Works Great - But Only With Latest Drivers
Comment:
At first the adapter refused to connect to my router. I downloaded the latest drivers from iMicro, and it's been working great ever since.

You get what you pay for.
Comment:
Works fine with most of my routers at home, only problem is I occasionally get timed out or the connection will just drop out of no where. Then I need to reconnect in order to get it back going. Truly worth the 20 dollars.

Perfect!

No problems what so ever. Easy to install, didn't even need the start up disk. Been working flawlessly for 3 weeks to far. For ten bucks, no brainer cleans up the the wires around the desk top.

Great Deal!!!
Comment:
I figured for the price, why not? This wireless card did not dissapoint. Installation was as easy as it gets. It consistantly keeps a connection between 34-54 mbps. I've had it for a little over a month and it hasnt lost its connection yet. Don't expect to be downloading at the speed of light, but for basic browsing its perfect. For $10 bucks you just can't beat it. I'm very pleased with this product and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

Worth more than 5 stars, better get one!
Comment:
I tell you what. This little puppy is strong. I cant believe the signal I am getting from that puny antennae. Worth more than what i paid. I would suggest you get one before the FCC bans them! LOL. Instructions could be a bit better but if you know what you are doing its easy. If you don't, you might write a bad review on it. Usually XP wants the drivers before the hardware for these PCI wireless cards, but this one wants the hardware first, then install drivers after XP finds the new hardware. Bottom line, better than DLink and Lynksis. PERIOD.

Works Great with Windows XP, but not with Ubuntu
Comment:
I bought this in the hopes of getting my Dell Optiplex GX260 running Ubuntu 9.04 to go wireless. Luckily, it's a dual boot, because when I try to boot from the Ubuntu partition with the iMicro NT-PCI54M PCI card installed, it freezes up during boot. However, if I boot up from the Windows XP partition, it runs fine and was able to detect the card and install the drivers no problem. So at least I can say it works with Windows XP, but so far, not with Ubuntu!

Card installed in minutes, loaded driver, select signal, and wholla. Using Linksys 54G, no problem getting an excellent signal (48 MPS) with three walls inbetween card and router.

4500 feet
Comment:
Installed in 10 minutes (including getting the cover back on) in a Emachines running XP. Gets a reliable signal at -75 dBm from an access point 4500 feet away. The only real problem I have is that the antenna is non-detachable so I can't put an external antenna on it; and the antenna doesn't stick out very far from the card. It's not like the photo, which shows a reverse SMA connector; it's just a piece of wire soldered onto the board with a plastic swivel antenna cover. But I get almost a mile of range already and works like it's in the same room. Came in 3 days UPS ground (800 miles). I'm buying more and throwing out my CAT5 cables.

Wireless insecurity
Comment:
I bought 10 of these to use in a wireless network conversion for a home based business. The network uses Windows 2000 pro on their workstations. The installation went well until I turned on wireless security. The cards connected when the net was open (security off) but after turning on WPA I was unable to get them to connect at all. I tried every trick I knew after 20 years in computers and couldn't make them work. The tech support number is in mainland China so I didn't call them. I did however email them twice and never received a response. It may have been an issue with Windows 2K driver issue as I read other reviews that said the cards worked fine but in this environment they were a flop.

I get a lot of intermittent dropped signals. Then tried installing the drivers that came with it, and that only caused problems.

Better than D-link
Comment:
I was suprised that this one works better than the d-link i have it is faster easier to install and program works with Vista or windows 7 which the d-link utility software did not.

Works With WPA. Super Fast Shipping!
Comment:
I ordered this on Friday afternoon before Thanksgiving Monday and it arrived at my workplace at 10am on the Tuesday after the holiday Monday! How is shipping that fast even possible?? It literally arrived in less than 1 work day!!! I am using it in an 802.11g WPA network with great results. No problems. Be aware that the antenna is NOT removable if you wanted to attach a different antenna. This is a great card for the price and this is the best store for service. Thanks!

Cheap and easy and it works
Comment:
My GF's roomate has DSL with a wireless router and wanted to share internet service with her. I sure didn't feel like drilling holes and pulling an ethernet cable to hook her up. This $10 solution looked too good to be true. I plugged in the card, loaded the software and it connected instantly.

Love It
Comment:
I messed up on my order and called Customer Service to help me straighten it out. In a minimal time I was in contact with a REAL person that I could UNDERSTAND! He got the double order taken care of and my order placed on the phone, thanks FRANK. I have been using Tiger this retailer since 2002 and all my orders have been great. I got this order in two days despite my goof up. I had both cards installed and working in fifteen minutes and get four bars instead of the three I got with the old adapters. They installed automatically but I went ahead and installed the utilities from the CD. I really liked the interface, much better than most. Features marked down one point because the antenna is connectorless and I wanted to attach a 25db directional antenna, three mile range is buff. I may go ahead and modify the card.

Couldn't get it to work right.
Comment:
The iMicro shows weak signal strength and I couldn't get it to work consistantly. Kept dropping the connection. Oh, well. It was only $10. Switched to a D-Link which works great.

Works great.
Comment:
I bought this for my home computer. It works great and was cheap as well. Even an idiot like me could install it. The only holdback with it was the small software cd. I put it in my laptop and transfered it to a thumb drive to install it. I would recommend this to everybody.

Great, Cheap Solution
Comment:
This was so quick to install that XP had it recognized and installed before I finished reading the short instructions. Picked up an excellent signal 2 floors below the router. Will buy more when the need arises.
