Comment:
Can nevertheless READ SD cards... and i have no other cards to use with it. Internal was nice. Will no longer let me write to ANY SD card i use. The cards are great as they are usable in my camera (can read/write by way of usb in that), my printer, and my wii.Initially it was just finicky on regardless of whether or not it would let me be in a position to write. Was my initial obtain for an internal card reader. Purchased a different brand not too long ago for a buddy and will possibly buy the very same for when I construct a new comp.

Its low cost and it operates on Windows 7 Beta, no software expected. Modest size, upside down SD card slot. Also, cards stick out incredibly far, can not close the door on your situation with cards in the reader. Ive tested an SD card and a CF card in it and they each worked.

Looks nice. I am working with this device in a 64-bit Vista program. Even though Vista finds the device with no dilemma, the device continually disconnects and reconnects from the OS. The USB hardware icon in the method tray appears, then disappears, then appears. I tried connecting the card reader to an additional USB port on the motherboard with no luck.

Works as intended. Installed and was detected fine. None Took up one particular of my USB headers on my mobo so i can't use one particular of my front regular situation usb slots but that is ok since this factor has a usb slot anyhow.

Effectively, what to say. It reads card's rapidly, and performs good. Also, Quite low value. A bit smaller to stick into the case, although it fits fine (more of a hassle then a problem). A Fundamental sufficient memory card reader not requiring external power. It works fine so far, and I hope it will in the future.

Looks fine, matches situation color perfectly. Works. It's hard to get a card in the xD slot, it kind of moves off to the side. But because I'm 1 of like four men and women in the world who truly use xD cards, I doubt that will hamper any person. This is truly a lot more my case than the item but due to the fact it's so brief, it barely reaches the bracers for the drives, and I had to bend down the bits of metal that make the bottom seat to line up the screw holes. Not a large deal at all.

Works as advertised, fees half as a lot as comparable units. none No problem preinstalling this if you intend to install Microsoft's most current, as Vista is intelligent enough to ignore these drive bays in the course of the initial load. Slots obtain drive letter assignments After the install. Just one more reason to really like Vista.

- excellent value- takes only 1 USB header- no firewire / esata that most circumstances already have- no idiotic logos on the front except USB which is good- Quick! 15-20MB /s beats the hell out of the card reader in my printer- takes fairly substantially any format - it creates 4 drives for you, but I have them disabled and enable them only when I use the reader- the cable BARELY produced it to the header on my mobo (although I routed it so you dont see the cable at all) for the price tag it's a bargain

It works, and it is a easy card reader. It has a Front usb port I wish it didn't have 1. But I knew this ahead of ordering so five eggs. Like most front usb ports, it doesn't have sufficient energy to charge or even read some usb interface solutions, so I disabled it (the usb port only). I currently have two front usb ports, and this happens to them too but there enabled. For some reason name brand personal computer have very effective front usb ports that can read and charge virtually any usb item.

It reads what you plug into it. What a lot more do you want? It has a non cheapo front. Most in this value range are dumpy seeking. xfering large files ƒgb or so) more than the USB 2. could lead to a BSOD in XP. But maybe not. It was the only explanation I could come up with for the quit error. Has not happened in a long even though. Like I stated, It's a card reader. I don't know that there is a very good or bad one out there. Just buy one particular that has the ports you want.

Installed easy, Functions excellent, no weird problems at all. installed with no any drivers win7. took two minutes to install it all common way to install. straightforward and ideal. men and women giving negative testimonials when they are the challenge not the product. Us Techs read testimonials to get good data on other buyers experiences. why would anyone write a assessment when naturally its user error or lack of expertise. I virtually didnt buy this because of poor evaluations ITS A Best Product all connections are internal this product is best. if you dont know how to plug in a usb header then spend a person to doit for you ahead of you ruin something please. for other builders, this is good get definitely easy and fast to place in.

Just a Query for the existing owners - 5 Stars because I will not lessen a product's overall rating for a question Just a Query for the present owners My "review" is a query for those remarking about the reader generating 4 drives and "disabling" them to make them not show up: Does the choice "Hide Empty Drives In The Computer Folder" located below the View tab in Folder Options not hide these drives? (In Vista and Win7 OS)

It functions on my windows vista 64 bit edition with out a flaw. Nice and quick and incredibly excellent quality for its price. Reads all sorts of cards and gives me a nice added USB up front. It also takes the cards in just sufficient to exactly where it wont fall out but it leaves enough to where my large ol fingers can still get ahold of the tiny cards to pull it out. You have to put your cards in upside down..thats just wierd to me.
