Cons:-Like most TN monitors, it doesn't have the greatest viewing angles-Uniformity isn't the greatest either
Pros:-No dead pixels-Very bright-Text is sharp and clear-Lots of picture adjustments and modes-Relatively inexpensive-Great brand name-Fast response time-Built in speaker-Slick looking monitor-Comes with all the necessary cables |
Overall, I'm very happy with this monitor. I preferred 16:10 because it will be mainly used for internet browsing and I thought 1080p would make text a tad too small for anything under 22".While not perfect, this monitor is definitely one of the better ones I've owned. Viewing angles are typical of a TN panel, and the uniformity, while not great, it's not bad by any means (I've seen worse). There's just a little bit of bleeding on the top and bottom of the screen although.After playing aroundwith the settings a bit, I'm currently using Theater mode with these settings:Brightness: 43Contrast: 66Sharpness: 31Saturation: 30ASCR: OffOverdrive (don't really know what this does): 60Color temp: CustomRed: 100Green: 100Blue: 95 This review was modfied by poster @ 05-04-10 01:46 AM
