Some reviewers have commented about the difficulty with the packaging, but I had none. A pair of scissors, cut the perimeter of the package off, and TAHDAH! Only regret was I need to have done this sooner! I purchased this to upgrade a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q830 and it functions like a charm. Now operating 8 Gigs RAM with core i7. The laptop worked beautifully just before, but I use it a lot for gaming and often would stretch it to the limits through some sessions. This upgrade will give me a larger cushion zone during some of those sessions. I did a search for memory & this Vital 8GB was the ideal high quality memory for your income. Slapped it into the Qosmio and booted to bios to verify recognition. The memory showed as expected and is operating at it's complete speed. Critical memory works perfectly! I had difficulty with Patriot memory (resulted in freezing or rebooting). Most likely nothing incorrect with Patriot memory, perhaps the torrance not as good as Critical memory. Also Important costs less! absolutely nothing unfavorable I enjoy Newegg....Price is suitable, service is excellent, and assistance is outstanding.

Comes securely packaged. This ram works great and it was fairly basic to install. I've have no difficulties and like that I didn't have to pay apple's insane markup to max out my ram. None I'm glad that I went with this company. The other people appear to be "the luck of the draw" on regardless of whether or not you get working sticks. I purchased this RAM to add to the current 4GB in my ASUS G53JW-XN1. Bumped the RAM up to 12GB total, and it's great in applications, boot time, but most of all gaming! Windows Experience score went from the lowest in my method of five.9 for memory performance to the highest in my program of 7.3! Large improvement! ---
