We installed this card into my wife's laptop to replace the built-in adapter which did not support 802.11n. We were surprised and dismayed to see that this new device failed to detect over half the available networks the built in, 6 years old adapter detected. More damning still is the incredibly awful software that ships with the device: the monitor program, which no doubt was designed for the novice user, is so basic it is actually difficult to navigate, and offers no advanced options, and even the simplistic menus and options it offers do not work well -- trying managing profiles from the profiles page and you'll find it accepting all of your inputs, but failing to act or even provide an error indicating why it did nothing. |

It was an easy setup. Works great. No complaints. |
product works great in my pentium4 notebook running WinXP. 802.11N is very fast, and I have not found the extent of it's range yet. works everywhere around my house. setup was easy, recommend product.
