Installed on a custom method with Windows 7 64 bit. All 8 megs recognized on windows initially boot. Listed timings obtained on auto settings. None~ I have generally utilized OCZ memory in my system, but decided to spend a few more dollars and choose up the coarsair. Quite happy that I did.

Fast... Will waste the WEI with a 7.9 but something this speed or more quickly will.. Operates wonderful what can ya say. Had to RMA my initial pair to corsair. Worked properly but I was off my Computer for practically two weeks because of it including my having to purchase shipping 40$ for 1 day to rush issues more rapidly... Quite annoying Great ram as with any ram it can be negative when you get it. Sad thing was this was my initial undesirable component on acquire in my 7 years of developing...

One particular pair worked. 1 pair was faulty and the replacement pair was DOA. Nicely I had a good time with this ram, initial bad ram I've ever gotten, and I got two bad pairs at that. Originally I ordered 2 pair for the nice total of 16 Gb for a new make and low and behold when dropped into a system I got a memtest error, right after 1Ǜ weeks of testing I discerned the guilty celebration (testing this substantially ram requires alot of time even with two test rigs) I RMA the faulty aspect with newegg, a slow but simple course of action that cost me absolutely nothing... 2.5 weeks right after mailing it out I got a new pair in the mail. A single of the sticks in there was so dead that if placed in a mobo on any of my test systems they failed to even make it to bios. I'm currently awaiting the replacement of that pair but I felt that twoǙ pairs being undesirable, one particular to the point that it would have shown in any test if QA was a corsair concern, I could soundly give this a 1 egg critique, initial bad assessment I've ever posted on either right here or tiger for a undesirable item... HA.

both sets that i ordered had been functioning from get startedlow profile heat sinks prove to be very best asset a lot of space from cpu cooler and tops of ram did not show up as 1600 on 1st post had to manually enter in the correct speed in bios if you have some understanding then these infant's will do you correct.if you are a beginner be sure to ask for support when playing with bios. i am lucky to have a dual bios motherboard so i didn't have to significantly to be concerned about if i made a mistake.

none my sticks overheat when operating at the advertised speed of 1600. I discovered only two approaches to retain the ram stable, open the side of the case and stick a box fan on the side or underclock ram to 1333. Manufacturer Response:If the method is unstable at the rated speed and timings for this memory, and opening the case resolves it, then you most likely have an situation with airflow in your case, a poor memory controller, an unstable overclock. The operating temperature for memory is Really high so the quantity of heat in the typical case must not be a aspect unless you have a defective kit or some other concern. We'll be pleased to replace them if you'd like to attempt a unique set.External Link(s): Corsair Get in touch with Page|

Cons:Not meant for overclockers

Pros:QualityLow Price
Comment:
No unnecessarily fancy heatsinks, lights or flashy looks, just good RAM at a low price. Overall looks and feels solid. Haven't tried overclocking at all but don't imagine it could be pushed very far, but that is clearly not the focus of the product.

Pros:Dependable product and company
Comment:
I do not overclock my RAM, but this item is both reasonable in price and dependable. I have yet to have an issue in almost 2 years. Probably not fast enough for an enthusiast, but I would recommend to a friend.Started off with 2 sticks and recently upgraded to 4. It's Corsair... I've never had a botched product from them.

This RAM does exactly what you'd expect it to do, put it in and it works. I find it quite fast, and the heatsinks on it look good, and seem very heavy duty. Great product!

Run on my rig at eight-eight-8 1600mhz, devoid of a volt increase. Heat sink seems to be doing its job as they're just a wee bit warm. Haven't found any as of but. Got some bad Wintec AMPX, rebated these and purchased these. Adore 'em they're beasts. :D

Works great! Quick shipping via Newegg! None! Place this in my I5 machine, overclocked it to 1600MHz and it performs fantastic. I currently had 4GB 2X2 of the identical memory, so now I have 12GB. I'm running Window 7 64bit, with a Sapphire Radeon 5830 video card (thats all i can afford). My MB is the Asus P7P55D Pro.

I am able to get two kits ྰgb) operating stable at 1600 on a Asus P8P67 WS Revoloution. The XMP settings perform wonderful even with 2 kits. Runs at 1.65v 1.5 would be superior. I would have used vengance, but the large heat sinks get in the way of a coolermaster 212 on that board.

Arrived well packaged within 1 day. Fantastic price from newegg superb shipping. Each sticks passed MemTest flawless. Default packaging on all the XMS ram = Excess packaging waste. If your are into that sorta save the earth stuff. Default on my Asus M4A79XTD evo was 1333 9-9-9-24.Simply altering the settings in bios to16001.66v9-9-9-24They are functioning flawless and even soon after memtest are hardly even warm to the touch. T1/T2 was set to auto. Will force settings to T2 and T1 to see if they also run flawless.

My i7 875K approves of it. Did have a challenge at very first. Nevertheless the answer was an straightforward fix. It wanted to be very first, and I had to move the other RAM I had to the threeǚ slots. If you have the Freezer PRO heatsink, the fan will rest proper on the leading. Also don't forget when you add additional RAM specially these massage amounts you web page file grows to ginormous sizes! Also you have to pay a check out to MSCONFIG to set the quantity of RAM.
