm away. This card is good for about 16k-17k PPD at stock settings, and it has the possible for significant overclocking.

-Runs quite cool-Windoforce cooler is almost silent-Wonderful overall performance -Gigabyte speed bins these very tightly Overclocking from the cards i got were fairly restricted. 1 card would not run at the advertised clock devoid of crashing/artifacts on some games. Fortunately newegg has wonderful buyer service, and gave me a new one. The second card ran perfectly, but there was NO overhead room to overclock w/o making artifacts.I'm sort of knit-picking, but i wasnt 100% satisfied with the item so i took an egg off.

UDV (Ultra Durable VGA) is the number one cause to purchase this card. General good card with amazing efficiency. I have turn out to be a big Gigabyte fan. I have bought various of their motherboards and now this video card. Gigabyte construct quality is leaps and bounds above the competition. None Acquire Gigabyte products you will not be disappointed. I bought a PNY card 1st because it was more affordable but it lasted about 30 minutes in my machine prior to it blew up. Other stock card GTX 570s have the exact same problem...obtain Gigabyte UDV cards.

Simple setup, just plug it in, install drivers and your very good to go. Was in a position to set Starcraft two and Planet of warcraft to max settings with no hicups. This card runs very cool at maximum settings but I did use this in an Antec Nine Hundred Two case which has exceptional cooling and circulation. None. On an Antec Nine Hundred Two case, you do will need to get rid of the internal housing for the optional third front fan (its the empty bracket attached to the middle of the hard drive cage at the front). Strategy to get a second one for SLI when rates drop.Motherboard: GIGABYTE|GA-P67A-UD7-B3 P67CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge three.4GHz (OC four. Handles just about every game I throw at with no issues, stays cool even below heavy load. Heat doesn't exhaust outside of case, much better have a properly ventilated case.

Good OC by factory, The fans keep the card cool. Appears like it had some problem drawing graphics on my screen. Its hard to say if it was the card. I sent it back for a refund I purchased the EVGA card. been making use of them for years without having any concerns so i decided to go back rather of acquiring a replacement from Gigabyte.

Runs Cool/Quiet. Plays game like a champ....... .....for 10 minutes at a time. Would not total 1 run of 3dMark Vantage, or Crysis Benchmarking Tool. Horribly Unstable at advertised clocks. Downloaded MSI Afterburner, Down-Clocked to Vanilla specs, and it took off and ran via every little thing. Pretty Disappointing for a NON-Reference card with an following-market cooler attached to it......and it expense ฤ much more. RMA'd via Newegg. We'll see what 1 replacement is like. If I get the very same outcome it's bye bye Gigabyte, hello MSI, Asus, or Evga. Took a opportunity leaving Evga for a different brand, and it's not turning out so hot. Kicking myself tonight.Don't get me wrong, this is a five-star card if it worked as advertised, and I will update my evaluation if the subsequent 1 works properly.

The cooler performs very properly. In a Silverstone FT02 case, playing current games or folding it says in the mid to low 60’s, typically it hangs about 61c. And the fans are comparatively quite I don’t hear them over the stock case even under load (under load they spin up to 46% in my method).Factory overclock is icing on the cake. none By comparison I also ran a reference design 6970 and under load it was hitting 81-83c. And the fan @ 34% was noticible. So 20c difference and much quieter!

This card is just plain solid. Love GIGABYTE's construction and blue PCB. Matches my EX58-UD3R Mobo beautifully. The fans are quiet. I cannot hear them at all whilst gaming. I no longer have to worry about tweaking in-game graphics settings. Almost everything set to max all the time. Not a con, but just make sure you have room in your case. It is long. Can't wait to put this card by means of its paces when all these awesome games come out this year. Upgraded from a GTX260. I game on 1920x1200 single screen and it need to be a long time ahead of I definitely will need to upgrade once again.

Ok so I bought two unique Gtx 470s and both had problems with irq errors due to the fact I was utilizing the sound by way of the cards I had to mainly because the Pc is hooked up to a 1080p 32inch led tv naturally I didn't wanna shed my sound following RMAing both my prior cards nonetheless no sound without irq errors Until lastly I gave up and purchased this factor now not only am I obtaining far better efficiency but this thing runs super quiet and super coolI'm telling you this factor is a monster and it's worth the upgrade even if your going from a 470 to this There are no cons... This factor is a monster... I feel some ppl are upset because they were expecting an overclockers dream, keep in mind this is a few dollars a lot more than the reference so for that cash it is a very incredibly nice get Probably about 30% efficiency enhance more than a 470... The way this factor is created with the 3x windforce it's well worth the extra few dollars more than the reference model... It makes it possible for for much greater air flow Yet another reason why I chose this over the reference is mainly because of the greater top quality metals and VGA board utilized on this compared to the reference, I've had too many poor experiences with cards overheating I'd rather dish out the couple of extra dollars

Let me fist say, this is my first ever Nvidia card. I have been an ATI guy forever. Went from a 5850 to this and it's worth the upgrade. Noticeable bump in FPS games.Fans are dead silent compared to the 5850.Idles at 30c, considerably cooler than the 5850.Simply overclocks without having a lot jump in temp. I us MSI afterburner.I have this on a Asus crosshair IV with a AMD 965BE OC'ed to 4. Not a thing. No driver issues with this unlike ATI. One of the major reasons I wanted to attempt Nvidia.Came with 2 free of charge games and the Physx is awesome. No will need for a 2nd card to run it correct now.I will upgrade to a different Nvidia card down the road.
