The one stick that was great of the pair runs flawlessly. Regrettably, 1 stick was faulty out of the box, and as it is a pair, I can\'t maintain the fantastic one although I RMA the other, so my method will be down unless I purchase yet another single to get me by in the interim. Hoping the subsequent kit works flawlessly. Corsair is a excellent name, and I have purchased their items ahead of. I am going to try an additional kit.I tried every single slot on the MB, and each sticks. The stick that works, works with out issue in ever slot. The stick that does not fails to post in every slot. It also fails each time it is installed with the operating stick. NewEgg: Please look at a cross shipping policy, even for additional income. The rest of the service here is stellar. Guess I will see if I can obtain an additional kit and send the initial one back for refund.

Heatsinks appear and feel solid, compatible with H55 chipset, passed all memory tests I threw at it. Is it still acceptable to say "chipset" considering that theres only 1 chip in the H55 architecture?? I guess thats my con... o.O I threw these sticks in a Biostar Eco i2 barebones (also purchased from Newegg) w/ an i3. It made for a great value rig. Any person new to DDR3 will be amazed how quickly it is, I sure was!

Very effortless to set up in new create (w/Asus MOBO and intel i5 cpu). Ran ten trials of memtest with no difficulties. Excellent Ram for the money. ...not as fairly as other sticks i guess when initial installed, this will not run at 1600. Modify your BIOS and everything will work out fine

Super quickly stock settings, great benchmark efficiency, no installation concerns whatsoever My 32 bit OS only addresses about 3.4 of my 4.0GB. Sigh! The cost is right, performance is good. What additional can you ask for?

Wonderful performance and simply was able to be set to the XMP on my asrock mobo to reach the advertised speeds. Lower latency than most at this speed and price. Good appear that goes with my case. None truly, besides not becoming free of charge If you get this ram to go with the i5/i7, make sure you get a compatible mobo that has XMP supported to be able to reach the 1600mhz speeds. It will show up as 1333mhz without having changes which is normal.

Seem to be nicely produced, nice heat spreaders. Was able to get them stable after reading about. 1.65volt... Intel reccomends 1.5volt... warnings in motherboard box say exceeding 1.6volt could damage CPU.Doesn't appear to be reliable at the labeled timing. I had to set it to 9 9 9 24, 1.6v ahead of my computer would quit rebooting each three minutes.Perhaps this is genuinely just 1333mhz DDR3 thats overclocked, but I thought I was purchasing 1600mhz ddr3. I'm not positive that this must have a 'perfect match for i5/i7' label in the item description. From what I've seen, numerous folks have had to override SPD settings to get this stuff to even work on an i5/i7 so its not best in my mind. Next time, I will only obtain precise memory modules listed as compatible by intel.

Runs quick and fine worth every single penny! I have to update the Bios on my board as I bought 2 of these and am running 8 gigs total which it only showed 4 at begin of install. Not a biggie honestly. I haven't messed with the timing however but the defaults from my board are running fine. Excellent bang for your buck.

I have this running in an Asus M4A88TD-M board with a Phenom II 555 cpu. The ram only required 1.6v with stock timings and is a solid performer. I paid $120 at the time of purchase, but now there are so many good 8GB kits to choose from nowadays for much less $$

this ram with my crosshair 111 and a 965 quad core makes a excellent combo, there is almost a third faster than my crosshair 11, 940 quad core and ddr2 8500 corsair ram, will buy again.

Good price, excellent performance
Comment:
The price is good, and as prices level they'll be an even better value than they are now. The best news is: The performance is EXCELLENT. Stuck these in my new i5, and went into the bios and set them up to run via their SPD, and instantly they were autoconfigured, and good to go. You really can't beat that for ease of installation!

Not the best for overclocking
Comment:
When I ordered this it was listed as Dominator memory and the picture showed that too. I was a little disapointed when this is what showed up, but it was the last thing I needed to start my new computer so I went with it. It works fine at lower speeds but will not run stable at advertised specs. I tried to run it 3 times at 8-8-8-24 at 1600mhz 1.65v and I couldn't run it at all without crashing. It works for me for now untill I get around to getting a better set.
