Good PSU for the cost, probably some of the very best wiring for a modular PSU I've ever noticed. This makes cable management a breeze. Quiet, didn't discover the same noise a couple of other reviewers noted. Big, though that's to be expected for a 1200 watt PSU. The people purchasing this item will likely have a great bit of space to spare either way. Wish I would have purchased this PSU before. It actually is that great.

As the title could suggest this point is out of manage..... A lot of energy tons of breathing space, aids me attain ridiculous overclocks on my I7 920 d0. I purchased this sucker soon after my rig kept blue screening with a low-cost c00lmax 950w PSU. This sucker fixed anything. Its perfect for the extreme rig or crazy overclocker. with dual 8pin assistance and enough PCI express connectors to energy your house I didn't get close to operating out. Cable management is a DREAM. I thought my prior PSUs had great management but this issue truly will take it to yet another level. Quietest element of my computer. Cables had been incredibly lengthy and made operating them by means of my Antec 1200 a breeze. The cable it connects with is massive and you can't miss it. Superior and poor see beneath. I'll start off where I left off above. Its negative that it utilizes a exceptional cable mainly because at the last LAN celebration I had a buddy of mine walked off with the power cable. Š ITS Massive. It was a snug fit in my antec 1200. I was going to get the Ultra x4 1600w PSU but decided not to for a ton of motives but a single was size and the corsair PSU was pretty major as is. š Value. This sucker has a great price tag tag on it, but so far it has been worth just about every penny and saved me a large bill on tylenol for headaches simply because my overclocks weren't stable. This factor actually is a masterpiece. Its 100% modular and 120% raw energy. I was going nuts simply because every single overclock I tried resulted in failure and at some point the entire rig went into a full cycle of BSOD. This powersupply turned all that around and helped me clean up my case a tiny in the course of action. If you are running a huge rig or enormous overclock look at this PSU. If not consider a smaller corsair PSU. this is the first PSU from corsair for me and I promise it will not be the last. I have an I7 920 d0 overclocked with 1.5v vcore to practically 4ghz and 3 video cards at almost 890Mhz core clock with this PSU at the heart. Purchase THIS Factor if you want to power a car, house, little nuclear reactor or a crazy personal computer setup.

Modular cable design lets you plug in only what you need. A bag is included to preserve the further cables with each other so you can locate them if you add elements in the future. Its also incredibly quiet for its size. Really happy with the number and range of energy selections. Its huge but then yet again it wants to be to crank out 1200W and maintain cool.

Cons:Because it is fully modular sometimes I dont even know if the connector is plugged in properly. For several times the connector fell off... Also it is extra long.

Pros:1200W plenty of power! It is fully modular
Comment:
The extra long length is a problem for me. Some SATA cables are not long enough. As I said sometime the connector fell off and I had a hard time figuring out what's wrong.

Called CORSAIR and talked to there Tech'sThey mentioned it could be the components I utilised to create the pc. I told them that I had a different psu that does emit feedback from the elements..They admitted that it is then faulty and will need to be replaced. and this is a Identified problem. they also mentioned the Replacement they send could do the same thing..RMA'D yet again with NEWEGG and got the ANTEC HCP 1200DEAD SILENT!!!!!!!...Just as excellent as the CORSAIR but no ANNOYING NOISES.I function in IT and have built computers for more than 10 years So I am the Furthest from a NUBE...I know what I am talking about...A+ CertifiedNet+ CertifiedSystem SPECS:Q9550 OC'ED to 4.0GHZ on Thermalright ULTRA 120 Extreme8GB DDR2Gigabyte GA EP45 UD3P MoboEVGA GTX 580 Super-clockedCreative XFI Fatality PCI-E sound card2x 300GB RAPTORs1x 1TB WD black hddLG BLUE RAY BURNERANTEC HCP 1200 PSUHAF X Case

This power supply is good have yet run into a challenge with it. I hear no noise when it's plugged in or when it's on but other fans make it unnoticeable at that point. In contrast to most power supplies that say they are modular and finish up having 5 that aren't this power provide is totally modular. If you use this as a secondary power provide you don't have to worry about a 24 pin acquiring in the way or a four pin or 8 pin cpu plug. None actually. The only thing that wasn't kosher was the length of the CPU power cables. It does come with two 8 pin or four pin cables but they are relatively short. Be conscious that if you are utilizing a HAF X or one more tall situation the cable will be too brief to make use of a cable management function. On the other hand if you contact Corsair consumer assistance they are amazing and will send you two or one particular longer 1(s) depending on your desires. I have yet to receive mine due to the fact it isn't in stock yet but I know they are excellent for their word. No want to hassle with serial quantity or confirming you purchased the item.

What a excellent psu. I purchased it to replace a pair of tied-together 750W Pc P&C silencers from 2007 that weren't placing out complete power any additional. This is a beaut!! Great modular design, really, cool, clean and consistent power. 7-year warranty!!The best psu on the market place unless you will need 1500W simply because you're a nut who utilizes 500 graphics cards in SLI. Sturdy Develop, Modular Cables, and Corsair Quality. Died Within four Months. Corsairs RMA method is easy. Their internet site to maintain you updated about your RMA course of action is garbage. Had to e-mail the RMA department to get a status update. That took a day and a half to get a response. Overall Corsair is a fantastic company. Its sad even though you pay to price when it 1st comes out only to have it fail. - Sexy- Quiet- Very nice Modular Cables- Totally Modular- Super high top quality- 7 Year warranty- Best PSU packaging I have ever seen - NONE- In the course of the Un-boxing, Installation, and operation of this PSU there is absolutely nothing that I am not extremely happy with. If you are the kind of individual who like to have the greatest and spend a couple added bucks to get there, This PSU is for you. Now if you like to be affordable, and be penny wise and dollar stupidgo acquire a craptastick 800w with a craptastick warranty so you can acquire one more 1 in a year or two and then one more and so on. NOW, if you want a PSU that will deal with practically any setup, for the subsequent 7 years with guaranteed service and reliability with a solid Manufacture standing behind it, appear no further mainly because you have located what you're looking for. Go ahead, make the investment. Take pride in what you obtain, not the handful of dollars you save acquiring an inadequate product.

Plenty of energy capacity; hopefully won't ever develop into obsolete. Would be great if it came with a couple of extension cables; 1 for the old-style 4-pin molex, and 1 for the SATA pwr connector cable. I had to route the 4-pin molex connector down the backside of my motherboard in order for it to reach my HD's (case: ABS Canyon 695)A single other point: the plugs on the ends of the modular connectors that go into the back of this PSU are of a diverse shape/design then the ones that came with my Corsair 620HX. So, I couldn't just leave the PCIe and peripheral energy cords inplace and reuse them. I had to remove and replace all the cables with the ones included with this unit. Hopefully, Corsair has settled on the existing design, so in 7 years or so when (and if) I will need to swap out this PSU with a new Corsair unit, I won't have to get rid of and replace all those cables once more Purchased this to replace a Corsair HX620, as I upgraded my GPU from a single GTX 260 core 216 to 2 x GTX 580's in SLI. Installed this energy supply and my two new 580's, booted up; no troubles, runs wonderful. It does what it's supposed to do, quietly and efficiently.

Pros:Single rail design, great cable package, very high power, large cooling fan
Comment:
A few PSU's come close to the 1200AX but none beat it in sheer reliable power, build quality and the overall package you get when you buy a Corsair product. This is my third 1200 watt PSU, the other two being Antec (Quattro and High Current Pro) and I can say I will be purchasing Psu's from Corsair from now on. (if this thing ever kicks the can :-P)1200AX powers: Crosshair IV Extreme, 1090T BE, 8gb Corsair Dominator, Tri 6950's, 2x Raptors Raid0, dual loop/4 pump water loop and 12x Triebwerk tk-121 fans.

completely modular, black sleeves, black wires, black molex connectors, great packaging, 7 year guarantee, and good critiques in terms of efficiency. I plugged it into a psu tester and all voltages were in spec but the fan was loud, looked slightly unbalanced, and sounded like there was sand in the bearing. I also hooked it up to a computer system to see if there was a distinction under load. In both instances the coils whined (with the unit off, at idle, and with a load). Under load the fan was even louder! For a flagship PSU, the minimum speed fan noise and coil whine is unacceptable. Not confident I am comfortable with 100 amps flowing by way of one rail. I will RMA and give it one additional chance just before acquiring a HCP 1200. If fully modular cables and the black aesthetics are not crucial to you, I recommend yet another model. Also interested in acquiring a 650D, but the initially batch had inexpensive 200 mm fans and a bad fan controllers. Corsair, for future designs, please use top quality fans 鲸 mm in the cases please) and update your specs to include superior testing and QC.
