Looks excellent . The power provide did not die although I was flashing bios on a 200 dollar motherboard . Purchased two from newegg , so had an additional . The 2nd a single seems to be ok . Power supply died within four hours . Will not get this product once again . Quite disappointed to see a new construct not power on following only 4 hours of running time . Just glad that I did not loose the motherboard in bios flash . Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA by way of us for the energy provide to get an exchange on the PSU if you are nevertheless beneath our warranty period. Although it worked, it did it's job. Liked the 3 fans it had. Came with plenty of of hook-ups for any case/setup (including each sata and pata). Lasted only 3 years, which doesn't sound horrible, but I have power supplies that are twice the age, and have 1 from around the identical that nonetheless operating, of course it is a different brand. Was never ever beneath a heavy load, hooked up to a surge suppressor/power regulator with a battery backup for two years of it's life and the final year was just a surge suppressor in no way been tripped. Should've identified with other evaluations that it was a matter of time. It is a larger power supply than some.

I bought this when it initial came out, a long time ago. It works well nevertheless to this day with a amd 6100+ and 8800 GT. The cables are genuinely large and long for my mid-tower, and kinda stiff as properly. It is hot, and when you turn the fans up it gets really loud. None

I've had this PS considering that 2񳏆. It's gone through a lot of mobo, video card, CPU, and so on upgrades. It's been incredibly consistent and hasn't let me down, no matter what I've thrown at it. None. From the sounds of it, I could be 1 of the lucky ones that didn't get a lemon. As lengthy as you can get a stable 1 it need to last you rather awhile.Started using this with:Athlon 64 3200+Asus A8N-SLIXFX 6600GT x2 in SLI (had x2 7600GT's at one point also)x4 512MB RAMx2 IDE HD's and x2 Optical drivesCurrently it's powering:AMD Phenom 9950 Agena 2.6GHz Quad-Core Black EditionGIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4HXFX 9800GTx2 2GB RAMx2 IDE HD'sx1 SATA HDx1 DVD-ROM

Wiring is lengthy adequate for my full case. Fan speed is adjustable. The wires glow below uv light. It is only loud if you turn the fan speed all the way up. I purchased this in December ཁ and it is nonetheless going powerful. At one point I was powering six tough drives with no hiccups. At present it is powering mainly the same parts because then with the exception of a GeForce 9800gtx+

The fan is quite excellent, does a really excellent job.three fans with adjustable speeds. It is very noisy at 100% fan speed but you can get used to it. I am approaching on three years owning this power provide. It did finally burn out like 2 nights ago.I believe that three years is a long time for it to be going strong.I think dust buildup lastly got to it,so it is partly my fault i suppose. It in all probability could've kept going.I recommend this power supply to everyone.

This unit was bought for less than ์. in 2003 and has held up on a daily basis due to the fact then, now three񳏉, nonetheless operating fine. Pretty remarkable. Lost original box. I've utilized OCZ, Antec, Corsair, and others, but by no means had a psu last this long without issue.Rig; Asus P800D-E, P4 three.0E Ɠ.4g), ATI9800 Pro, Ide WDD, floppy, 2x1 ddr 800 Corsair, optical CD and several fans. The LED's nonetheless function as properly on the psu fan. I'll give it five eggs, nonetheless after 6 years operating.

~Plenty of cables and peripherals to meet my wants~Decent length~Cool cable color ~DOA It was a cool searching PSU, and was going to be a part of my very first gaming rig. Sadly, after giving it some power, it remained inert. I could hear a low whine, indicating it was receiving power, but neither fan nor LED lights functioned. Following operating it for a few seconds, I turned it off and a tiny trail of smoke began to waft out of the PSU. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. Really like the adjustable fan on this factor. I use it on an older machine now, but when it was my primary (Up until a couple of days ago) I could game and crank this puppy up for extra air flow if necessary or just leave it all the way down and it was nice and quiet. Amazing PSU for the price. Lasted me 6 years and as far as I know, still works like a champ. Can't feel of anything. Terrific PSU for older systems. I bought mine 6 years ago and never ever had an problem with it. Terrific product.

I've had this Power Supply Running my Abit KV8 Max3, Sapphire 1600, 1HD, two Optical Drives, Sapphire Theater550,Floppy,and 6 Fans for the past three years now and a month or so ago I decided to attempt my Apevia Digital Energy Supply Tester (which is nice too) on it and I tell you. It's nonetheless going powerful on all lines. What a obtain, this turned out to be. Get It! I also agree with keeping the fan control up all the way, it has been for 3 years and is most most likely why this Energy Supply has lived so lengthy. It's not that loud. I only have turned my program off while going away on vacation too, which is about two weeks each and every year, so for what thats worth. Just keeps on Going and Going! There is no cons about it. How could there be following years of very good clean Energy. Going to do an Upgrade soon. Have the Gigabyte 770 AM2+ board and want to put The Sapphire (Blue Board version) HD3870 on it using the supplied 4pin to 6pin PCIE adaptor but not confident if this Power Supply would give adequate to the Card because the requirements are a 450w PS with 75 watts on the PCIE connector. Can't uncover any specs telling me if it would be doable. Maybe if Apevia could aid me in my decision here on weather it would be OK, Don't want to loose this good Power Supply. I've got 1 for my sister's construct a year or so ago also, and hers is still going strong too.

Liked the big power switch. Created it straightforward to uncover when reaching behind the pc. What I believed were pros when I bought this energy supply turned out to be cons. For instance three fans means a lot more noise and far more aggravation. Adjustable fan speed is just an additional component to break down. LED lights are cool for about a week then they just light up your bedroom when you are attempting to sleep. Lots of connectors mean lots of unnecessary clutter when only about 1ǘ of them get used. I had to use an adapter to get energy to my SATA hard drive (the current version has ƒ) SATA connectors). The "Fan Speed Adjustment" lettering on the back is upside down when installed at the leading of a case with the fan down. The biggest con of all...it wasn't built to final. This one worked fine for three-1ǘ years then started a slow decline that ended in complete failure. What is actually frustrating is that I purchased a replacement motherboard thinking that was the challenge before I realized it was the energy supply all along (my poor I guess for not diagnosing appropriately). I have noticed that people today appear to accept pc component failure as regular. Why is that? I'm not "happy" about the 3-1ǘ years of excellent service I got from it just to have it expire and price me numerous hours of unnecessary hassles and money that could have gone to one thing else. I don't want to construct or obtain a laptop or computer and have to be concerned about it failing. But most of them do in a brief period of time. The energy supply is the rock of the program. It really should do it's job reliably and not be heard or noticed. We as buyers really should not accept this type of performance.

Good Energy Supply powered my SLI system for over 3 years with out any complications, bit loud with the pound of dust in it. Wasn't able to stand up to three years of no cleaning and a month of poor ventilation. Just recently died, soon after getting replaced by a new method. Will be replacing PSU with very same model :) Hopfully this time i'll maintain the program cleaner

Worked like it need to work. The sleeve that holds together the wires is good. 4 and a half years of running strong isn't all that bad. Bought it in 2005, and it lastly crapped out, and I'm going to try to repair it myself.
