I upgraded my server to 24GB of this Corsair memory using 3 sets running on an X58 triple channel. It was easy as pie, just remove the old memory and replaced with the Corsair and done!

eight gigs of super quick sexy ram! Keeps my Amd Phenom X6 1090T incredibly happy. Purchased two sets, very first was faulty. It would cause random crashes and blue screen errors. Operating memtest returned major errors. The return process is lengthy but reletivly painless.

None One particular stick was negative. Epic fail on memory test. Not extemely personal computer savy. Wasted several hours scratching my head questioning why windows wouldn't install. Now I have to send each sticks back and be with no a computer system for awhile.

Attractive pair, very comfy with overclocking. Detected by Asus mobo (P8P67 Pro) as 7-7-7-20 with an FSB ratio of 1Ɉ . Effortless, and I'm pleased I went with Corsair this time. I've had some tough occasions with other RAM. None apparent. I appreciate the understated look with no outlandish heatsinks or lights. There's a spot for that, but not in an sophisticated enterprise machine.

Excellent RAM from a reliable firm for residence use. I slotted 16 GB into my M4A78T-E and it recognized all 16 with no BIOS upgrade or configuration. Not really a con but I am not noticing a great deal of added efficiency over the 6 GB I had just before. That's almost certainly mainly because I have only tested it with VMWare. I had four Server 2008 VM's running prior to and efficiency is the identical. I advise Critical to any person with doubts whether or not their MB will accept their RAM. I have by no means had a difficulty with this brand. M4A78T-EPhenom II X4 955Critical 16 GBWD 640 GBSeagate 1TB(x2)XFX Radeon 5850 (still runs every thing on high)Antec EarthWatts 750W

Value. Only 2 sticks for 8gb I can not for the life of my get this ram to run at the DDR 1600 speed. I built a brand new Sandy Bridge program and no matter what I do, the ram shows up as only DDR 1066. I'm still waiting to see if the board is at fault, but atm it seems I got some poor ram. By no means had a problem just before with this brand. I have the 4x 2gb version of this ram and it performs fine in my other Pc. Manufacturer Response:Please contact Technical Help. Based on what you have posted, what you are seeing is most most likely a Incredibly prevalent frequency reporting issue and has no bearing on the actual operating frequency of the memory.External Link(s): Corsair Get in touch with Page|

CORSAIR XMS 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:- I dislike that the RAM has to run o 1.65V for 1600Mhz. Does not leave much room for overclocking it.. For that, the Corsair Vengeance may be a better choice. (I currently have this running o 1333Mhz CL9 - 1.5v and it's perfectly fine)

Pros:- Netural Low-Proile Stylish heatspreaders- Works great, reliable.
Comment:
Overall, no complaints. RAM works as it should.+ Corsair has the best tech support! RMA with no questions asked + sent a replacement (brand new) when it was my own fault for being uneducated.

I installed this memory on a brand new Asus P8P67 Pro with an i5 2500K processor. Updated the BIOS to version 1007. Detected and ran excellent as DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24 for awhile but would get under-clocked on cold booting. Right after I performed the Clear RTC RAM procedure, that issue went away. None. My new build started up and POST'ed on the initial attempt following installing these in slot 1 and three for dual-channel. They had been packaged really nicely! Very secure inside their plastic packaging.OS: Windows 7 64-bit Home PremiumVideo: GIGABYTE GV-R577UD-1GD Radeon HD 5770 1GBDisk: two x HITACHI Deskstar 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/sCase: Antec 300Power: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W
