Who knows? Title says it all. Except now I read on-line that 15% of these apparently arrive DOA. Not happy. 񘐜 worth of other components just sitting on my desk. I comprehend product failure but DOA is substantially much less understandable.

This is my second time shopping for this ps, one at perform one at residence, and it is by far the quietest and most dependable ps ive ever had. The cables are a lot long to route behind the mobo tray with ease. It will deal with pretty considerably anything with out even a blip on the voltage meter As lengthy as you have the correct case for this factor, there's a big fat zero cons. Its pretty fundamental looking, just satin black, but you can tell when you pick it up that it has some weight to it and the create quality is quite great. If you have an Antec 1200, this ought to be on your next order list!

This factor is huge! Nice and quiet with a lot of cables. If you aren't satisfied with this then your machine need to be outrageous! None Be positive your case takes this form factor. It will not fit in the space allotted for a regular ATX supply.

Wonderful case, plenty of operate space, nice cable management system, fairly blue lights. None Didn't want to try to figure out how to fit a diverse model power supply, so I went with the advised Antec model 850W.

Haven't really put it under any severe strain, but handles my OC'd i7 930 at 4.0Ghz with no troubles along side my OC'd 5770 which utilizes a laughable amount of power compared to alot of other cards. Difficult to say how very good it truly is given that i havent carried out anything that may remotely pressure it, But functions excellent for me so far! Comment:
Last four high end builds employed this PSU. Not a single hiccup. Whisper quiet, stable, cool. New CPX footprint so outclasses ATX, this is about all I think about for heavyweight i7 builds. Lengthy live the new CPX normal. None for this PSU. It's a shame most cases can't accomodate it. I give two strikes to any non-CPX case for high finish builds. This is absolutely amongst the quite ideal PSUs at any cost but it is so affordable, the PSU/Case combo becomes the best value in the market. Choose this PSU and the Antec case that meets your needs and rest assured you will have performed quite nicely. I hope other instances appear soon. A lower wattage (even quieter) CPX and Property Theater certain case is a very good region for Antec to explore.

Wow what a PSU. Just made a new create and almost everything works with no a hitch. Energy is distributed with out and hiccups. Saw some wonderful reviews on youtube and given that I have an Antec 1200 I went appropriate for this negative boy and really happy I did. Its friggin enormous Antec I think has the correct notion if it catches on. The hardware in the PSU is positioned opposite to each other bottom to top. This allows that huge 120mm fan to push significant amounts of air via the inside giving maximum cooling with no loud fan noise.EVGA X58 SLI LECore I7 2.66Geforce 9800gtx8800gt for physicsthree Samsung Spinpoints 320 in Raid 5Patriot Viper 6GB DDr3 1600Samsung SH-S223C

Appears it would have been a wonderful powersupply. Really like the Modular setup with the cords. A lot of power for you SLI and Crossfire and added storage devices. Well here is exactly where I created my bad. Its not an ATX PSU which I failed to notice, so I had to RMA it. Its extremely huge and developed with specific instances in mind. Be careful of this and don't order too hastily like I did =( As stated I didn't actually use this power supply. I am writing this assessment only with hopes somebody can discover from my mistake and not have to wait additional time to build their method due to incompatibility with most regular circumstances.

Super Quiet, Works As Says!!! I didnt pay attention about the form factor due to the fact it was about 3am when I finnaly got to order all my parts but thats not a con its my fault, but amasingly it still fit into my antec 902 case due to the modest mother board and a few lengthy screws on the reverse side of the mother board tray (as if it were developed for the antec 902 aswell)! Make a large warning sign about the size and formfactor.

Looks nice. Almost certainly works great. This is not a standard size power supply but Newegg does not have that clearly marked on the main page as it really should. Save yourself the added expense and time and make certain it will fit in your case ahead of you purchase. I understand it was my haste that led me to this incorrect buy but it genuinely must be more clearly marked on the web page.

This has got to be the quietest power supply I have ever had. Plenty of length for the power cords. Did I mention how quiet it was??? Only fits into 3 specific Antec situations but I got it into my P182 without mtch complications. Just had to drill out a couple of rivets and some new screw mounting holes and it works good! Only about 20 minutes of work.

Fits the 1200 case fantastic, good cable managment and had lots of connections for everything I needed. It was DOA, power flicked on for a nano second and also fried my motherboard. sent it back for an RMA a week ago and still waiting on the replacement. Manufacturer Response:Hopefully your RMA went through with out a hitch. As much as we wish this wasn't the case, products do arrive DOA from time to time. Amazing PSU for the cost. If you have 1 of the few circumstances that this PSU is developed for, I would highly suggest this PSU. nothing Like other people have usually stated, this is NOT a standard PSU. This PSU was created by Antec and only fits a couple of of their circumstances.RigAMD 1090T (at 4ghz)MSI 870A Fuzion MB8gb Ɣ X 2GB) Ripjaws 16002 X 4870 1 GB (crossfireꂨGB SSD Crucial1 TB samsung HDDAntec 1200Antec CP-850

Plenty of power for my system. Designed specifically for specific Antec instances which includes mine (Antec 1200) which main installation a snap. Modular style makes adding stuff on later simple. Was able to plug in a separate set of cables for the case fans when I ran out. Huge. Takes up a big chunk of genuine estate, which is probably why its only created for particular massive circumstances. This factor could in all probability power a modest city, in addition to your technique. Why Antec would want to go and try and alter the normal from ATX to CPX is beyond me, but additional energy to them.

Large (which I knew from researching beforehand), wonderful airflow, extremely quiet fan. None Slight "new electronics" smell when initially opened from box, but not at all noticeable right after installation or throughout use. I'll probably by no means use this to it's capacity, but it's great to know I've got lots of room to grow into.

Antec CP-850 850W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Cons: None.

Pros: Includes a good amount of connected and modular cables.
Comment:
Excellent value. Very large power supply, make sure your case has the space for it. Antec cases usually do, just make sure. The size makes cooling so effective that it operates much cooler and quieter then my old 450 watt PSU. Partially modular design is fine by me. In my build I used every permanently attached cable but needed none of the modular ones. If I get more hard drives or a second graphics card down the road I will then have the modular cables to work with, but they are out of the way for now which is perfect. (I used an Antec DF 85, Core i7 950, MSI GTX 460 HAWK, ASUS Sabertooth X58 motherboard, two HDD drives and a DVD drive). As I understand it this is an open standard for size. It would be nice to see this catch on with other companies. I plans on reusing this PSU and case for future builds though so realistically it doesn't matter to me.
