I bought a AverTV Card back in 98 & it work great, so I bought the AverMedia Hybrid 2 TV Tuner and hook it up to my MSI Computer and install it and ran Windows Media Center and the Best picture I could get was a B&W picture, I cannot believe a Co. could go down hill so fast. Well its my last Aver I will ever buy. Tom

I received this product at the beginning of August 2009. I have vista 64 bits and everything is perfect. This tv tuner is the best.

Works as advertised. Easy to install. Hardware is not the top of the line, but for the price it is excellent. Software is very basic, but works.

I have windows vista 64 and I was really afraid of how this product would work. I read the instructions and the installation and setup was automatic. It works Grrrreat!

I haven't fully used it yet, but have tested it with over the air signals. I bought the tuner for my laptop so it can be my dvr while I'm at work... Cheaper than Tivo. Anyway... I find that the tuner itself feels cheaply made, but works nicely. The software isn't all that great though. I feel like I'm using something that was made twenty years ago or thrown together. Other than that is does have QAM which was hard to find in USB form for the price.

I try on my lap Hp pavilion dv-5 1119nr with windows vista home premium 64 bit. but it doesn't work properly, the time in time the sound is mute by seconds and the same with the tv. only show us 66 channels in analog and the digital system not exist. the analog signal with cable and serv. concast is poor. Don't buy it.

I bought the product because: it was QAM compatible; it has FM. I was going to rent a Verizon Digital to Analog converter for my old PC interanl TV/FM card. I got a fuzzy picture and no HD channels with the converter and my old card. This tuner gets all of the unencrypted channels and music station and HD channels. I have a switch to an FM antenna to get local FM stations. Great product! I just wish they had an SDK for C# or C++ so that I could add some tuner features (pre-sets). The Verizon Digital Converter gets returned and the savings will pay for this in 1 year.

AverMedia does not provide support for their product drivers. Check their product line yourself and see if they update their drivers regularly. Does not work with, * Microsoft Windows 2003 * Microsoft Windows 2008 Works marginally with, * Microsoft Vista Ultimate (32bit) * Microsoft XP (64bit) --- AverMedia PCI BT878, no new drivers AverMedia USB 300, no new drivers --- Calling tech support was useless. I'll be buying a Pinnacle (Avid) product next time .

I am very happy with this tv tuner card. I first bought this tuner to record tv and it works realy great. It switch from analog to numeric without a problem. The image is good and the sound is great. Thanks to the site for prompt service and delivery. Very good product.

Awesome Product.Worked instantly right out of the box. Clear Digital image & sound. On my HD Intel dual core nvidia geforce 9700 5.1 cinematic surround. Absolutely pleased beyond expectations. Great capture card function which allows to input just about any video product. my only complain is that it did not bring a remote control. Otherwise on a scle of 1-10 I would rate it an 11. As it is I will rate it a 10!

I am very impressed with the Avermedia Hybrid. I purchased it thinking that I would get a mediocre product but was amazed at the ease and good quality. I would recomend this product to anyone. I used it in a camping trip and throughout my vacation and found it to be extremely useful.

Thank you! Have this hooked up to a laptop running XP Pro. Set up was pretty easy, just install software, connect antenna, and run the channel scan. We live 25 miles away from Baltimore and we still picked up 8 channels with the included antenna. For a portable solution this is pretty good. Hook up a better antenna and we'll really be in business!

I, like other posters have tried many digital tuners, about 7 I think. This is the only one that worked right. I was truly amazed! Every single one I purchased I sent back. I was under the impression none worked. This is a fantastic tuner and a great price.

As a former ATI All-In-Wonder fan of 12+ years, I ordered two ATI AIW's, one with one defective tuner (digital) and the second with both tuners defective. Also, the software would not install on Vista Ultimate in either case. That's when I discovered this little jewel! I have everything that I need with this hardware, and the software WORKS! I use it with my desktop to record HD QAM channels, as well as the audio/video inputs to Skype with my grandchildren using my Panasonic 10MP 18X optical camera as a webcam. I also use it on my laptop at my cabin to watch OTA HD channels (8) as well as listen to FM radio. I also use the FM radio as an alarm clock in my cabin by setting the laptop to wake up at 6:30 a.m. and run the FM radio through the task scheduler. I am very impressed with the quality of the video as well as audio. (I am an electronic technician with 40+ years of experience, if that matters.) Would I recommend it? You've GOT to be kidding!

I have used many tv tuners. But this was the only one that worked exactly the way i wanted it to. Im in iraq watching AFN on my laptop right now.

The product installed without a flaw. I connected it to my cable and had no problems syncing to the channels. Connected it to my DVD player and works great.

I purchased two weeks ago. I would say, overall is satisfied Pro: Easy to install normal performance brilliant Color (very clear) Cons: Volume is very limited. Bundled software is not useful Audio Volume is very low and limited, I barely hear some channels. (Maybe I am receiving weak signal though) Other Note: Installation on XP SP3 is not problem at all. However, I encountered the issue on installing on Windows 7 RC and Windows 2003 Server running on VMWare on my Macbook. It becomes blue screen. (I did not try on Windows Vista)

This works great!! I am very happy, I have used many TV tuners, I put this on Windows 7 64bit and it scans with Media Center and finds all the hidden channels my cable co. didn't want me to know about. I get about 100 music channels now and 10 or so FREE HD channels!! I love to record in HD, it comes out perfect every time full resolution and only takes up a few gigs per show. You must use this with Media Center tho, don't even dare put the products CD in the CD-ROM tray, their software bites!

works as advertised but needs a better antenna to get station more than 15 miles away., tried several after market amplifed antennas from wally world still have not found a good one yet. if someone has a better antenna idea please let me know then this product would be out of the ball park,...great service and delivery was fast

Purchased to record television shows, easy to set up, software works as expected. Worked fine with cable boxes on Vista Professional. Recording quality is very good, make time initially to experiment with formats to get the one you want to record with as some can become very large during the data capture.
