The motherboard in my gaming pc has a heat-pipe that visits the northbridge, southbridge, and mosfet heatsinks. They are cooled passively by the air flowing off the cpu heatsink. In the event that you liquid cool your system there is a big bulky fan thats supposed to clip on to the heatsink. In my case this fan couldnt be mounted due to my radiator being mounted internally directly over the heatsink. This created a dead spot for airflow in the case, and a northbridge temp of 130C. This little guy solved all my problems. And the leds match my Antec 1200.

it was cheap so i figured i would give it a shot. leds are brightalthough i could do without and put some tape over them. the blade housing is flexible plastic and can rub easy and make noise. however it does have multiple speeds and when i shortend the shaft it works really well at keeping bridge cool with ultra 120 not moving air over. it looks decent compared to some home made stuff so i might actually say i would buy again.

it was good until a few days ago when it made clicking sounds so just chucked it out. worth it if nothing went wrong with it.

Was a great fan until about a week ago. Started making clicking noises, even louder than my hard drives.For $8, I just tossed it out. Not worth my time.I'm guessing it's due to the sleeve bearing.

I was very impressed with how handy this is. I use it to cool the mosfets on my x58 sli. They dropped 10C. The leds match my antec 1200 perfectly. It is also bigger than I thought. Good product, does what it supposed to. Was expecting something a little smaller, but may not be an issue for everyone. Virtually unnoticable on low or medium speed setting. Needs a longer power cable, but overall, a good item.

It is a great cooling soluation for the case interior, its flexible mounting lets it to placed almost any place you want, and turning it to the angle you desire.Its fan speeds are solid, and you can see it change clearly in BIOS control. Even on high the noise is moderate, with case closed it won't be a distration for you.But you need to know that the fan strength is not as strong as your case fan even on high, due to its smaller diamter of 70mm, and sometimes it can be trcicky to turn the fan angle to the place you want it to be, if you got a small case and full hardwares.Another issue is about its power supply, as it is only using the borad fan port, if you only have front&rear fan port, and they are already in use, it won't be worth so to change one of your intake/outtake fan for this one.However if you got a free fanport, you should find this handy, place it in a "heat pocket" you can expect the whole case to breath better due to additional air flow.The LEDs will shine a little extra into your case if you are into case customization.Overall it is a worthy choice for its price/performance ratio, and it will also add that little extra style into your rig. This fan is great for cooling down things that are usually in bad positions for intake fans. Great for cooling ram and video cards.

the best thing about this fan is the flexibility it provides. I have as asus mobo and the north bridge uses the heat sink attached to the heat pipes to cool. When I OC my sli ram, they go nuts so I need spot cooling, because my cpu sink takes so much room i can't mount a 40mm anymore, so this is the only option i can find. for the price, this thing is not loud at all (under the low-med setting anyways, and the mounting is very flexible, you can mount it anywhere in your case.

Use this to provide additonal cooling to my mobo chipset, works wonders, dropped the temp by about 5 degrees.So easy to install to, had it up and running in minutes, plus the blue LEDs go nice with my case.

Great little fan for cooling memory or NB/SB or memory. Very easy to install and the flexible shaft makes orientating the fan very easy, so changing the position of the fan it nice and quick. It looks good with the blue LED and its good for the price, recommended.

good fan to use in any place and is reasonably quiet when needed to be. using it on my northbridge to replace the nvidia screamers. the spot cool is much quieter and still provides sufficient cooling to its intended place. just wish you could turn of the leds although.

Bought this to help cool a Northbridge. The only thing I don't like about this is the LED brightness - too much! But this is a preference, not a weakness. I may just snip them off as I'm putting in green cold cathodes.

Bough one of these to cool rams. Led are blue, good match for antec cases. The fan does push a lot of air. But its get when past medium settings

I keep mine set at medium blowing over my graphics card and dropped the temps by ~8 degrees. On high its a bit loud for me but that's due to the fact that I've replaced all my stock case fans with Noctua P-12's and GELID Slient 9's.

This is an amazing product. Will get air flowing anywhere you find a hotspot or dead air zone in your case. Its Silent operation allows you to run it at max speed without worrying about excessive fan noise. Its versatile design allows you to mount and position the fan virtually anywhere inside your case.

This small addon fan is very handy,its very useful.I like the design cuz I can place it anywhere i want,. airflow is quiet good too,blue leds even better.

I got this fan because I noticed there was a hot spot near my expansion slots. First I tried it on the lowest setting, noticed very little movement, but on the highest it works wonders. Don't notice any sound difference either, a very quiet, exceptional product.

Bought 1 a year ago when i first got my 8800gt now that ive gone watercooled i decided to get 2 more to keep my videocard cool as well my Motherboard.

This makes for an excellent fan for those hard to reach places or cooling OC'ed ram. It would be nicer if the flexible stalk was a bit longer but as it can be attached to any screw, this can be placed almost anywhere. I game with my headphones on so noise isn't an issue so I just put it on high.
