-massive range of processor support-DDR2/DDR3 memory support -cpu core unlocking-overclocking choices-has much more than one BIOS logo screen which is cool -onboard video isn't great compared to some similarly priced Radeon HD onboard solutions but it nonetheless supports Nvidia PurevideoHD for programs like PowerDVD in offload decoding. It gets the job done in Aero/Youtube-utilizes a By way of Vinyl audio chip which is decent, but most most likely you will have to download the drivers for it. I obtain alot of spending budget boards and this is close to the best of my list of potentially acquiring once more. It comes really close to the kind of quality you get from Gigabyte or Asus.In theory you could get started out with a Athlon X2 processor and DDR2 ram and upgrade to a Phenom X6 down the road and nonetheless be able to use your DDR2 ram or upgrade to DDR3.So yeah it was a properly thought out board for futureproofness. No significant flaws.

lots of functions, affordable. very stable at stock speeds, but considering the primary concentrate of most of this factors functions are OC'ing it much better be stable at stock. says it can run with a 20 pin PSU, but ive observed no official note on the specifications for that. couldnt OC my three.two Ghz processor to three.5 stable, it did it, but following less than 10 minutes of prime 95 the system rebooted for some reason. and the ram voltage isnt set at appropriate intervals, im either a 1Ǚ volt over or below, no choice for on target. im acquiring less and less pleased about this board, but this was the initial challenge with the board itself, my other troubles had been with the tech support and the empty driver disc i got and the slow boot speeds.

-Will fit in Pretty much each case.-BIOS is uncomplicated to navigate.-Comes with some pretty good program i.e. Instant Boot.-Has UCC (unfortunately more CPU 4th and 3rd core are unstable). None so far. Some of the connectors are spot oddly, especially the Floppy IDE cable for when I require to put SATA drivers for XP.

Good board for the cash. Installation was a breeze. I expected to reinstall Windows XP with this alter in motherboard, but only had to reinstall the motherboard drivers. That was a 1st! I replaced an ABit board that was having problems. Limited PCI sockets and with utilizing an EVGA video card that takes up two openings I only have one PCI slot available now. Hope that isn't a dilemma later. Must have gone with the ASrock K10N78D for extra PCI slots but it wasn't accessible when I needed to get a board

6 core capable, nonetheless read comments below. Supports either DDR2 or DDR3 for future upgrades. Capabilities UCC which makes it possible for the prospective to unlock disabled cores, which I have not attempted yet. Will work with high powered 20 pin power supply (ᡊA on the 12 volt rail, I am guessing), which is often a plus in case you have not upgraded to a 24 pin yet. Also gives a run for it dollars against my old Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 I had. :) It's an older chipset, about three years old now, but for the price, I can't complain though for the cost. Attempting to uncover a 95 watt x6 core is tough to uncover appropriate now, most are 125 watt which this motherboard does NOT support. Running Windows 7 Expert 64 bit with four gigs of Essential Tech memory and a Athlon X2 7750 Kuma Core and all is working excellent. I have updated to the 1.4 Bios version at the time of this review.

It does what it says, It unlocks, overclocks, It's AM2, AM2+ and AM3, It can hold DDR2 and DDR3 RAM. This is a great MOBO for people with AM2 or AM2+ and DDR2 RAM and wants a new motherboard for future upgrade from a AM2 processor to AM3 When I unlocked my AMD SEMPRON 140 and produced it into a dualcore, the screen got all blocky and I wasn't able to view any photos. Following unlocking the core, just about every time I restarted my computer I would go into a "System restore" then by chance it will go into yet another "System restore." It truly is annoying. Please assist Newegg Tech, or Asrock Techs, I hate going by way of the system restore concern. I'm not positive if this can function with a AMD PHENOM II x 2 555 black edition. Can anyone confirm it? Thanks!

Cost-effective, reliable, stable, quickly! only up to 95w cpu support. This board is really fluid in everything it does. OC's and Unlocks cores with almost no effort. Unlocked my Athlon II x3 3.2GHz in a breeze. quickboot gets windows 7 ultimate running in no time at all! My 2GB of DDR2 PC5300 is running as if it had been DDR3 with no lag! Even when pushing it by running Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, VLCplayer, itunes, objectdock, avg antivirus, and the sims 3 all at when, every player was running a video or song and sims 3 started up in two minutes flat! This board is worth far a lot more then I paid for it!

Cost was superior. All the old components worked with out fail. Upgradable later. Lots of extras I don't need four memory slots, 2xDDR2 and 2xDDR3, but it states that in the description. would have been nice if they all worked for either Bought this board to fix a pals Dead Emachine
