Cons: No connection for the front audio ports on the case

Pros: Excellent sounding card, separate MIDI expansion card
Comment:
This card is a really great value. Sounds amazing. Wish I could hook it up to my from case audio ports, but oh well. Does everything I need.

Cons: A little light in printed documentation, to get the most out of it you really need 5.1 or 7.1 speakers, no advanced EAX support

Pros: Excellent sound quality, amount of packaged cables, build quality, lighted inputs on card
Comment:
This is the first soundcard I have bought in years (last being an original Creative SBLive first gen in about 1999!). The reason for this purchase was my onboard Dell HDAudio would not work at all with Linux, so I figured "what the hell". I would have gone for PCI-E but, only had a PCI slot available. So far I have been thrilled with the card. Not only was the installation easy and straight-forward, but I had no driver issues! Which is a big difference from the SBLive days and Vista and Creative these days.Sound quality has been excellent. My desktop PC speakers are Creative T-40s and before I could already hear the difference between MP3s

Cons: No 5.0 EAX support

Pros: Good software and hardware packageQuality componentsIntuitive audio center

Just got this sound card, really amazing compared to my XFI extreme music. I love it, my Logitec z5300e never sounded better.I might have to upgrade to the Z5500 speakers. The bundled software & accessories package are incredible, they thought of every applicable hardware.I see no weaknesses other than the 5.0 EAX support for games, but that's not an issue since new games do not use it anymore.

Cons: - Sound quality leaves a bit to be desired- Not meant for gaming- Fake EAX Advanced HD support Distorts Audio

Pros: - DDL and DTS- Solid Drivers- Best Looking Sound Card
Comment:
I have had this card for 2 months now. I was shopping for a card that supported DDL and DTS to replace my X-Fi Xtreme Music which lacked those two features. At first I was quite impressed but being a gamer this had faded somewhat. I have been stuck switching between this card and my Xtreme Music (having both installed and switching Windows Default audio) for 2 months now.I've jumped the gun and now await the arrival of my Auzentech Prelude 7.1 Sound Card (which encompasses all of the features of both the Xonar and the X-Fi).I don't recommend this card to anyone who likes gaming. It's a great card for an HTPC though.

Cons: None :P

Pros: Well designed, amazing sound (especially with 7.1 speakers)
Comment:
This card is absolutely unbelievable. I did a bit of research before buying a soundcard and this was rated as one of the top ones. There is no doubt in my mind that this will blow away most people.I swear, even the product itself looks beautiful *nerd drool*.

Cons: PowerDVD included does not have DTS.

Pros: Easy install. Downloaded drivers off their website, very easy to use. Nice on-screen console. Comes with PowerDVD (non DTS version *costs $15 for DTS* of PowerDVD). Looks very clean. LED's are a nice touch.
Comment:
It's an awesome soundcard. I would buy another one in a minute. Easy to use, looks great and sounds amazing. Paired with Logitech Z-5500's via optical cable it sounds incredable. Comes with a fair length TOSlink cable (6ft. I believe). Comes with 2 pairs of the optical connectors. The price might scare many buyers away, but with the DTS and DD Prologic II, it sounds amazing.
