Cons: too bad it can't be GDDR at this price

Pros: Good value
Comment:
This card should work well for low budget gaming. I tested Skyrim at medium settings and it ran smoothly. The GDDR5 version will perform better than this DDR3 version but you'll pay more for faster RAM. It's nice and quiet and doesn't need external power. I purchased this and a Sandy Bridge Celeron over an AMD APU and I think I made the right choice. The graphics on an A10 could be better but that's higher than the budget allows. Mail in rebates should be treated as bonus money if they arrive because of how long they take to process and the chance your claim will be denied.

Cons: None at this price point.

Pros: Inexpensive, quiet.
Comment:
I had an issue with artifacting with my first card, which I won't put as a con since this could have been one card in a thousand, but is worth mentioning. NCIX RMA process is painless however.I needed a quiet card with HDMI out for a bedroom computer, and this one fit the bill. One reputable hardware guide website by a guy name Tom even listed it as the best gaming video card under $65. No I wouldn't call it a gaming video card, but am sure it would rock WOW and even shows as being in the recommended range for Diablo III. I will never find out as this is a bedroom HTPC card. The card is extremely quiet, and the HDMI output works as it should. Windows Experience index is 6.8 on both Windows graphics and gaming graphics.**Update** Oct 5, 2012Well, the replacement card has been doing some artifacting as well. Inside of case is nice and cool, and I'm using a good quality 650W power supply. I've tried it in another system, and it took a couple days to show up, but is doing the same thing. Card is also running nice and cool, but I'm afraid that it is simply not a good card. I've installed EasyBoost and underclocked the card. If that works, then I'll be happy as it's mostly for a bedroom HTPC. If not, I'll toss it and purchase something different. I realise that this isn't an expensive card, but it hasn't been stressed, and expected more. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-05-12 05:23 PM
