It works relatively effectively.. I7 950 at 3.7ghz 32 degree's idle and 52 degree's gaming.. 60 degree's prime 95 1 hour.. Bracket is a poor style , will allow heatsink to move when tightened all the way down inform screws quit.. cross bracket wants to lock in superior,, also to big covers initial Ram slot on Asus Rampage three.. Cooling is about average My alienware cooler on a Q6600 at 3.2ghz overclock did greater than this.. Also the two Fans provided with this cooler dont Spin Fast sufficient.. need to have to improve RPM to at least three,000 or four,000.. i have 5 other 120mm fans in my case is alienware Area 51 which has excellent ventellation and plenty of space, problem is the fans dont spin that quickly and plastic shrowd holds in heat...

Keeps me E8400 @ 4GHz quite cool!Only 108F at total load with a 4.0GHz OC & only 6 degrees above ambient at idle! Sort of a discomfort to set up even when you know how to do it...But the end outcome is worth it!Not actually a con, but make sure it fits inside your case if you have a midtower like I do. It is 6 ½" tall! I ended up cutting the port on my side panel bigger to permit for the top to stick by the side of my case... LOL I didn't get this cooler right here but Won it from CoolerMaster along with a 800w Silent Pro Gold PSU following entering their Summer season Enjoyable Giant Giveaways contest as a Grand Prize winner! (first time in my life I ever won anything at all)But just about almost everything else I have bought from Newegg!CPU, Mobo, fans, TIM, and so on, and so forth...

keeps my three.6ghz 1090t at 14 celcius, and regardless of what the other reviews say,,it was quite effortless to install,,took me 15 minutes, i had to get rid of the motherboard even though my haf932 had a slot cut out in the back panel,,but i still wouldve had to eliminate it if i was placing a stock cooler on it motherboard style was the issue there its just so ****** huge,, AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition three.6GHzGIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD516GB 1600mhz G.Skill RipjawsXFX 2GB 6970 Graphics850 watts of Corsair Powerwrapped in a Haf 932 total tower

I got it installed, and it's maintaining my CPU cold... Doesn't fully fit the EVGA 750i For The Win, it sits on leading of a resistor. I place added padding there ahead of I lightly hand tightened the screws for the brackets. I didn't want to harm my motherboard. I can now run four.5Ghz stable on a e8400, 51C @ Load

Used in my first build on an Asus Rampage III Formula board. Installation was a little tricky since I refused to disconect almost everything from my mother board. It is in a Haf X case and has a lot of space. Istallation was a little tricky. Take the fans off or you are in for a difficult job.

Simple to install. Large so a full tower is encouraged, or you will have to cut the situation additional than likely with a regular ATX situation. three color sceams for the lights. i7 920 idles at 18 and mid 40s playing games. none Overclockers dream. EVGA x58 boards can only use one of the fans on the cooler but the back case fan is close enough that it doesn't matter.

Keeps the CPU cool with a moderate OC. Liquid cooling could probably do much more but for an air cooler it is fantastic. A little difficult to place on, but not to undesirable.

Fits on my EVGA Classified Motherboard! Doesn't block any of my RAM slots. Saw a 7*C drop in the course of idle and a 14*C drop throughout load. Used Arctic Silver 5. Discomfort in the rear to install but well worth it. Need to have to install it though motherboard is in the situation if you want to get all of your motherboards screws in (it blocked 1 of the motherboards mounting holes). Had to RMA my original shipment because of some busted thread holes that wouldn't let me to get it installed. Nothing at all to take an egg away for.

Keeps my cpu awesome. I'm operating a AMD 955 Black edition. Idle temp is 23degrees Celcius and at 100% is 40degrees. It won't get hot sufficient for the fans to spool up. So I don't know how loud it is. (Which is a very good factor:) Assembly is a small sketchy. But not to complicated the moment you sort out the parts you will need and set the other individuals aside. Then it doesn't appear as confusing. Wonderful cooler over all. I wish the insrtuctions were a small more clear. General a excellent purchase!

Employing I7-950 i am obtaining avg about 27 idle and gaming about 45 test prime 95 1hr and temps temp went higher than 57 - have fan on auto fan handle and so the fan stays to where i cant hear it most of the time and kicks in only when it is needed My only con would be that the 1366 bracket did not fairly fit correctly and to fix it loosened the screw on each leg to where it can be adjusted a little and fit just fine then but that being the only complaint it aint worth removin an egg just required a tiny finaggling

Just about anything. This cooler keeps my CPU incredibly cool, it's awesome..The specs on the system are:AMD Phenom II 1090T x6 -- Clocked at 3.2Ghz (stock clock)MSI 790FX-GD70128Gb Kingston SSD2x 1TB Samsung Spin Point HDD's2x ATI Raedon HD6850'sAfter a 12 hour tension test employing Prime95, the Core temp was reporting only 22*C. Even assuming the Thuban bug on-die bug, with a 10* allowance, that nonetheless puts the CPU at below 33* beneath complete load which is unbelievable.I cannot give this a great enough review. It's slightly substantial, if that bothers you. It doesn't bug me, I nevertheless have three other fairly significant fans in my situation, so it's not a concern, but for other individuals, it could be a concern for some.

My Intel stock fan had kept my cpu up to 70-90c Hot as hell in winter time. The coolmaster V6 maintaining my CPU 30c-40c even gaming in heavy load Loving it child!! As most aftermarket CPU fans, you have to take off the motherboard to place the bracket on the back. Pain in the neck. I have make some sacrifice like eliminate my other 120m fans beacuse the V6 is Large!!!!! can't close the door. I do have the total situation coolmaster"Stacker 830" Someone was on some negative medication although performing the instruction manual it type of mess my head searching at and studying it. WHY THE FANS HAVE TO BE LOUD?? IT Keep WAKING MY Infant and my subsequent door neighbor. Take away one particular egg because the loudness of the fans. You don’t need to have two folks to set up the cooler, all you have to do is to go to residence depot or any hardware shop and choose up the screwdriver bit holder with a magnet to hold the screw steady. It will take some patience to put this child up. Following that will be please. Its worth it.

Does it's job. Picked this up along with a new AMD 6 core CPU and the cpu temp is 26 degrees celsius at idle and 49 under load. The AMD installation directions also allows this to be installed two unique methods so you can set it to exhaust air onto your GPU aswell. I bought this cooler just so I wouldn't have to worry about heat. So far, I am really satisfied. Whenever your cooler comes with two 120mm fans, it's going to be pretty large. You'll need to have a total sized tower to even hope at getting it to fit. It's larger than my power provide. It does cover the 1st memory slot. You can either use your other slots or install your ram prior to you install this cooler. There is also enough clearance for ram with heat spreaders. None of these are actually cons though as they were expected with such a big cooler. To give a small reference, right here's my base setup:Case: Antec 900CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHzMobo: GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3. I truly recieved it prior to release for beta testing. Its a nice cooler that performs properly. I just wanted to let you know that if fits the p55 le mobo with space to spare :)

At max games, my cpu has but to get over 32 C. Never had a cooler like that before. Also idles at 15 C. I'm running the new SB i5 2500K overclocked to 4.4ghz.I dont discover the fans. and the light on the rig is pretty cool.everyone who says this is tough to install is stupid. Its just like anyother bracket, if something its much easier can you can put on the bracket and then place on the cooler. did it by myself, WITH NO TABLE, in 10 mins it is loose and moves around a bit following i mounted it. the spring screws are in all the way. I didnt apply as well much thermal compound either, just a thin layer. Honestly the moving/loose isssue isnt a challenge. it moves when you grab it and twist, how generally are you undertaking that? this issue is amazing although. good clean look in my situation and cools like a champion

Good Cooling Keeps my i7-970 overclocked to 3.9 at a stable 35C max at 48C with Crysis and two GTX 580's operating SLI in my HAF X 942Incredibly easy to assemble and installFits perfectly in my Cooler Master Haf x 942 - can't speak for other circumstances but I was going for aesthetics and efficiency and the Cooler Master answer provided both...ie this thing is Genuinely large but in and great "my Pc will kick your Computer's rear" wayWonderful LED light's blend perfectly again with the red led's of the HAF X but you could also go with purple or bluePretty quiet - not a super quiet solution but I'll take efficiency over noise anydayPleasantly surprised that my CPU temps on the 6 core only moved a hair with a 3.85 overclockNice and sturdy clamp for motherboard - not certain what other people are complaining about Non that I can tell Make certain you spend focus to the fan airflow (arrows on fans), you require to disassemble the fan for installation and you must have the pull push fan orientation correct for correct cooling
