Cons: Dropping connection every 2 hours.

Pros: Cheap, good rate when held connection, DD:WRT.
Comment:
I am admittedly not a networking expert or in the best of WiFi environments, but this thing wasn't worth two bucks to me.I connect a laptop, Xbox 360, tablet & two mobile phones. Wouldn't hold a connection longer than two hours. Constantly kicking me off, dropping, etc. Totally disappointed.

Cons: DD-WRT firmware version very unstable in Win7 environmentno GB lan/wan

Pros: Very stable with "user friendly" firmware - no dropped connectionsGood receptionExcellent value at $50
Comment:
Bought this because it came equipped with DD-WRT firmware. I had nothing but grief trying everything to get it working properly. Connection from each computer was unreasonably slow - wired or wireless and they would not stay connected at 300Mbps on wireless for more than a few hours. After 1 week of this I decided to try flashing the "User Friendly" firmware that everyone seemed to be negative about. This fixed all the issues. Router is very stable, clients connect at 300Mbps all the time and I have not had to touch the router since. Wireless performance is excellent. I get 5 bars most places in the house including down stairs.I would have given it 5 starts if not for the firmware hassles.

Cons: None

Pros: Easy to set up. Comes with a stand so you stand it up or lay it down depending on the space you have. I've noticed an good increase in signal strength and speed over the old dlink router I had, which made it worth the purchase. It just works!
Comment:
I'm not very educated regarding routers and router settings so getting them to work is always a challenge for me. This was nice and easy and had it running in less than 30 mins, including connecting all the wireless devices in our home.I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Cons: DD-WRT does not have repeater mode on these routers so far. I understand it is in the works.

Pros: Well built, 2 upgradable omni's.Vertical, horizontal, or wall mountable (comes with hardware to do so).DD-WRT is now stock firmware.
Comment:
These are good routers. The great thing about them is you can upgrade the antennas and even set the wireless configuration to tell it it has a better one (ie 9dbi). Most high powered routers are great, but when you put a larger antennae on them, it does not adjust the power to the antennae accordingly and causes them to burn out faster. That is what makes these so great. Out of 30 there is about 1 with small wireless disconnects...but the fix for that is reverse the wall outlet and that usually fixes the dropout caused by polarity issues on your power.

Cons: None.

Pros: Reliable, 3 floor house, wireless all covered. the range and speed is excellent and cover all the corners. Affordable.
Comment:
The setup is easy. Good Signal. Good price. Highly recommend. Great warranty. I have tried d-link DIR-615 and linksys wrt110n routers, they are rubbish. I would buy and recommend Buffalo whenever possible from now on.Reminder: the one that I received does not have a separate antenna module. This is a cool new router. I had an old Buffalo router 5 years ago at a different place and it is still working.
