Works great, just passing the 6-month mark!Has all the cables I needed for my most recent gaming technique.Virtually no noise (compared to the rest of the program). Fits well in my ANTEC 1200 Case & Matches the theme as well. Looks really powerful *because it is*. Got an i7 or i5 or possibly something snazzy by AMD, and a great gfx card? This is the provide for you - but only if you have a case that will fit it. This is a Big NON-ATX POWER Provide and will NOT operate in a regular non-antec ATX situation. Please do your study to come across out if your ANTEC case has the removable bracket to assistance this Bigger-THAN-Average power provide. Exceptional supply, completely superb, got rid of my power difficulties related to purchasing supplies that weren't Antec. Large CP form-element indicates it's cool and quiet as the components inside are spread out more-so than on a normal ATX power supply. I enjoy the cost/performance ratio of this power provide to no end. If you have the case that fits this, I can\'t pressure adequate to make sure you DON'T skimp on the power provide. A poor power provide will make your computer miserable!

I have 2 Antec 1200 instances with these and they run flawless. My son's has a GTX 295 with q9650, 790 ultra, etc. I am working with a AMD 265 with crossfire 4890's and MSI 790fx GD70. PSU does not have cooler exposed at leading to ensure no objects fall inside PSU. operates only with choose Antec circumstances. Unless you need to have 1000w or larger this is a ought to have with the matching Antec instances. If you want a regular atx size then get the Antec 1000 quadro or a corsair 1000w. Both are good PSU's. The corsair will run 3 4890's. AMD puts the PSU calulator on their site and so does Antec.

So far so excellent. Becoming half modular certainly cuts out some of the junk inside the situation. Can't wait to sli two gtx 480s with this. Not 100% modular, but you come across that the cords you can't take out of the power provide are going to all be applied anyways so it's not a big deal. Certainly a very good purchase. Lovely in my antec 1200 case.

For the income this is the very best psu you can by; if you have a case that fits it*FITS older ANTEC P180 with minimal modification! None that I've identified If much more of the cables exactly where modular, it would help with wire management. Not seriously a bad point, I'm just picky lol

Antec just keeps obtaining far better! I was running an Antec 900 with a Gigabyte GA-EP45T Extreme Motherboard and the Antec 650W Tru-Power Trio, but the Thermaltake V1 CPU cooler touched the 120mm case side fan when the side cover went on and the Radeon HD 4870 video card was still creating the northbridge run a small too hot. I switched to the Antec 1200 and this new 850W power supply is a lot more then I even expected. It has the modulare style so I can plug in even more cables/connectors as necessary even even though I am only useing the ones challenging wired already and not even all of them. The further snap-in cables already came with it so you can power multiple video cards, several CPU's and additional SATA's and fans and sound cards than could ever fit in my 12 bay case! It's just unbelievable... None! The 120mm fan is automatically speed controlled and with all the other fans ྯ total) the power supply fan is just barely turning even although gaming!

I bought this with my antec 1200 and given that then i've rebuilt my computer system again. I nonetheless have all the important connectors i need for my new pc and sufficient power for what ever i throw at it. This is sort of my fault, but i wish there was superior cable management. In the near future i'm most most likely going to get another XFX HD 5870 and this power provide is crossfire prepared which im thankful for, since when i initially bought it i never believed id be using an ATI card.

A good power provide with a sturdy feel and design. The fan placement tends to make additional sense for cooling off the elements than the normal 90 degree fan placement. Plenty of on-board cables for running something in your tower. no real cons, just one particular difficulty. read beneath. This PSU ONLY fits 3 antec instances appropriate now. I did not read this when i bought it for my antec 300 case and to be honest out of all the Pc's I have built the power provide is not something I read in depth about when it comes to fit. I did have to order the antec truepower 750 for my case but decided to keep the CP-850 regardless as i can use it to run Pc's I am operating on or I can use it when i determine to construct my media server

This power supply fits nicely inside my antec twelve hundred case and powers all of the fans, motherboard, tough drive, graphics card, and also my super multi dvd burner that I have in my tower! None that I can assume of except if you don't get the circumstances that are specified then it won't fit with no substantial modifications as it is really a large power provide.

I operate for a computer organization and we use a lot of energy supplies. I have applied this PSU in numerous computer systems and I am absolutly astounded at how good a power provide this is.It's completly quiet for starters, and I have however to see one particular fail. I have utilised and messed about with about 20 or a lot more CP-850 PSU and I have in no way noticed a challenge with them or a complaint. This is by far a excellent item. I wish I could use it in a P-182 but it doesn't bother me. It have to be difficult for Antec when people don't bother to study the specs for this provide and write a negative evaluation about it mainly because they were an idiot and didn't see that it was only for specific Antec cases.WAKE UP!!!

Antec CP-850 850W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply

Fits nicely inside an Antec P183. The hybrid cable method is really nice due to the fact I did not need to have all of them. It tends to make you use adapters you may well not use like the four pin molex to SATA adapters. A tiny preparing may possibly cut down on a cable or two to maintain factors cleaner and cooler. You can constantly add them later if you get a second GPU or add some HDD or opticals or whatnot. The PWM works well so that it barely spins at idle but gets going fast below load. There is a straight-by means of air flow instead of the often found correct-angle air-flow patterns in many PSUs. It is fascinating to pick up a PSU and be in a position to see daylight when seeking straight by means of, which makes me believe it will run cooler. As everyone talked about, it only fits in choose Antec instances like the P183. It is massive and heavy so there is reasonably much less space in the case. Could it be made smaller with the fan inside the enclosure for example? But we knew it was huge and would only fit a few situations so there is nothing poor to say about it. I prefer a single amp 12V rail like the Corsair but it's not too vital in contemporary systems as far as I can tell as extended as you have adequate amperage amongst the multiple 12V rails. I like it but it certain is large and the situations have not enlarged so some of my space is gone. Will the superior air-flow make up for the bigger size? It will make it tougher to fit fans and so forth. Also in spite of the Antec brand name, this is new and the PSU is really important. I employed this in the P183 and can't say if the cables would reach in the full tower circumstances that accommodate this PSU.This build included the P183, CP-850, Intel i7 920 OC to 3.8 GHz on air, EVGA E758-TR SLI x58, EVGA GTX275, GSkill 3x2g, V8 cooler, whilst the prior construct had related internals inside a Coolermaster HAF 932 with a Corsair 850TX PSU.

Incredibly very good energy supply. I like that it comes with some modular connections which allow you to lessen clutter inside the case. Plenty of connectors on this thing. General a really nicely built PSU with a nice big quite fan on the front! Nothing at all seriously Please be sure you have on the of the instances listed in the description. I goofed up and didn't check... luckily my antec P180 will home this power provide if you tear out the "platform" that the PSU sits on in the bottom of the case. It won't fit otherwise and is a lot bigger then the standard ATX size.

Employed the SG-850 in "Son No. two's" s make , CP-850 in four builds because. Wonderful PSU .... Fantastic performance ... Sooooo quiet. Much less than 1% voltage variations below load on 50% CPU OC's in SLI boxes making use of OCCT Newegg .... get on the ball and put this in combos that it works with. This PSU is CPX from aspect and only fits in Antec 1200, DF-85, P193 and P183 .... cease combo'ing w/ Lian Li and Antec 900 series .... and please put it with DF-85 as I got about 6 builds waiting for the B3 stepping boards from Asus and that's the combo that will sell.

Simple, effortless, easy! Cables were set up Exactly proper for my construct, applied zero modular cables for neat, simple, install. Has two separate PCIE cables, on diverse rails, for your mondo video cards in crossfire. Has a exclusive, open style to enhance airflow. Has a Seriously quiet fan. This PSU is designed to fit a particular, limited number of Antec circumstances, on of which I happened to obtain. Not certain how nicely this unit would work in other cases.
