Very Quiet and Cool!!!
Comment:
This is my first build with a Dual Core E8200. This fan lowered my internal temps 20 degrees and the cpu temps 10-13 degrees! This fan was easy to install with the mounting brackets. I have this in an Explorer case and allows plenty of room for installation. Even with 5 case fans installed, my temps did not lower until I installed this fan. I highly recommend this fan for the quality, cooling efficiency and ease of installation.

This thing keeps your cpu very cool, its huge and you have alot of air passing very quickly through it. When I got it i had to switchout the stock cpu mount but was very easy to reinstall the one provided. Its a very quite for the size, I would buy again.

Excellent product
Comment:
The instructions were clear, it went on easily, and it keeps my Phenom X4 running nice and cool. It's also very quiet. I can barely hear it running, which is a nice change from the 'airplane motor' cooler in my old Athlon box.

Excellent product at a reasonable price. Sorry it is no longer available. Installation instructions could be improved. Need to mark the airflow direction on the top of the cooler.

MASSIVE FAN and low cost
Comment:
For $40.00, I immediately added to my purchase. The one thing I didn't check was the measurements within my case! I have this fan on a Gigabyte MB with an AMD proc. When I had everything installed, I powered it on and immediately shut off because I heard nothing from my fans. To my amazement, they were running full speed and very quiet. I didn't want to buy another CPU. The best fan, JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE ROOM IN YOUR CASE. I clears with a half inch to spare! Lucky me!

Love it
Comment:
Instructions are nominal... the pictures can be confusing to look at.. but the install is pretty straight forward.. be careful when installinh. I made the mistake of installing it with the fan blowing opposite the rear exhaust, its a pain cause u have to pull the motherboard to change the orientation.

Awesome
Comment:
This is a massive cooler but it works great. Max temp is 99F while multi-tasking 3-4 programs at once. Remember to install the fans in the same direction (blow or pull) with relative case fan. I did have a problem with the screws for the bracket not threading correctly, so I had to grind them to half the size to make it work.

FROSTY!!
Comment:
This bad boy keeps my i5 from feeling the heat, running things to the max the highest I ever seen it go was 47 that's it. Make sure you install this cooler right so air blows out the back. The words cooler Master should not appear upside down after you have mounted it to your board.

Very Quite and Very Cool... Cannot say much more than that. Fans that work as expected are the unsung heros that keep the heat down.

Super Cool! No more overheating!
Comment:
The Processor 6400 Dual Core 95 Watt on this PC is rated for a highest temperature of 63 degrees celsius, It was hitting as much as 88 degrees celsius on Maxed Out end, and then shutting down my pc on a regular basis. This Cooler along with a little freeze, Dropped my temps tremendously! My post install temps are now an incredible 29 degrees celsius Idle temp, and a high temp of only 53 degrees celsius! I couldn't get temps any higher, no matter what I ran or did. no stuff! Amazing! Simply Amazing! Expect to get at least a 15 degrees drop from this product alone. I am guessing you'll get a much better drop than that, but wouldn't want you to be disappointed if that didn't happen. My temps dropped between 32 and 48 degrees! Remember, that I also used a bit of freeze, which I am assuming gave me around 10 degrees of those totals. Very nice piece of hardware. I highly recommend it, especially on a budget!

so much colder then OEM fan
Comment:
I have a QX6850 Core2Quad Extreme CPU. Using the OEM heatsink i was getting around 70-80o celcius under heavy cpu load. With the CoolerMaster n520 I am running about 35-40o in the same conditions. Side note: This does require a back plate to go under the motherboard. This is much better then the plastic snaps from an OEM fan. The downside is that you will have to remove your entire motherboard if your machine is already built. There db level from the OEM fan to the n520 is not noticable. I am very impressed with their technology. Also, it comes with a small tube of thermal compound so no need to buy extra.

Best ever
Comment:
Had problems with overclocking heat on my AMD 5400, black edition running at 3 gigs.It ran at 130f or higher. Now the highest it gets is 115f while being fully stresses for over an hour. It even idles at 65 when the ambiant temp is 72. Cant beat it for price or performance. It a huge cooler, so make sure your case is big enough

Great Cooling Fan
Comment:
I get quite frustrated with the mounting pin setup most cooling fans use on a Socket 775 mobo. This unit has a separate mounting bracket that goes on the backside of the mobo, and I think it is a significant improvement. The mounting is solid and very easy. You just have to remember to mount it before installing the mobo. Cooling performance is first rate - CPU temp on a quad core hasn't budged past 34 C despite heavy loads; most of the time it runs around 31 C. It is also reasonably quiet - certainly better than the stock cooling fan (in both volume and performance) than the stock cooler. The only challenge is the height - some cases might not tolerate it. There are cheaper cooling units, but this one is worth the expense if it will fit.

Great Cooler - Ninja Quiet
Comment:
Great cooler. I replaced the stock cooler from my AMD Phenom BE 955 with this one.. The fans are quiet, almost eerily quiet. The stock fan sounded like a cup of bolts in a blender at full or sometimes partial load. This biscuit is ninja quiet. Now I have to do something about one of my case fans, that I can hear now, because the CPU fan does not drown it out. Oh, this was a great price, and it fits in my Cooler Master CM 690 case perfectly.

This cooler works very well indeed on my quad core AMD. It is very large so make sure you have plenty of room in your case. I would recommend it to anyone that needs extra cooling capability.

A steal--put it in before you attach your MoBo
Comment:
When I saw how large the I7-920 stock fan was, I wondered if I had wasted a very little money on this fan. Then, I researched it, and discovered that this unusual unit is so much more effective at cooling the I7 when it's under load. You will want to have some depth in your case as it stands tall--I've got a big one (HAF 932) but there may be some mids that will hold it. The unit comes with good instructions, excellent components, and its own little tube of heat paste. But, because it is so tall, it requires a back plate mounting so be sure to put it on your MoBo before you screw the board down into the case--otherwise, you'll be pulling it back out. Been running my new home-build for a month and it's running great--the processor is well-cooled and performing great.
