The cable management is good; only have to set up what I require and comes with a lot of it. Provides me with adequate energy and then some; I will under no circumstances wonder if I have adequate juice. It's black and goes properly with my case. Yes, the Crown Royal bag that it comes with tends to make me really feel far better about spending my $$. Not substantially more to say about issues like this... it either performs or it doesn't; mine does :). I advocate this product. It's a bit pricey...but if you want the finest you have to pay for it. Fan is a tad noisy but seems to push air properly. Cons:Price

Pros:tons of power cables for accessories
Comment:
I am very satisfied with this power-supply. I overclock my cpu and SLI graphics card with the computer on 24/7 and have had zero issues. I thought I had a lot of extra accessories with my water-cooling and lighting but still had leftover cables for future expansion. This power supply is expensive however but the quality is worth it and it is good for those that don't want to go even more overboard with the platinum supply from corsair

I replaced this with a Rosewill Bronze 1000W.Employing a Kill-A-Watt meter, these are my draws:i7 950 four.37GHz @ 1.3875v with two GTX 460 1GB SLI 970񳑌񳬘 @ 1.187v.Rosewill idle = 245W; load = 1025WCorsair idle = 222W; load = 925WThat's 100W significantly less wattage at full program load just from possessing a various PSU!My test was operating Prime95 even though operating FurMark @ 1920 x 1200 with MSAA 16x. None Fully modular, efficient, and a quiet fan... the quintessential PSU to personal... if you don't mind the higher value tag.

higher top quality, great if you retain it for five years or a lot more. faint humming sound, anybody else getting it, technique appears steady no locks from it, like it to be more affordable.... of course you only need this if you have alot of harddrives and graphics card hooked up, otherwise get one particular that is alot less costly.....

Plenty of energy 񡼰 Watts, are you kidding).I purchased this mainly because my Themaltake 750W blew up...BOOM. Fortunately that was the only point that got damaged in the system. At the very same time, I decided to upgrade the video card and go SLI with 2 460 GTX cards. Immediately after visiting the Asus website for suggested power provide ratings, Asus suggested a 1050W energy supply so I picked this a single. (See "Other thoughts" for the link.) Not a con but a reality, it's Major. Not a fault or a con against the energy supply; soon after all, it is 1200 watts. I just had a hard time finding it into my Thermaltake Armor case. http://support.asus.com/PowerSupplyCalculator/PSCalculator.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

Comment:
Purchased the beast 1200AX for a new graphics rig. The package was missing the mounting screws, the instruction manual is essentially useless becoming mainly in 8 languages and supplying tiny details other than dry specs. No useful directions and varieties of installation scenarios. There is NO guide as to which of the numerous power sockets to use. No illustrations in the manual. Also, it does not state to mount the power supply with the fan facing DOWN if you have a new design case with a vent opening in the case bottom. The fan exhuasts the p.s. and does not blow inwards. These modest but essential points seriously spoil an otherwise premier power supply. Terrible documentation. No illustrations. Missing hardware. Lots of glitz but Corsair really should employ a literate techno geek to rewrite the manual and offer clarification and plug/socket ID and place on the p.s.

super quiet, super efficient.Shopping for a bigger energy supply, especially gold licensed will conserve you a ton of cash on your power bill. The power cords are lengthy except for a single, make it best for cases that have the PSU at the bottom.Complete modular!!! For the price it's good, but I'd want that the cpu wire was longer. it is the only wire that sticks out in front on my board. if you have a motherboard that had a CPU plug on the side, or closer to the PSU, than buy this for confident... that motherboard most likely doesn't exist. But you really should acquire this power supply. for all the pros going for it.

Very quiet with that large fan it has, warranty, plenty of energy for future upgrades. Properly packaged for shipping, and comes with a nifty nylon bag for holding the cables you didn't use. Ordered on Monday, got here on Wednesday, Newegg is Awesome. Produced in China. =( Pricey, but you get what you spend for. Upgraded from a BFG Tech BFGR650PSU 650W. I am upgrading due to the fact BFG is out of business, and can no longer support their warranties. I am also upgrading due to the fact this AX1200 offers modular wiring, warranty support, bigger, slower quieter fan, greater efficency, and let's face it, I like getting packages from Newegg.Cables need to be a bit longer, or they should incorporate extension cables for men and women with complete tower situations.I am not hearing any noise like other folks have complained of, I am smelling a slight smell of new electronics, but that will go away soon enough.

SUPER STABLE Strong PSU. Runs Something you can throw on it, and this PSU chews it up. A plethora of cables all nicely rubber insulated, with cable sleeving. Corsair did not skimp on this.Like the other reviewer said, this PSU is in the Large Leagues. This PSU is a MONSTER! How could that be terrible? Like THIS PSU, the price is properly worth it, get pleasure from becoming future proof man.

Fantastic ps for the cost. This model has plenty of energy to spare for all you power hungry devices. Quiet running as well as opposed to other critiques for noise. Size is my only concern, it is very big so make sure you have space. I knew it would be tight but i did have to get rid of my major usb ports in my case. The unit i got was wonderful no flaws or complications. I've noticed other critiques for loud noises or other issues on eta. Most every thing is mass made these days and you could get a faulty a single but Newegg will replace any defective parts.

Not loud at all, just believed i'd mention it due to the fact others had been posting about it. My pc is in a various room than I sleep in. It's really not loud to me, but perhaps other folks's are louder for some purpose, i dunno. Love almost everything about this energy provide. If it fails I'll repost.

Uncomplicated set up cables. Power supply would not power and stunk genuine bad when i fired it up. Was powering 2 gtx 580s swapping my old psu unit in booted anything just fine Had a Q/C tested passed sticker on it but shows up @ my door dead. Appears like either a person is not performing their job in Q/C or Corsair just dont care what leaves the warehouse

I can't say adequate fantastic items about this power provide. 1st off, there are not vents on the top rated of the powersupply, which is a genuinely wise design selection due to the fact power supplies sit at the bottom of Computer situations these days. With no vents on top, there's no be concerned that I'll accidentally drop a screw into the PSU whilst installing a totally new make.Second.. the modularity of this PSU is just amazing. It comes with each and every connector you could possibly need, yes it even comes with adequate 8 pin connectors to connect two eight pin video cards.Incredibly effortless to set up, incredibly uncomplicated to connect energy to each and every device in my machine and lives up to every bit of it's Certified 80 Plus Gold rating. None at all. Initial power provide that I didn't want to throw out off of the best of a mountain.

ModularTruly major wattageQuiet Tiny larger than i expected, tight fit in my full tower case. Cords don't like to bend fresh out of the box so cable management becomes intriguing. Bought this back in October, worked flawlessly and didnt have any concerns with it at all. Got a new SSD in the mail yesterday (January) and was re-booting frequently following installing windows for updates and drivers and so forth... PSU stopped booting and computer system wouldn't POST. Tried an old energy supply and every thing worked. Waiting for Corsair to get back to me on the RMA.
