Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Did not buy from NCIX :(

Pros:NON-CONDUCTIVE! No Cure Time Required. Easy to apply.
Comment:
Excellent product. NON-CONDUCTIVE! No Cure Time Required. Easy to apply. Better than stock TIM that came with my Corsair A70 by 2-3*C. I paired this up with Arctic Clean TIM remover and surface purifier and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended for new users and experienced users alike. Don't have to worry if you get some on other MB components as it is NON-CONDUCTIVE!Would definitely purchase again if needed.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:none

Pros:Was cheap on sale. Acceptable cooling
Comment:
I am a long time user of Ceramique and thought I'd try this out when it was on sale as it has had many good reviews. I can't complain about it's cooling performance but I'm not really impressed either. I'll stick with my Ceramique.

I've never used thermal paste before, but I had no trouble applying this to my 2500k and hyper 212+. I seem to get great temperatures but I have nothing to compare it to.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:messy if you get it on clothes

Pros:works as advertised
Comment:
This thermal paste is fantastic. I've been using arctic silver for years and never looked back. It offers a great way to get additional cooling for your processors and even GPUs without doing much work. This allows you to overclock even better, but more importantly for me, it lowers the idle temperature as well, which results in offices and bedrooms not heating up quite as much, as well as slightly quieter computers from the fans not having to spin as fast.Plus each tube can last for multiple CPU installs. I think it's around 10 right now. So that brings the price per application right down...bonus!

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Will probably use it just once or twice before it goes bad.

Pros:It works as expectedIt's cheap
Comment:
Trying this for the first time and it works just like the similar products from other companies. It's 4 grams but you really don't even need 1.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Worse than generic paste

Pros:Nice packaging (not really a pro but I have to type something here)
Comment:
I have been building PCs for 2 decades and bought a tube just to satisfy my curiosity as there are so many favorable reviews out there. I have been working with my pretty hot AMD ZM-84 Acer for days trying to lower the loaded core temp which peaked at 86C with Linpack. With TX-2 & AS-5 it always hits 86C at 10mins. With MX-2, it took only 5mins. Now the most surprising part, I tried the white generic paste (Evercool EC350-TU15) that came with some cheap heatsinks I bought years ago and it max out at 82C. The results speak for themselves.2 * only (but the system won't let me cos it was a walk-in sale and I don't have OrderID). This review was modfied by poster @ 05-05-11 10:18 PM

I'm not all that experienced with these pastes but I've used this one along side a few others and so far this one has kept my cpu's the coolest of them all. Hopefully they can stay in storage for a while okay ^^

Cons:- none

Pros:- excellent performance- applies easily- wont short out your components
Comment:
more praise for this excellent thermal paste. applies easily and being non electrical conductive means your expensive components won't short out if you get some on them. unless you can get mx-4 cheaper, for the price it can't be beat.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:None

Pros:It does bring down the temps
Comment:
I used the pea-drop  method, and so I have lots left. Using this method and paste, I was able to bring down my Phenom II x3 710 (which is OC'd to 3.25GHz with unlocked cores) 3C. Non-conductive, always good.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:took long time to get in stock

Pros:great thermal pasteSmiley method works the best
Comment:
Bought this when it was on sale at 3.99 but it took nearly a month for them to get it back in stock which sorta sucked having to wait that long but I was in no rush, This is a great product and I find you get a great spread when you make a small smiley face on the cpu before applying it, some say to use the pea method but I find you just don't get enough thermal paste that way. I used to just lather the cpu up a bit before placing the HSF but then I seen that air bubbles get trapped in there and no longer do that (I did in my first 2 builds and was shocked) so I expect to get better temps with my AMD HTPC build with this :D

This paste worked well if my Silenx Effizio and OCZ Gladiator heatsinks. I tried this paste with my stock cooler and noticed a difference so I used it on my aftermarket coolers too.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:None

Pros:PriceNon conductiveEasy to apply
Comment:
Maybe not the greatest one around, but it is easy to apply, and does a very nice job. The difference between this and anything considered much better is VERY small in terms of temps achieved.I hate the conductive ones.. I've used this one, MX-2, and the Artic Alumina and Ceramique. They all have decent performance. And at the < $4 it cost me when it was on sale, it is best bang for the buck. To get anything "slighly" better, you are looking at at least 4 times the price, and probably a pain to apply.Would definately buy again.

Pros:Clean.Easy to manage.Does the job.
Comment:
Overall, this is excellent thermal paste, NON CONDUCTIVE, and is very clean and easy to add to any C.P.U. and heat sink. It has done the job for my rig, and I re apply it once a year just to renew the paste as maintenance. All in all, perfect.

Pros:Easy to apply, very good price, tried tested and true
Comment:
I see no real difference between mx-2, mx-3 or mx-4 so I just go with the old faithful mx-2 every time. Use for laptop and desktop processors and GPU's. Can pickup during weekly sales for a very good price. Have been using MX-2 for 3 years now and will continue to support the product in the future.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:none.

Pros:-non conductive-decent sized tube-$4 on sale-high performance stuff-non curing-outperforms the old arctic silver
Comment:
I've been using this stuff for a while and I couldn't resist when I saw it on sale at NCIX for $4. I've used my first tube at least 4 or 5 times and I still have about 50% left.Apparently, it is better than AS3 that everyone has been using for years. And to boot, it has no cure time and is non-conductive.I've thought about using MX-3 or MX-4 but it's more expensive and supposedly doesn't provide much of a temperature decrease. Plus, the MX-2 flows the easiest. Not to thin, not too thick.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:None

Pros:Inexpensive, easy to work with, long life expectancy
Comment:
Despite MX-3, MX-4 and other more expensive options being available I still find I use this stuff quite often. Especially when a tube is so cheap PMed.I have used this on everything from highly OCed Core iSeries and e5200s to ancient undervolted Celeron Ms. I've used it on an old iMac G4 (desk lamp) and on several Macbook HSFs (really helps these cuts down fan noise) and just about every north/southbridge I've touched..In every case the temps have come down. For this price a little peace of mind knowing that I've removed the gobs of cheap OEM compound is well worth it.
