Rock solid performance! I ran the bench marks just before and following install and was incredibly impressed with the efficiency gains. Not a surprise due to the fact I doubled my memory with this kit, still the numbers do not lie. Passmark jumped from 950 to 987 (system score) and Novabench showed RAM speed enhance of 270 MB/s. None but. Invest in this RAM.

Bought for my 17" MacBook Pro laptop to bump me from 4 GB to 8 GB. The memory worked perfectly and it was a piece of cake to install (about five-10 minutes). My Windows XP / Linux VMs are no longer memory starved! None whatsoever.

It's additional RAM.. it's Essential.. Trusted Brand fully living up to it's reputation. Installed and booted up flawlessly.. no troubles... no stalls. What a lot more can be said? Oh yeah.. fantastic price!!! Nope.. prisons nowhere close to where I live...Honestly though.. it's added memory and my pc is loving it. That's a "no conner" to me. If I had the capability.. I would acquire additional.... seeing as how my HDX18t only supports up to 8GB of DDR3.. this is it. I would and will gladly pass this on to pals.. specially by way of the egg of understanding! installed fast and easy. booted up quickly. it was not cost-free. other then that, none! went from 4gig to 8gig in my hp dv6-3077ca.every thing now is super smooth no wait occasions. not to say the 4gig in the laptop originally was not sufficient.WEI went up as properly. been utilizing for more than a month now with no troubles or glitches. ought to buy.

8gb for 贄 is a fantastic cost. Quickly delivery. Plug-and-play, ideal match-up. Elevated speed and efficiency and functions as specified. It was a bit time consuming to take the case off of my laptop to adjust the memory, as there is no "memory access port." If you have a Toshiba E205-S1904, study installtion procedures so you don't break your case!There are NO CONS for the memory itself! Vital has often been a leading performing, best selection of memory for me. I am usually satisfied, particularly at this price tag!

Popped this pair in a Dell Studio XPS 1640 to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB. Laptop flies even faster now, and installation was a snap. Still fairly pricey. Not to knock the other memory guys, but I purchased Essential because they have been around a lengthy time, and their customer service is fantastic.

Popped it in my early 2009 MacBook Pro and it runs like a champ. I have ran 3 parallels VM's, streamed 720P video through safari, had itunes open and playing music all even though watching a movie in VLC and there was no sluggishness at all. None.....Cost perhaps but thats yet another story Purchase it

It works. I ran numerous passes of memtest86+ and it passed just about every test! This is a 1st: I ordered this ram from Important to put into a Dell Studio 1558 w/ Core i5, and they shipped me Hynix RAM with a Critical label. Important is a division of Micron, and many folks get Critical simply because they know they'll get Micron RAM modules, which tends to be pretty superior. Getting someone else's RAM was disconcerting. Absolutely nothing against Hynix (Apple ships it stock in their systems, so it can't completely suck), but I now will get fewer warm fuzzies by ordering Essential.

Rapid newegg shipping. Crucial excellent. Expensive. (But worth it.) Popped these into my Toshiba A665D and it fired suitable up. I've by no means had a problem with any crucial product. Crucial is all that I run on my house systems, and all of the workstations and servers at function. I attempted the 8GB Gskill kit due to the fact it was more affordable, and my program wouldn't even post. Had to RMA the Gskill. (It's less expensive for a cause.)

The CT2KIT51264BC1067(CT1226773) is the advised portion by Essential for the Macbook Pro 6,two. It worked suitable "out of the box." I tested the memory with Apple Hardware Test and Techtool Deluxe; both passed. This upgrade is great for power users, virtual machines, and other memory heavy tasks. None. Micron memory was installed in my machine from the factory, so why not upgrade with Micron memory? :)

The Essential 2x4GB DDR3 memory is much more than sufficient for most processes, including VMwareFusion, and dual booting to other OSes. It's efficiency is very good in the Mini. This Vital product is a wonderful value, and competitively priced. I would advise this product to those who want a boost to their system efficiency with out the doubt of compatibility. There are no Cons, been operating the mini for a week now continually ࿺% uptime/ not sleeping the computer system) with no errors or hiccups. From all the reviews that have been made about this memory and it's compatibility with Macs I would say two thumbs up to Critical making a wonderful product. Thanks Team!On a side note. The best upgrade for a mini's efficiency beyond the Memory would have to be an SSD. After seeing MBPs boot and process data side by side with Regular HDDs and then SSDs... there is no comparison. If you feel your pc is slow and you are seeking to buy a new 1, don't. Obtain an SSD (and/or memory) that has decent throughput and reinstall your system. I believe that it is a considerably much less high priced proposition than buying a new laptop or computer and it extends the life of a personal computer well beyond it's life-cycle.

High ratings, good performance none really I have installed it in an early 2009 24" Apple iMac. I went from 4 GB of ram up to 8 GB. Not considerably of a noticeable speed improve but then I wasn't really expecting one due to the fact I don't have tons of apps open at 1 time. Cost and brand reliability. Oh, and it's 8GB. None that I can see This is a wonderful value! I have a late 2010 17" i7 MacBook Pro. I couldn't stomach Apple's cost for the RAM upgrade, so I figured I'd wait. Everything was fine with the standard 4GB until I necessary to get started running VM's (specifically Windows 7 via Parallels). Suddenly my blazing machine was laggy and unresponsive.When it comes to RAM, I swear by Vital. They've by no means accomplished me wrong yet and I hope that trend continues. They were sold out of this kit although, so I ended up here at Newegg. Not only did they have exactly what I necessary - they had been a great bit much less than obtaining straight from the manufacturer! Great value, and Newegg was a pleasure to do small business with. Installed on my Alienware m17x that employed to have 4gb. I utilised the pc for some 3D rendering and mild gaming on Starcraft. I didnt see significantly on Starcraft but the 3D rendering is significantly smoother. None with the ram, the package was a small hard to get the sticks out by only touching the sides but I managed.

Exactly what I necessary to upgrade from 4gb to 8gb, I'm not a fan of Crucial but the timings and speed had been great for a notebook. I put it in - and then it worked :) Expensive... in my opinion.

Installed this memory on my Vaio laptop and it function great from the get go. The problem is my WEI went from 7.3 down to 7.two... Despite the fact that it has 4 more GB of memory... is not as rapidly as the OEM DDR3 1333 that the laptop comes with so my WEI went down. No biggie... went ahead and install it on a lower finish laptop I have and got me some new 8GB DDR3 1600. Lesson find out I guess.
