Superb cooling, very quiet!!! no matter what i throw at my computer no matter whether is gaming or benchmarking 42C is the hottest my CPU gets. none yet needed a test fit just before final install just barely clears my 1st stik of ram. otherwise no issues as of however.

This fan really moves the air and is incredibly very. It looks fantastic in the case. Great CPU cooler! This factor is large, but you must already know that. I have a full size tower so it fits. It does even so block 1 DIMM rail. Intallation is bit tricky and the instructions are a bit vague. If you have any questions just about installation just google Cooler Master V6 GT and there are a number of videos to aid guid you via the installation procedure.

I spoke with the Cooler Master customer service prior to obtaining this and gave him my case name, MB, Memory and CPU to make sure every thing would fit. This tech was right on. Memory clears under it and it barely fits in my case...just like the tech stated. It's cools my CPU at 4.2GHz and doesn't go over 55 deg C throughout anxiety tests. Can't feel of any. This thing is huge but man does the thing get the job done. Was put inside an Antec Three Hundred with a Core i7-870 CPU and it almost touch the side panel.

as long as you have a good sized case this works like a charm. I overclocked an I7 to over 3.8GHz and even in a stress test it never broke 65 degree's. keeping in mind I live in newfoundland and the ambient was about 18. I was between this and a noctua but I have corsair dominator ram and this won't block the near slots if i decide to add another 3 dimm's.
