It was truly nice for 20 minutes, then it stopped operating It stopped working immediately after 20 minutes. I had it plugged into my laptop (which was on wall power) and it was plugged into a surge protector. It simply stopped working.

It was quite good while it worked. I utilised to use this monitor for gaming... before I went ahead and upgraded to a 32" Sony Bravia 1080P Television. Colors are Outstanding and has numerous modes to make the colors richer or duller. It's been two years given that I bought the Monitor and a Year due to the fact I personally (put it in the workplace for my family members members to use, instead of my gaming rig and server). It's been about a Month and the Monitor turns off sporadically, practically as if there is no energy getting fed into it. On the other hand, the monitor functions fine when you plug it in but turns off within 20 minutes. I have practically troubles until it hit the two year mark... I've had a Samsung 17" that I purchased over five years ago and it has given me problems... except for the 1 dead pixel. Its extremely unfortunate simply because ASUS is what I thought a reputable brand with solid products... but I'll undoubtedly assume twice about purchasing a monitor from these guys again. five eggs for Newegg... 1 egg for Asus...

low-cost, excellent seeking and really dependable. i already owned 1 befoer i order my second one and 22 inch is best anything else bigger and you should be blind or sitting couple feet away from the screen. lol none

Value, stable stand, picture, no dead pixels following over 21 months of use and a number of moves (back and forth from colege just about every couple of months.) This monitor is solid, dependable, and Rapid. 2 ms is awesome. Completely none. This monitor is a steal correct now for the 135 bucks they're offering. Who cares if this thing has HD or not. You can play 720p streams and such, no 1080p naturally, but then again, why do you want to watch 1080p on a 22 inch screen?????

Particularly vivid colors, Intuitive operation, decent sound for built in speakers. nice slim bezels, cease noticing after 4 seconds of gameplay. **no dead pixels ** /happydance with out some sort of isolation the screen wobbles terribly unless your desk is ROCK solid. Locations base on old mouse pad which assists to mitigate the wobble in the course of hyped typing

nice and bright and wide a lot of space to perform on two apps - wish I had this when I was studying for my certs - no dead pixels color a bit washed out but maybe due to problems figuring out adjustments - The color adjustment is not as straight forward as I would like - but I felt that way about my CRT may well be need to have to take a small additional time to essentially RTM

Good visuals. Even though I have a dimly lit space to begin with, any light shining on screen is dimmed down and reduced flare due to the fact of texture of the screen. Easy to use Modes toggle the settings for watching movies, playing games, etc. Wish the stand it comes on could bend down a lot more, but other than that, this monitor is a simple and helpful device.

-Bright and vibrant colors-Presets color modes are essentially beneficial-Attractive style -Speakers are a joke-The swivel action is not wonderful.-Doesn't use HDMI cable This is a good value buy (I got it for 160). It is Extremely bright, and the surface coating assists decrease glare. It has a few presets, which I really switch among depending on what I'm performing (for example, the gaming mode increases gamma, which is great for dark scenes. Image mode has beautiful contrasts. Etc). Color reproduction is fantastic, and is suitable for gaming, movies, and perform. The added screen genuine estate actually assists with multi tasking.The cons on this would be:The speakers are awful. I utilised them for a week, though I waited for my Logitech Z-300. I had my headphones on most of the time. It also does not take HDMI input. This isn't so much an concern for my pc, considering that I can nonetheless output at the max resolution, but for devices like phones with HDMI out, this may well be an concern. Also, although it is sturdy, obtaining it to swivel takes a bit of force.Overall though, I very suggest.

Ordered at noon yesterday, delivered at noon nowadays. This monitor is definitely flawless. The greatest color rendition I've observed in an LCD monitor so far. No bluring on games & no dead/stuck pixels (my biggest fear when ordering an LCD). None I didn't test the internal speakers & I have no need to - I use two sets of Yamaha speakers and a subwoofer. No monitor speakers could ever compare.

The picture on these is fine. Great size. The base is noticeably lacking. Slight desk bumps will make the monitors wobble. Not too poor, but not as sturdy as most of my other monitors. The backlights on these make an audible buzz or hum. I function in a fairly quiet environment, so I can hear them at function. If I use them on a PC with loud fans, those will commonly drown it out. If I could return them with no consuming expense, I would in a heart beat. I've had a number of monitors more than the years and have never ever been able to hear them whilst sitting at my desk. However, I am fairly sensitive to sounds, so it most likely won't bother most people.

-Was fairly inexpensive after rebate and on sale-Monitor itself looks excellent I've been searching for a monitor to obtain for college. Unfortonuately the Asus monitor did not match or even surpass my the old 22 inch Acer monitor. One leading of that it came with one dead pixel and one stucked(green) pixel. Very frustrating to say the least. I'll have to deal with it I guess.

really nice from any other asus i had,and my stand wasnt loose as others said.and no deadpixels or cracks,and pretty decent size for gaming. absolutely nothing if your believe of getting gany monitor from 20"-25" and much less than 170... this is the item you want to get.

When it worked, it was wonderful. The thing started going black for about a second, randomly. Then it just stopped working totally. I named Asus CS, they kept insisting that they sent me an email relating to my RMA, but I never ever in fact got an e-mail. One CS Rep gave me his private email so that I could let him know if there had been any further troubles, and the email doesn't actually exist.Overall, consumer service has been poor, the monitor itself failed right after only 1 month of normal use, and I can't even get an RMA due to shoddy Customer Service. None

Price, 2ms response time Stuck with 3 bright red pixels on the appropriate side of the out of the box. For any individual that writes that picture is stunning is either 1) comparing to a 2years + old LCD screen that is burn in or 2) doesn't have anything decent to compare it to side by side. Max resolution is only 1680 x 1050, quite low those days for a 22" display. Picture is extremely bright and washed out, bleeds through on the bottom and leading edge of the screen. For 10-20$ more you can have a decent Acer or even better, a accurate and trusted Samsung. I feel Asus dropped the ball on most of LCD's that Newegg provides, just read the reviews on how their LCD's create "flickering" or parts of the screen display big black/white blocks.If you do some simple math on the feedback scores, pretty much 10% of the men and women have pretty severe difficulties with them

Very nice color..a bit bright but when calibrated looks as very good as my 20 and 24in dell monitors; 16ᚲ aspect ratio Swivel only adjustment, havent tried speakers but have read that sound quality isnt really very good Like this monitor specifically for the price. Have purchased two more due to the fact for eyefinity. Quite nice as far as 22in lcds are concerned

A very nice 16ᚲ monitor for gaming. Tiny bezels would be fantastic for eyefinity. Stylish style, great colors. Rapidly response time. Arrived with 2 dead pixels. Yet this is no difficulty at all, especially with gaming; you seriously do not notice them at all unless you appear really challenging, and know where they are. Buttons effortless to use, but somewhat flimsy.Speakers not much to speak of, but work fine.

I have had this monitor given that 12ቨ񳏈, and it has been working quite well. No dead pixels however and speakers sound ok, think possibly they are going out. None so far. Quite great acquire, came with all needed cords.

Never had an Asus monitor ahead of, but I decided on this one since I really like the 16ᚲ aspect ratio; Just excellent for my gaming. I previously bought a 16ɍ samsung monitor at a nearby store and took it back simply because I hated how a lot shorter the screen was; Glad I was able to come across this little gem. Outstanding picture, and BFBC2 looks awsome at 1680x1050! Only thing that I noticed as a con is the viewing angles are not terrific, you require to be viewing the screen straight on. No huge deal...heh NO dead pixels, woot! Oh and can't forget to say...as constantly, Newegg rocks!

moved up from a 14" monitor from around 2003. This factor looks like it fills my wall. This is what I've been missing and it's amazing. Installation was a breeze and the resolution is great. Nothing but good issues to say. Not a 1 Newegg delivered much less than 24 hours immediately after I ordered it. Is there superior customer service than that?

Newegg reports this as a 1680x1050 monitor. Some video cards may possibly as well. Nevertheless If you go into your display properties and allow 1080P 񢈀X1080) this LCD displays it with no concern's. Nonetheless it won't do 75h@ 1080P only @ 60h. I've no thought why the maximum reported rez is only 1680X1050. I have three of these running in an AMD Eyefinity Config at 5760x1080 Max resolution is reported incorrectly will do 1920x1080 @ 60hz. For AMD users to enable 1080P, Open up CCC, go to desktops and displays. lower area of desktop and displays you'll see your monitor. correct click, click configure. click on the HDTV Support> Scroll down to where it says "Add 1080p60 format to the display manager (NTSC) click add, click apply.
