Nice Case. Easy to install elements. Neat blue power LED in face.Service was excellent. I had a Mobo that posted and then stopped. Antec chat resulted in some fantastic concerns, reviewed troubleshooting actions, then sent me a replacement power converter board. No charge and no exchange necessary. Thanks Antec. Antec, please flip front panel USB sockets. They are upside down. I am on my second case and will most likely purchase a third all via NewEgg of course.

Good match for JetWay J7F4K1G2ES-LF (except as noted below), small, rugged, effectively made, great match and finish, PCI adapter alternative, straightforward to function with. For the Jetway I rotated the energy provide to connect cables, but nevertheless barely reached, with wires contacting the case producing it slightly tougher to close. The spare fan cover fits only one particular fan slot and does not swap with the fan. I had to force match it to move the fan close to fanless CPU heatsink. The fan ball bearings are slightly audible at arms length. For desktop use I would possibly swap in a fluid bearing fan. A minor modify in power supply mounting studs placement would resolve the cable issue. Moving the fan was possibly not essential. Having moved it, on the other hand, I could possibly eliminate the fan now and by convection alone still have a lot of thermal margin with the Jetway Eden board. I wanted the solution of adding a Television tuner to double as an generally-on Mythtv backend server, but have not tried it yet.

Was utilizing a 150w PSU with an Atom D510 board, and it was idling at 33w.That PSU was noisy and I was not pleased with the energy consumption (I have an ION setup with a 90W energy brick that idles at 26W).Switched to this case and its 65W energy brick, and it is now idling at 22W and entirely silent! This is the smallest case I have ever owned. Case can only take a laptop sized HDD (room for two) and ODD, but at least the energy is offered for the slim ODD by this case.Case was not the easiest to make a Pc with, but you only do that when, so I don't mind. I've been wanting a case that additional effectively locations the drives Over the MB...properly this a single does that, but then the energy solution requires up that space inside the case. It's a good deal thinking about you get a special, effective, and silent power solution.

Well developed, fits all Low profile Video cards currently on the market place. Very visually pleasing. Also has two two.5" bays for Solid State or Notebook Tough Drives.**After installing a Mini ITX board and processor, there is only room adequate for 65mm for a CPU cooler + Fan. **The uncomplicated airflow design and style keeps the case surprisingly cool. Only comes with a single 80mm fan, but the fans will typically be upgraded anyways. The supplied Tri cool fan runs sonically audible and really loud. Supplied power adapter is only 65 Watts, Can't do considerably with 65 Watts of energy these days. The DC to ATX board power wires impede the 80mm Exhaust Fan air path. The slim optical five.25" bay leaves extremely small choices for an integrated PSU, but there are some nice PICO PSUs out there that match quite effectively. A tiny costly, but effectively worth the investment. Fantastic Solution if you invest in some immediately after market merchandise to Enhance the Cons. I.E. the packaged fan and Energy adapter. Nevertheless a rather formidable product, 5 Eggs.

Very good high quality yada yada (already reviewed it below) Front panel USB ports are upside down compared to the typical Ha ha really funny Antec. You've got a prankster in the design and style or assembly division. The front panel USB ports are upside down. They still perform fantastic but your clients aren't gonna be capable to see their small flashing lights on their usb drives and wireless usb modems will point down, not up. I suppose I could turn the entire case over but then the DVD would be on bottom and load upside down and your logo and text on the front would be upside down. Don't get me wrong. I nevertheless dearly enjoy your ISK 300 case. I just wanted to let the prankster on the group know that I "got it".Hey, wait a minute. You didn't employ that out-of-function engineer that ran all those calculations to for the descent of the initially Mars lander, did you?

Case consists of Slimline SATA Cable for the inevitable slimline optical drive install. Good stand to firmly hold unit vertical. Extremely fairly even with stock fan on low speed and Zotac's CPU fan secured to heat sink. If you're more than age 40 or went to a couple of rock concerts it will be totally silent. Cables are as well long. This is developed as a real tiny case so you feel they'd contain some 4"-five" SATA cables like Shuttle does in their SFFs. The included 14" cables have to be snaked all over the spot to fit. Not a massive deal, really. If you get rid of the 65W power board from within the case you open up a lot of area. This applies when working with an ITX board that comes with it's own power supply (like the Zotac ITX Ion series). This is a excellent area stuff extra cables and wires. The case could essentially be smaller were it not for the installed power board. If you do use a Zotac Ion board the power connector is ideal against the integrated case fan so make confident wires don't touch fan (you'll know it quickly when you switch it on). Also if using a Zotac Ion board the power connector is strictly SATA so to use the integrated Slimline SATA cable you'lll have to get a 4-pin Molex to SATA power adapter or just do like me and splice the red and black leads between the power cable and Slimline adapter power lead.

Pulled factory PS out, applied PS integrated with Asus Ion board which is external. That created area for two 3.5HD's. Mounted 1 below the CDROM mount, just place stand offs in HD' and drilled 4 holes in bracket to screw into the stand-offs. Down side is now CDROM won't fit without modifications. No require for my HTPC to have cdrom so I'm not worried. Also mounted other HD straight in front of factory installed 80MM fan. Had to mod the bracket a bit to give it space but it performs, and heat hasn't been an concern. Scratches Extremely quickly. Didn't assume about the fact that the "bottom" of the case would be the side when I stood it up. Not terrible but I notice. CDROM door cover is low cost. Not anything to deduct an egg from for me considering that I don't use it. Fantastic little form element Computer case for a HTPC. Was looking at creating my personal but couldn't come up with a functional design as low-cost as I could buy this. Pulled factory fan and replaced with Scythe so no notion how quiet they are. Really should have stepped up to 150 model as I assume it has a different set of air holes and would have worked well with my last HD. Great case for the price tag.

I'm constantly seeking for methods to conserve some space. This tiny tiny case completely fit the bill. I coupled it with an Intel BOXD525MW Intel Atom D525@ 1.8GHz (Dual Core) BGA559 Intel NM10 Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo and a Corsair Nova CSSD-V32GB2-BRKT two.five" 32GB SATA II Internal Strong State Drive (SSD) to create a noiseless program that only pulls about 15 watts at idle. I entirely removed the fan (and its connected mounting cage) constructed into the case as it is really not required if you retain the case vertical provided the low heat generation of the Atom D525. (You could not get away with that if you use it horizontally.) Everything was quite nicely labeled and the make was quite uncomplicated. Like the external energy supply with no fan! Yes, the plastic on the front does appear a little flimsy. Smaller than my UPS! I may well have to build a couple more!

Extremely solid really feel and intuitive attributes. Assembly was cake. It even comes with a single of these little sata power cables for the slim odd unit. Brilliant! slim odd make me cry...annoying to set up and always a gamble in terms of comparability. I utilised a samsung with no challenge. --Agree: same pros as Alan already mentioned beneath. --There was a rust inhibitor chemical sheet inside the case, and no visible rust, contrary to what some other people reported. --Case is sturdy painted steel, every little thing lines up perfectly, and doesn't bend/deform any easier than other desktop situations I've utilized. As talked about, all necessary screws are integrated, even two of the tiny ones necessary to mount an optical drive; this is very welcome, offered how challenging it would be to find those.--Energy-on blue LED is nicely unobtrusive, mounted so it shines gently downward, toward the angled bezel.--Good that it has space for two two.five" HDs on the easily removable drive tray. I may possibly add a SSD later, to use for the boot drive, and maintain the spinning drive for data.--With the MSI Zacate board installed, I have the case fan operating on "L" speed, but the board is so energy-effective that the exhaust air is cold. CPU fan tends to make much more noise than the case fan. Total system draws about 17-20W. --Wiring harness is very short. Every little thing fit, but the front panel wires could have been longer, to permit for neater routing.--Tight clearance around the PCIe slot, which I didn't use. It would be a pain to use it, provided cables running too close to it.--I don't know why they include a generic/useless MB I/O shield. It's not going to line up with any certain MB, and hopefully, your MB comes with the ideal custom shield. It's like the Goldilocks and the 3 bears story: this case is not as well small, not too big, but just right.

Stylish, uncomplicated style. Suprisingly superior rubber feet for horizontal layout. Power indicator is a great glow from bottom (side if vertical) of case. No blinding, vivid blue LED on the front ... quite pleasant function.Wire ties ! ... you mean someone gave me $ .10 worth of plastic for cost-free? Nice ... Asus AT5Ion fit but was very tough to get backplane/board aligned correctly. Practically like the backplane opening was off by a mm or 2.A case speaker would have been great ... Was worried about situation fan from other critiques so got a Gelig to replace the default. Poor move. Gelig demands four pin, Asus board has only 3 pin so fan was on total all the time. Place the default back and is fine on low for now.

Excellent airflow style, drawing air over the board.High efficiency, fanless, PSU.PSU contains slim SATA power! Yay!Space for two 2.5" drives.Huge ࿰mm x2) exhaust fans, so you can run them slowly.Superior clearance more than the CPU socket.General, appears like a lot of care went into the design. The price tag for the the CPU socket clearance is that the situation is quite deep. There is no clearance at all on the right side of the mobo (as observed from the front of the situation), creating a tight squeeze for mobos with their ATX connector up against that side. The front bezel appears a bit flimsy, both the switches and the ODD cover -- I'd expect the ODD latch mechanism to break with frequent use.The AC/DC brick sometimes buzzes audibly when it is plugged in and the method is off.The included fan is not the finest top quality.I would have liked an air filter on the intake. Great for an HTPC, as lengthy as you don't need a full-height expansion slot. I'm not employing a Television tuner of any sort, and am not using the expansion slot at all.Or, if you're tight on space, it could make a nice little below-monitor desktop.

Effectively produced and attractive. Exterior drive door cover for DVD is clean. Ity-bity screws for the Slim DVD are maddening to install. There should be a version sold without the energy supply due to the fact it's only 65W (and Newegg description says energy supply not integrated ... go figure). I had already selected this situation for my miniITX project when I bought it as portion of a combo with a Zotac Ion Atom board. Had to take away the Antec power provide board in the situation along with the energy lead because the Zotac comes with it's own 90W PSU which is superior than the Antec's 65WPSU anyway. Case fan has three speed selections and the Zotac came with a CPU fan that runs inunison.

- Solid construction.- Total bundle of parts (screws, cable ties, rubber feet, stand for vertical positioning).- Thumbscrews. - Some edges are not smooth (I cut myself though operating on the fan cage).- Inexpensive hardware and switches.- Fan a bit noisy even on low. On the front panel there is a blue led for HD activity and and bigger blue area for power led, sort of nice and not too vivid.I removed the blank for the second fan to enhance airflow, and disconnected the other 1, since the noise signature was annoying to me. My system (ION 330 on Linux Mint 9) shouldn't need to have a fan, but in situation I will swap the 80mm x 25 fan with a really silent one.

Modest and sleek for those minimalist like meHas one particular Low Profile Expansion slotFront USB, eSata, some men and women may not like the exposed I/O front panel, but I locate this actually beneficial, just plug it it and go, there's no need to have for an additional step to open the tray to plug anything in, and there close it afterward...External Power provide which makes cable management inside easier*Decent space insideAntec also involve a bunch of added screws and zip ties which is actually useful 2x2.five" Challenging Drives, I mean I know this prior to I purchased this, but I'd completely trade 2x2.five for 1x.3.five if they can make it fit! The front Optical drive cover is flimsy, would have been a lot nicer if it's either just plain no cover, or a superior locking mechanismAir Flow is truly limited, putting in an more fan is Hugely suggestedBraided cable would help airflow a lots If you prefer getting a quiet, and easy cable management case, go with thisElse go with the ISK300-150 or ISK310-150those newer model have a lots superior case ventilation, but the large internal energy supply is the trade offAlso, for those who's interested in upgrading the external power provide for this case, use 19v 3.42a with 65Watts or lower only, the internal module will not be in a position to handle far more than 65watts, which is sort of a down side, i'm thinking of placing a discrete graphic card on my Zacate board, for a little much more juice for a few game, and that require a tiny a lot more power intake too, and this limit your "upgradibility" but I mean, this case was meant to be low energy, quiet, really tiny form element

I have utilized this case for a few builds and am happy with the quality and value of the case. The design and airflow of the case are great. For the price, the supplies are decent. Its an straightforward build, with some exceptions (see cons). - Be very careful to use the proper screws to fasten the motherboard to the case, there are only 4 screws which are challenging to distinguish from the other individuals in the components bag and there is minimal documentation indicating this. You know you utilized the wrong screw if it threads initially but following mild tightening loses the thread.- There are odd pieces of paper included in the components bag, these are to spot beneath the two.5" drives, make certain to use them! This is not the best solution for isolating the drives from the case, in my opinion. I recommend this case for mini-itx builds, its tiny but not cramped, and good airflow.

smaller size, thumb screws for case cover, quiet fan, well created and effortless to figure out chassis configuration, space for 2 x two.5'' HDDs, from ports with keyed headers for simple installation, eSATA on front is good touch for HTPC or NAS builders expansion slot is half-height oriented vertically but quite a few new situations in this form element use a horizontally mounted full height expansion which would have been preferred. Of course, this would need a riser card for expansion, but if utilizing the expansion slot simply for ports from onboard headers, modifying a slot cover for the smaller expansion slot is some thing of a chore. wonderful small case that could suitable for a selection of applications.Specs:Zotac ION 2302GB DDR2 800 RAM640 GB Scorpio blue

Incredibly properly built itx case, superb ventilation*, and silent PSU. I wish the 65w PSU was closer to 90w, but what I'm running in it won't give the 65w a lot difficulty. *Swapped out the tri-cool fan for a pair of Enermax 80mm silent fans (N82E16811999199). Keeps my Zotac Atom Ion dual core system cool and silent.

- Modest, yet significant adequate so anything fits effortlessly- Ventilation is superb- High reliability power supply- Adjustable fan speed (low, med, high), and quiet- Appealing, can sit appropriate in the desktop and takes up small room- Sturdy construction none - other than perhaps the cdrom cover door - it's a small flimsy but not poor. I've purchase a half dozen of these so far and it's far better than any other mini-itx case I've utilised. I like the color, form element, develop good quality and ventilation. IMO it's an ideal case for Atom based mini-itx motherboards. I'm using a Intel D510MO and it functions fine as a low power, very functional office pc (draws 22W max, 2W sleep). I like the external 60W provide simply because if it ever fails I can simply discover a replacement even if this box is discontinued. The internal component of the supply runs cool and is fanless, so it should last a long time.

reasonably properly-built case, nice heavy metal. Not rather as nicely-built as other antec instances I've run across. The thumbscrews in the back panel had been cross-threaded when I received the unit, and it is now impossible to put in the center screw by hand. I doubt I'll be opening it up now that every little thing is together, but it is still a disappointment. Also, the retention mechanism for the PCI-E slot hangs down over the slot itself. This makes inserting an HDMI cable into a ZOTAC ION-GPU-A-E, which has the port at the best. I had to snap off the retention mechanism to have factors fit effectively. Luckily, the case is in a spot where absolutely nothing will be bumped. Though the case is much superior than some other mini-itx circumstances I've come across, this is not the type of excellent and thoughtfulness I would anticipate of an Antec product. I'll have to be considerably a lot more careful in the future when picking a case and not just trusting the name.
