Quite Open to expansion, Lots of SATA ports, Hybrid Xfire, Nice on board GPU, Ton of capabilities. Arrived seemingly Fine out of the box, Ran all drivers and all seemed well, Plugged some headphones into the front panel of my antec 1200 case and a loud ringing occurred, a lot more tinkering ensued to no avail, I deemed it a case problem and pushed forward. I bought a Surround sound headset that had double audio choices (Usb and Optic), allowing me to control the volumes of the 2 with 2 separate controllers(i.e. Game volume, and Ventrilo). I had been utilizing some high efficiency cans for a few months, so when the audio of the optic port sounded type of low cost, I chalked it up to the good quality of a 赀 headset. So ultimately I plugged my Headphones into the back panel and there was the loud ringing I had heard about 2 weeks just before.I had already invested a lot of time into my build and decided to just get a standalone sound card. All seemed nicely until last night, 1 day immediately after I could have returned it via RMA when it died... It has a lot of seemingly superior functions, that you would have to delve deep into to see how they truly function. Hybrid crossfire only truly works to xfire low efficiency GPU to the onboard GPU, I have a 6950HD which I believed given that I didn't obtain two of them it would be nice to have the small extra efficiency of the two working in sync, but i couldn't believe (information is so misleading) it stops at 5450HDs. Having construct a High performance PC, the rest of the characteristics fall into the identical category, where I don't even know if they are actually working or not (AMD 6 core CPU and Hi-efficiency DDR3 ram) so those features appear to be much less appealing than they could have been. In all this Mobo appears to be superior suited for giving you better performance to low performance components (which is a definite plus). I would have ultimately gotten about to writing a very good review and even much better one if it worked 100% out of the box but due to problems I was prompted to write a negative one.
