Comment:
-Installed itself for each Linux Mint 9 and Windows 7 64 bit.-Great coverage with full speed from two rooms away. i did know about it sooner I am a laptop or computer technician, and get laptop or computer components all the time. I test each one before giving it to the customer to make sure it is not DOA, and I like this 1 way better than the one particular I had which cost my twice as much. I will be getting these for consumers from now on.i also adore linux, and was curious from reading a critique that said it did not operate with it. I only tried it with linux mint 9 so far, but it recognized it appropriate away and undoubtedly works in spite of other evaluations.

-Windows 7 recognizes it instantaneously (okay, near immediately)-Two antenna looks cooler than 1-Tiny profile indicates it takes up only its personal slot (but what wireless card doesn't these days?) -Slightly bent PCI cover for some reason. I have had to be a little rough obtaining it into two different circumstances since the PCI cover appears bent compared to the rest of the case. It is a modest matter, and almost certainly isolated to mine, but its something to believe about. I have not however had the opportunity to test the N capabilities (I run a g router,) but if you have a new router, go for yet another card considering that this is "Draft."

Pros are affordable, excellent excellent, excellent reception, a selection in between manufacturer computer software and windows for configuration of the card. I recommend this card very highly. none that i can assume of or find. There are no troubles with this card. It works flawlessly... the only issue is my lack of networking information. Due to the fact this was a replacement to a card that was dying, it took me a minute to comprehend I had to register this card's MAC address with my router simply because of the way I have my network security set up. Once i did that... every little thing flew and is still flying.

Amazing item for the cost. I got it for 19.99. I have an N wireless router so this goes nicely with that. Incredibly high speeds observed! I'm paying for an 18MB service, and wireless via the adapter I'm receiving 14-15MB, not negative! This is faster than my sling link that I previously utilized. Works on Windows 7 and I did not have to use their installation disc. None as of yet.

It worked.... kindoff Signal strength is actually bad considering routers exactly where 5 feet away. Tried quite a few of diverse antenna's to exact same effect. Tried in unique computer's running xp and one windows 7 still did not function excellent. In these very same two pc's at the very same distance my Linksys WMP54G sickly out performed this card. Did I truly just pay 20 bucks for a paper weight???

2nd 1 of these cards and they both work excellent. I appreciate items that do what they say they are going to do and do it properly. Working with both of them in a auto repair garage. They are attaching virtually full strength to a b/g/n access point over 50 feet away and through a thin wall. My client is pleased, so I am content. -1 egg for PCI mounting bracket. If I was a lot more concerned about this factor becoming moved about, it could have been a deal breaker. The PCI bracket / plate that you screw down does *not* fit the Dell machine I was attaching it to. Was too short by 2-three millimeters. I had to *ahem* adjust it so it would supply sufficient support to preserve the card from rattling out of the socket. Could be actual bad for some folks, just inconvenient for me. To sum up: Wonderful card, poor bracket.

Quite cheap. It works sometimes. Not able to hold a stable connection 30 feet away from an N-router where laptops have no difficulty at all. It will work fine for a little though then it will start dropping packets or dropping the connection altogether ahead of coming back again. I live in the boonies with no doable sources of interference nearby. Latest drivers did make a little bit of a distinction, now becoming able to hold a connection for up to 15 minutes at a time just about every now and then, despite the fact that the speeds nonetheless alter from one second to the subsequent between 40-108 mbps. I would not suggest this item. I will devote a little added money subsequent time and get a greater product.

It's a wireless card. Plug it in, install the drivers (Windows 7 will recognize do it automatically), and off you go.Holds connection without having fail. It just works, what far more could you want? None If you are far away from the router or have signal troubles, attempt finding the Rosewill RNX-A5-EX High Acquire Antenna. My computer is farthest away from the router so it gets poor signal with the provided antennas. Hooked up the Rosewill and went from 1 bar to four-five bars continuously.

Nice cost. Works decent if all you'd like to do is internet browse Get what you pay for. I got this so i could get my friends Comcast so i could finally game in college. This adapter works good, then entirely drops to a bar, then immediately after a number of minutes will shoot back up and start operating fine, which is unacceptable. The wireless router i am accessing is proper across from my room, LITERALLY ten feet away. Manufacturer Response:Dear User,I agree with you that is unacceptable efficiency. Cheap and it truly works. N will not engage. Reception is terrible even with two antennas. Forget about file transfer! Will let do only light browsing. Not friendly with other devices, such as the Asus adapter I bought this with. Pay much more, get additional! Manufacturer Response:Dear User,Thank you for buying our AWD102N. For improved reception / performance with this item we suggest using WPA2-PSK AES for your network security protocol. Also in order to engage N you will need to have an N router capable of channel bonding mode. Check to see if your router is capable of this by going into Wireless Settings -> Basic. Under Channel Bandwidth check to see if it’s set to 20. Pick 20ኄ solution to get your speed up to 300Mbps.Below are a couple of links to the latest drivers of this product, along with some reading about 'channel bonding mode'.Let us know if you need to have more aid,AZIO Consumer CareExternal Link(s): Chipset Driver RT2760 Download| AZIO Product Driver Download| How Can I Get 300 Mbps Speed|

Quickly card. Able to stay connected for weeks at a time without reboots. Works excellent with Windows XP SP3. Also worked with Ubuntu Linux ྪ.04) on an additional desktop. Dual antennas are can block other ports if angled improperly. I bought this over a year ago so that we could move our wireless router away from our desktop to a much more centralized location. Following more than a year of use, and no troubles that I can keep in mind, I'm thoroughly impressed.

Works well. Effortless Installation. Excellent configuration tool. Doesn't come with an ethernet port. (I think the network PCI card must have came with wireless and wired connection) Enjoy the configuration tool by Azio. It gives a lot more details and options than Microsoft's default tool.

Installed into a brand new develop and Windows 7 had already installed the driver. Hooked up to my Belkin N router as effortless as if it was a laptop. I didn't install any extra wireless software program due to the fact W7 handles it so nicely anyway. I don't know about how rapidly it can transfer files over the network (computer to pc), but the web broadband speed tests were specifically as fast as my wired pc ྶMb/s down, 5Mb/s up). None at all. I would obtain an additional in a heartbeat. If only every thing was as simple as Newegg and Windows 7.

Roadrunner modem and the signal is incredibly consistent of the package I have 20Mbps Wish it had an extended antenna to get a better signal. DO IT!! Really Excellent DEAL!!

It somewhat worked even though it was alive. It took a whilst to get it to truly begin working and the GUI provided was so horrible I utilized windows as my connection utility. As soon as I got it working, it didn't have several issues.AIzO customer support was incredibly superior, and took the time to support me when I had to contact them. Despite the dual antennae, it had much less of a signal distance than my laptop that is 3 years older than it with no external antenna. The signal strength and speed also fluctuated randomly Ɠ to five bars, then back to 3 etc., speed from 150 to 103 to 54 back to 103 then 150 etc.).Died nearly 1 yea and one month right after ordering. Best timing with a 1 year warranty. It was certain about what networks it would connect to, and I had to get in touch with AIzO customer support multiple times due to the fact of that. Most of the time I had to change settings on the router to make the card pleased ahead of it would function. The GUI provided was quite clunky to me and I couldn't stand utilizing it. If I could trust that the card would last longer, I'd almost certainly order a second one, but manufacturers know how to make lasting merchandise, and it's disheartening to see this die less than one month right after the warranty expired. The Intel card in my laptop has been going strong for 4+ years with no problems whatsoever.
