It functions just fine in my 2010 mac mini. Great to have 4 instances far more memory than stock at a considerably superior price tag than Apple will sell it. Its been operating fine for several months in my (late 2009) Mac Mini. Passed full Memtest and AHT diagnostics. Lots of headroom for running apps. Initial couple times I tried it, Mac mini wouldn't boot. I tried reseating them. Then I swapped them in their slots and mysteriously it worked!I looked extremely closely at the modules and they were NOT identical. Extremely slight color variation. The 'tech understanding' method is broken.

For me, upgrading from the 4GB Hynix RAM that came with the Z820 gives me the potential to leave a lot of internet pages open whilst streaming 720p video with no slow downs. I've also turned off the page file in Windows 7 Pro for added efficiency gains. Really satisfied with this upgrade.
