Comment:
Modular, high efficiency, great quality. Will power something and every thing the average pc user will ever need to have. Would only recommend a distinct size of this model to a buddy. Wish it came with varied lengths of every of the cables so that cable management would be best. This is becoming incredibly nit picky as all the cables are quite very good and quite usable. This was purchased for a buddy off a recommendation. I personal the 850HX and have never ever had a single situation. I will only get/recommend these models in different sizes. If you never ever want to have a power provide challenge obtain a single of these (make positive to get the proper size).

Cons:none

Pros:80+ silver certifiedmodularsilentflat cables
Comment:
I bought this PSU to replace my old HX520 since I needed more power and it's been fantastic so far. It's 80plus silver certified so it's highly efficient, and in most reviews you'll find that the performance is just barely under gold certification. The unit is also very silent, and it uses flat cables so you'll get less restriction with airflow. My HX520 lasted me over 5 years without any problems, and I'll trust that this HX750 will be the same.

Picked this PSU up on sale for a new build and it has served me well. I have not run into any problems with it, and the 5 year is reassuring in case something does go wrong (which at the moment I can't see happening).

Comment:
When it was operating, did what was expected (provide power). First 1 was DOA, 2nd one from Corsair has now died after 2 months of use. Had this power provide since November 2010, the very first 1 arrived dead (took forever to troubleshoot what was going incorrect) -- at that point had to RMA it back to Corsair. RMA went fine, despite the fact that was fairly lengthy but I assume that's the encounter you'll have at any manufacturer.Currently, two months soon after receiving one more power provide, it died without warning through typical use (not heavy gaming, internet surfing to boot). I'm in the method of developing one more RMA request.I guess maybe I'm 1 of the unlucky ones, but I can't advocate a product that's either died or shown up in not working condition twice now. Getting to pay for shipping to Corsair will expense ฮ-ุ dollars that I wasn't expecting to invest. Will undoubtedly attempt an additional brand next time. Manufacturer Response:Please RMA directly with Corsair utilizing the link beneath. We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience and we will take care of shipping due to the fact this is your second RMA. Please present the original RMA # and also note that this is your second RMA.External Link(s): Corsair RMA Link|

CORSAIR Professional Series HX750 (CMPSU-750HX) 750W Power Supply
Cons:None

Pros:Runs cool and quiet. Stable rails.
Comment:
Runs cool and quiet. Perfectly stable voltage rails running an i7 3770K Ivy Bridge build, an HD 6970 graphics card, and multiple hard drives. Modular build is fantastic--I already owned the TX750 (essentially the same, but non-modular), and cabling and organization is incredibly neat and easier. Will only use modular PSU's from now on. Comes with a nice bag for the modular cables that are unneeded, case screws, as well as black zip ties for organization. Even with overclocking and dual video cards, depending on your particular build, the chances are that you will not require more than the 750 of clean Watts that this unit provides, considering how much more power efficient modern processors and graphics cards have become.

The PS is the most crucial component in a system, due to the fact a poor performer can destroy almost every thing else in the box. This PS is quiet, cool, and stable. No peaks or valleys. The cables are pliable sufficient to make routing simple. No cons Extremely advised.

Does precisely what I required it to do. Just added a 2nd GPU card and needed 4 PCIe energy connections and a beefier იV rail. My previous 750W power provide was sufficient for the original create of my computer system but lacked the capability to help two GPU's. The value was reasonable and I expect the unit to last a even though based on Corsair's reputation. None so far.

I really like the modular design. The cables I don't will need, I don't have to mess with. The very first PSU I received, worked for about five minutes, and then it quit operating. It would energy off/on all by itself (mostly off). By means of troubleshooting, I figured out it was the PSU. Luckily, I had my old 600W PSU that I was in a position to use until I got my new a single. It took aver a week to get from FL to CA and they had to receive it just before they would send me a new a single. Due to the fact I had a spare, I didn't mind that as well significantly. Why I gave it five eggs is, Newegg sent me a UPS voucher, and I didn't have to pay anything further to ship it back.

QuietArea temperature air blown out the back (seriously, does this thing make ANY heat?)StableModular!Trustworthy I discovered that the cables were somewhat very easily broken, but only cosmetically..if you're cautious (scuff marks on the wires, just a warning but don't run them across any sharp edges just in case.) First I had this running a Phenom 1090t with a GTX460, with the 460 operating gpugrid practically 24ǝ for a month. Not too long ago re-purposed to energy a new residence server create with 17 drives, an i7 and 12gb of RAM. Measuring from the wall with a kill-a-watt, 160w average at idle (probably a hard drive being read)Adore this PSU, confident in its stability. Probably to acquire nothing but corsair PSUs from now on

Everything!! Runs incredibly quiet and provides solid energy to almost everything in my case. Comes with a significant choice of cables that are black or wrapped in black mesh so looks excellent in the case as effectively. Modular so no additional clutter in the space. Comes with a nice bag to keep the extra cables in and the psu itself comes wrapped in a nice but utterly useless felt bag. By far the ideal Psu in this price range! None as of yet!

I think I will place no PSU in any personal computer I build unless it has 'Corsair' on the label. Amazing product!. The bag is a great touch, I actually use it to hold cables and such for my laptop.P.S.My favourite post here has to be the fellow who posted: "This velvet bag is basically incredible. It's so soft. Comment:
The modularity was really well believed out. I like that it limits the number of cables in my case to assist airflow, and I Seriously like how the ATX and PSU connectors are set up to enable for old and new motherboards by permitting you to split the cable ends, and re-join them later if you upgrade the MB. None. I purchased this to replace my stock power provide in my HP D5000t, which is Ӯ.five years old.Set up took ㅂ minutes -- no joke. It was extremely straightforward to install, the only concern I had was the fan config in my case; I had to use a small elbow grease to slide it in. Otherwise, very basic and straightforward. Not really a con, just an observation, but the ATX and PSU cable sleeves are not incredibly flexible, but I will give them credit for getting strong and inspiring self-confidence. I had to be a little creative in manuevering the PSU cable around the CPU fan.
