Operates as advertised, no problems out of box, heatsinks are easy and desirable None. The heatsinks undoubtedly have a good simplistic appeal to them (deep black). Aside from that, there's nothing considerably else worth noting.

Runs specifically as specified. 8-8-8-24 @ 1.65V. None. Make confident your providing it the expected 1.65V. This ram runs perfect on my MSI GD65 operating 1600mhz and my i5 is at 4ghz. Passed five linpack cycles, 3 Vantage benches, and eight hours of Prime95. The ram does its job properly!

So far, works excellent in my i5 rig.Matches-up perfectly on my Gigabyte ud4p motherboard with Profile 1. None however. I bear in mind when I was the envy of the town with my 16MHz 8026 and 1MB RAM. (The common was 12MHz and 1MB RAM was considered silly effective.)

advertised speed and combo cost Doesn't operate at stock speeds with a Gigabyte P55 UD3 and Core i5 750 CPU. Soon after hours of looking, I found many others with identical troubles. Had to clock down to 1066 just to get some sort of stability, but any sort of heavy lifting brings on a crash. Can barely set up programs, can't encode a video - once CPU or memory usage goes near 50% the program just crashes. At the moment dealing with Corsair, hoping that they've figured out a solution to run at 1333 as advertised. Purchased option RAM in the meanwhile. Need to have accomplished far more research outside of NewEgg. The problems don't appear as main as they are just by reading the testimonials here (which is why i'm reviewing for the initially time). Regardless, it seems to be a Corsair challenge. If you have the exact same CPU/mobo combo I recommend avoiding this item.

No problems with installation.Relatively stable in my new system. Wasn't recognized as 1600 speed ram.As with most ram these days, I really feel it is a bit pricey. I'm not certain if the problems with ram speed recognition is due to MB or the Ram. I don't have the most existing Bios for my ASUS P55 Deluxe MB. Nevertheless, the system rums fine and it overclocks to three.9 MHz with the ram running around 1600. So I can't seriously complain.

my memory and all equipment purchased with each intent to make my pc just before August still sits in my space, unopened. Unopened since my house had serious water complications and major leakage. BEEN BUSY! Don\'t forget: this is the positive side. I believe the RAM will operate...let's see if I further respond. Hmmm...yes, this is negative. The so-named rebates from Corsair? Watch Out! The initial time, I did anything proper; yet, I was denied. This connected to an SSD product - an my overview is also there. This time, I didn't have the time to read the downloaded PDF. 21 days. So, I tried the url from the PDF: incorrect! undesirable address. So, I googled it and discovered a lot of other individuals had the exact same difficulty w/rebates. The address given by Corsair on the "problems with rebates" place on their site?? Undesirable address! No, I'm not kidding. A thing's incorrect, dude. Bad ADDRESSES:corsairmemory.rebateaccess.comcorsairmemory@help.4myrebate.comThese work:corsairmemory.4myrebate.comThe only "help" is complaining on their forum site. Register and maintain placing the pressure on these guys to REBATE, REBATE, REBATE as they promised. Corsair is restrictive in their reading their own rebate promise...and, there's nothing you can do except complain to federal-state-BBB (Better Company Bureau).

Good deal for ram, was good and low cost at the time when I bought it (about january 2010, ๳ at the time). Looks excellent, get a nice brand name with the great corsair warranty. Most importantly it worked at the advertised speed without having a hiccup for over a year. One particular of my sticks went bad immediately after about a year. Didn't completely fail outright, but has been throwing adequate errors that my method stability has been compromised. Took it out and I'm running 2gb at the moment. Do not strategy on RMAing the poor set, I have no other ram to use and don't want my system to be down for an extended period of time. Will in all probability run 2gb for a small longer, then just upgrade to an 8gb set seeing as how ram is so affordable now. Would still suggest to anybody, was a strong set of memory, electronics fail I recognize.

extremely fast, scores 7.five on windows knowledge index, sturdy and looks great, effortless to install BIOS indicates timings of 9-9-9-24, not the quoted 8-8-8-24. i let the BIOS set every little thing automobile, but it runs so rapidly the timings possibly don't matter. glad they had been on sale.

Runs at DDR3-1600 with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.65v with no troubles. I run an AMD board so I had to set the timings and voltage manually but that's no biggie I haven't tried tightening the timings however, I just completed the assembly. Permits my AMD Phenom II x3 720 to run at 3.8ghz with just a multiplier only bumb.
