Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Too thin imo.

Pros:Performance, easy to remove, non conductive.
Comment:
I usually never use the same paste for too long, and when my old paste (OCZ freeze) ran out I moved onto this. Now as far as performance goes it is right in line with any top stuff I have used, but I prefer the pastes that are slightly thicker as I find them easier to dispense and work with such as the Noctua paste. Overall though I would buy again, the easy cleanup is appreciated.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:None that I have found.

Pros:Easy application, east cleanup and great heat transfer.
Comment:
I am a TIM 'junkie' and have dozens of various types in my drawer. My standard TIM was AS Ceramique, with which I was quiet satisfied, at least until I tried MX-2. The MX-2 is less viscous than Ceramique and tends to spread more easily. I have found that a drop  the size of a grain of rice, placed in the middle of the CPU will give the most effective coverage. It is NOT necessary to pre-spread the TIM over the entire surface of the CPU. MX-2 is non-toxic to humans and cleans up easily with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. As far as heat transfer is concerned, MX-2 is the best I have ever used. For me, this is the perfect TIM.

Cons:None

Pros:CheapEffective
Comment:
This is simply another TIM but one that works as advertised. It's easy to apply and great if you plan on re-applying your heatsink multiple times or just good if you screw up the first install with the included TIM.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Read below

Pros:Easy to applyGood quantityGood price (PMed)
Comment:
Unlike what I have read, I did not had any troubles applying this thermal paste. It was quite cheap after price match and you get plenty for what you can want.I don't know if I was expecting too much or if its my room which is too warm because of the summer, but I am hardly seeing any improvements in temps... With that being said, the fact my room is actually warmer means I am getting better temps. I am still satisfied with the product, but its probably that I was expecting to see a real drop  in temp under load with my OCZ Vendetta II.

Pros:Very effectiveCheapEasy of use
Comment:
This product is the best for its price. DO NOT FORGET TO PRICEMATCH, like i did. IT is really cheap, and you cannot go wrong for it. Take this if you need thermal compund for cpu and gpu heatsinks. Do not buy it if you got other compound coming with an heatsink, other compounds are fine, the MX-2 is not necessary, buy it if you have no more other compound, though.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Environmental effects?

Pros:Good PerformanceInexpensive
Comment:
I used this compound on the stock AMD AM2 and Intel 775 socket cpu heatsinks and the OCZ Vendetta 2.This thermal compound came highly recommended by many of the online hardware websites. As far as cooling goes, with the Intel CPU, there was a 2 degree (celcius) heat loss on that CPU by changing the stock compound to this product. Recommended for mostly all users with experience replacing heatsinks / anyone who wants a better HSF compound.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:Check to make sure you need this before buying.

Pros:My heat sink fan came pre-applied with this paste and it works wonderfully.
Comment:
I decided to upgrade my CPU and I bought this paste to use. This was the first time I did a CPU upgrade or even install a CPU for that matter. I ended up not needing this paste because the new heat sink fan I bought had this paste pre-applied. The stock heat sink fan unit also had thermal paste pre-applied too (I don't know if the stock heat sink fan uses this same paste though). My advice would be to check to make sure the heat sink fan you are using comes with thermal paste before buying one.

Pros:Really easy to apply No cure timeNot conductive
Comment:
I apply it to my CPU and my graphic card, it lower by a few degree. It really easy to clean unlike the stock paste and it doesn't require a cure time. It still is one of the best thermal paste in the market.

Cons:-not the cheapest paste

Pros:-Cooling-Non conductive
Comment:
One of the names commonly cited in forums for TIM and for good reason. I have had good experiences using the MX-2. Far better performance than the stock paste. The styringe has enough for several applications, but be careful when you use it for the first time as it splurts out quickly.

Comment:
I have not compared this to as5 yet for the i7 920 so not sure which one is better but seems to be doing it's job. The i7 920 runs really hot regardless of what you use. Not very high OC on mine at 3.8 with stock volts but can get up to 69-71 full load on linx and around 65-67 on prime 95. Very easy to clean compared to as5 though from the times i had to reinstall my u120e.

I only used the smallest drop, it snugly fit the CPU and heatsink like magic. This stuff rocks! Running my Intel Q6600 at 29C, even cooler than the ASUS P5Q Pro at 35C.

This is the best thermal grease I've ever used. My q8400 with stock cooling idles at about 30C, which seems pretty good to me. It's very conservatively priced, and there is enough for several installs.

Cons:none

Pros:Really easy to apply and spread on cpu/chipset, A good price/quality ration, No curing time, pretty liquid.
Comment:
Be careful when you use the tube for the first time, since it is pretty liquid, you might put a little bit to much. But it is pretty easy to clean up. Used the product to apply a cpu cooler, and I have enough to change the thermal compound many other times. I can't say how many but more then 4.

Comment:
Used a small amount only for the i7 920 CPU and it worked wonders. Used it since the beginning so I have not much to compare it to, but I hear they are supposed to run really hot when overclocked... not this one. Great product!
