Pros: fast clean and powerwise.

i bought this as an upgrade from the 5770 i was running and it was the best move i ever made. the 30 dollar differnce is definitely worth it for those who want performance with out having to worry about having to buy a big powersupply. my system with phenom 1090t 6 gb ram and this card scored 20000 on 3d futurebenchmark6.

Cons: It is quite long, so you probably want to put it in your case last. It is in the way of my CMOS reset jumper pins, which can be annoying.

Pros: Pretty good sound and temps.
Comment:
Price was pretty good. I haven't tried overclocking yet, but I hear good things. One thing to note is it has 1 DVI-D and 1 DVI-I connector. Most people probably have newer monitors so it isn't a problem anyways, but it is for me.

Cons: The two fans dont seem to add much cooling, howerver, the look rlly nice. The overclocking program that comes with the card allows for basic overclocking only. Howerver, u can easily match (and surpass) the performance of other GPU's that come factory overclocked.

Pros: Great midrange GPU. So far have run all my games on max setting without having any FPS under 60. My res is 1920-1080. The GPU overclock very easily with the programs that come with the card.
Comment:
Great mid range GPU. Instead of going for higher end cards, might as well get two of these and get the same performance for much less.

A great card for running games on highest and 1920x1080. Metro2033, Battlefield BC2 both run on highest setting although slowdowns in Metro during certain sequences (this might be due to my processor).A great buy

Cons: slightly (barley) less powerful then a 6870.

Pros: smaller then the 6870 and just a har under in performance.2 cooling fans and not all enclosed for those that worry about dust getting in.

Cons: - None so far

Pros: - quiet, low power consumption- great performance for the price- excellecent overclocking capabilities- cheap

I actually got the Diamond version of this card, but basically the same thing, besides this having a better dual-fan for cooling. I got it during the sale that was going on for 159.99 + tax (web deal only) but the sales guy gave me the deal anyways, so I was happy. Basically any version of the 6850 card you can't go wrong with the $200~ range. My old 8800GT died so i got this card for a quick replacement. I am using an older system with C2Duo 3.0 Ghz E6750, 4gig DDR2 ocz ram, Win Vista. I was able to overclock this card to 920/1120 from 775/1000 with minor voltage increase and and it runs game great even with my older system. I am currently playing WoW, COD: Black Ops, BF:BC2, SC2, L4D2, CS:S and it runs all my games well over 80fps (19x12 res, max settings, some AA and AF) so i am extremely please with this card considering my older system. Highly recommended for the average budget gamer that's not going for hardcore SLI/multi-display/benchmark-freak setups.

Great card for a great price! Can Overclock this from 775Mhz to 850Mhz GPU and 1Ghz to 1.2Ghz RAM with out of box software no problems ... curious if can go higher with other apps!?!Fans run decently quiet - can reduce speeds if wanted for quieter applications. - the auto seems to do a great job.Not much of a gamer (bought this for three monitor setup) ... but had to try Modern Warfare 2 on here .... WOW - full high res on 1080p all options on high - WOW - runs great!!

Cons: - stock fan speed at 70% (noisy at stock speed)

Pros: - great overclock- great cooling
Comment:
Great over all videocardIt's a bit noisy in stock setting, but once you use a program to overclock it, you can easely reduce fan speed to 30% and keep it cool. After it, you got a great and easely overclock video card that don't do to much noise and do not use to much power (it only needs 1 connector 6 pin to work!)

Pros: Quiet, powerful
Comment:
Compared to my ATI 4870, this card is a lot more powerful and definitely more quiet. For just about every game I can now play on max settings on 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Cons: Loud fan

Pros: First custom PCB to come out of the 6850 lineup from all companies
Comment:
The loud fan issue was just an initial bios thing. A quick update  on the video card's bios, downloaded directly from Gigabyte's website turned down the fan's speeds to about 25%. stock settings before update  was around 50%.At 100%, this thing is not even loud, and it provides VERY sufficient cooling. It does not run hot AT ALL. temps at 60 MAX.When it plays crysis, there's coil whine. that's about it.

Cons: Description incorrect, does not have mini displayport, but a standard displayport

Pros: Good card for price and functionality
Comment:
Bought this card to use with Apple Cinema Display 24". Works great, just install and works perfectly. Reason I chose this one over the others was because it was the cheapest after price match that had "mini" display port. But the description is wrong and has a standard displayport, so I bought an adapter(which NCIX also has label with the wrong description)

Cons: A little noisy

Pros: Nice dual fan coolingNice gaming performance
Comment:
I bought this 6850 instead of the 5850 because it is pretty much the same performance everywhere for a lower price Very light on wattage and still extremely powerfulPlus the dual fan cooling is better than the reference one.great bang for the buck!

Cons: - One of the DVI ports is only single link- Only 1 DisplayPort present compared to the 2 mini-DP on the reference 6850 cards

Pros: + Overclocks well (1000core/1065mem)+ Better cooling compared to other 6850 cards with the Windforce dual-fan cooler+ Great looking design, traditional Gigabyte blue PCB+ Only requires one 6-pin PCI-E power connector+ Excellent CrossfireX scaling with 2nd card+ Supports Eyefinity, UVD3, Blu-ray 3D playback
Comment:
The Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850 is a great upgrade for owners of previous generation cards (Radeon 48xx, 57xx and below). When overclocked it definitely gives performance that can rival the higher-priced 6870. That makes it a great value for the price, as the 6870 costs about $60-70 more. It is also competitive with the GTX 460 1GB cards from NVIDIA. Overall, it is an excellent choice in this price range considering its performance and overclockability.

Cons: - Fan noisy out of the box

Pros: + Overclocks well+ Great Cooler+ Great price to performance ratio
Comment:
HD 6850 is the new 8800GT of this generation, this card will max out everything and then some, overclocks quite alot, and runs very cool while having low power requirements. The card has an issue with the stock bios where the fan is very loud all the time (idles at ~75%), but you can use a tool like MSI Afterburner to reduce the fan speed to normal, or flash the bios that contains a proper fan profile.Managed to overclock it from 775/4000 to 940/4680 with the fans set to only 30% fan (nearly silent in my case), stress tests never set the card beyond 70'c.

Cons: Loud fans, idle l 73%

Pros: Cools u 36 degrees
Comment:
I bought this card based on the reviews Gigabyte had for its GTX460s with dual-fan design. Fans are louder than expected, and idle l 73%, which is rather high imo.
