CORSAIR CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

This is my 2nd H60. I got this to replace my Corsair A70(corsair fan-boy what can I say) Which was on my AMD machine. The other one is on a Intel based system. Over all I am impressed with this unit it has really good performance and runs really quite.Now for the not so good part. When compared to the Intel mounting system, the AMD bracket is finicky. It uses the default (the one that comes with the board) mounting and backplate. It's basically attached by 2X little hook-like things. The pump kept sliding all over the place and as a result was hard to center on the CPU. Their is also no "stop" point to the tightening screws they will basically keep going until something fails, so you have to use your judgment. The Intel bracket was much more secure and a lot easier to instal. Personally for a high end cooler I don't know why they couldn't use a similar system for the AMD sockets.I am only giving it 3X stars because of the problems with the AMD mounting system.

I purchased this out of curiosity. It replaced a high end air cooler. I must say that it performs with roughly the same level of cooling as my precious air unit, but I like it much better. The socket has no strain on it, and the unit is very compact, and tidy. There will never be any issues with ram heat-sinks, or tight installations. For the money, this performs (in my opinion) as well as a large air cooler, and costs the same as large air cooler, but for some reason is much more gratifying. The supplied fan is also, really nice. It has a huge motor, and is very quite (I was surprised)
