Very *VERY* tiny, can be left into a laptop with out getting snagged on some thing. Light shows on the device when it's on, and flashes differently when Tx/Rx-ing information. Fairly excellent range for such a smaller antenna...was in a position to send data to/from a cell mobile phone ㅇft away + through a wall w/o any difficulties. Comes with the Toshiba BT stack software program, huge plus. Functions natively with Windows 7. The light...GAH! It's "OK" I suppose, but if you are in direct line-of-sight of the light, it'll drive you crazy. If it's on the back of your laptop/desktop then it's no huge deal. As other readers have recommended, a small piece of tape or w/e will do the trick. Spraypaint functions as properly. ;p As stated above, it does perform natively with Windows 7, but you'll want the Toshiba drivers if you want added BT stack assistance, like OBEX push/pull with certain mobile phones and such.

Works devoid of fuss, flaw, fail, or further drivers for both Win7 and OS X. Plug it in and it works without complaint or hassle. Also significant to hide in a laptop's USB port, too small to often comfortably insert and take away from the back of a desktop. Some people today have complained about the brightness of the blue light; I by no means noticed this above the general level of my other chassis lights. I use this on a dual-booted Win7/Hackintosh desktop.

Great range. Effortless to configure in Win7. Lags a small when in the USB port subsequent to my 2.4ghz wireless dongle. No big concern although. I just moved it. Overall pretty happy with it. Tested 40 feet away by means of 1 wall (small apartment), operates fine.

Small, Very good signal strength, worth the funds. The annoying blinking LED is not ideal for laptops. The drivers supplied from Toshiba DIDN'T perform for me. If you have windows 7 (x86 or x64) DO NOT INSTALL THE Provided DRIVERS. I installed the drivers from toshiba; this resulted in terrible audio quality and severly skipping audio.I just plugged it in to a different windows 7 machine it worked no problem with wonderful top quality.Uninstalled the drivers from the initially personal computer also worked fantastic.Digging my S805 Motorola bluetooth stereo headphones that.

Its Fantastic! I got it so i could connect my ps3 and wii controls to my Pc to play my games and it Worked flawlessly just connect and windows recognized it and installed it. Im utilizing windows 7 64bit. Random Bright light. In addition to the at times blinding blue light that it emmits i poped it in back of my case and haven't had any issues with dropping signals or the bright light.

Basic plug-and-play for Mac OS X. Added Bluetooth functionality to my old 2006 iMac, so I could pair a white Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse. This is trivial, but the but blue LED on the adapter flashes intermittently even when the display is asleep and the keyboard and mouse are not in use, which can get annoying in a dark room. Upgrading to Mac OS X 10.6.3 somehow triggered my Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse to shed connection soon after waking from sleep, or following every single restart, and I had to re-pair each all the time. Reverting back to ten.6.two fixed it, so just a heads-up.

I'm employing this to sync media in between my telephone and pc. It was a tiny frustrating at initially, but i got it paired inside 10 min or so. I will have to blame this on my telephone, as i had the very same results with two distinct computer systems using the very same phone model; Nokia E71x. Because the pairing, there hasn't been a single issue. Fantastic small device. The blue activity light is very bright and distracting over time. I had to put this in a single of the rear USB ports on the computer.

compact device, good software program, connected with my headset with no issue run for 1 hour then died. This พ.99 device failed, which can generally happen with any electonic device when you initial operate it. When I tried to replace it, I'm told the UPS shipping is ű.54 and that is Newegg unique lowered rate price tag. I paid Ū.99 to obtain it from Newegg.

Incredibly basic to set up and works wonderful. I use two of these, a single connected to my laptop, and the other connected to a Canon PIXMA ip100 mobile battery operated bluetooth printer. None so far. Set up to operated the Canon ip100 mobile battery operated bluetooth enabled printer was quite simple, and overall performance is superb. This setup tends to make for a formidable wireless mobile battery operated inkjet printer that produces qualified grade correspondence when I am on the road.

It's compact. Good adequate range and signal. Worked the 30 ft or so it mentioned it would before dropping. poor software program. plugged into two machines. 1st, Windows 7 premium. I let windows set up the drivers from windows update. Worked okay as far as seeing and connecting to my s305 headset but I noticed choppiness for the duration of video playback (just in the audio) which would place the voice out of sync with the video. Sucks to watch a movie that way. Next I tried a different machine, windows 7 professional, but this time I downloaded the drivers from the internet site. They had been total cr^p. I couldn't get it to connect at all though it would show up. Unistalled and installed just windows update drivers once again an had lag once again. This time with pandora. I didn't even notice though till I went to pause it and it took ten - 15 seconds for the music to stop...then I pressed play and noticed a 5 second delay prior to the sound reached my ears.Linux...well, I couldn't connect in linux either but neither did I invest substantially time. It did show up even though. My headset works wonderful with no delay connected to my Droid through bluetooth. So it ought to just be this dongle. It'd say it's okay as long as you use the windows drivers and only program on listening to music. If you could use video appear elsewhere. The out of sync concern will most likely drive you nuts!

Fantastic little bluetooth that fits right into the USB port of my laptop and I never ever have to take it off. It connected to my Motorola S805 BT DJ headphones but only in mono. Soon after installing the CD, it worked good in stereo! Sound high quality is great too; good base and the voices are superb! My S805 BT DJ headphones also has a built in microphone, but the bluetooth adapter only "sometimes" recognizes it. Even immediately after re-pairing, the sound is superb, but the microphone is a hit or miss. I'm not positive why yet and still attempting to figure it out. Wonderful bluetooth for the $$. It paired with my Samsung Eternity, my wife's Motorola Z8 cell telephone, my other Insignia bluetooth speakers, my Motorola H12 headset and my S805 BT DJ headphones right away. Lots of bluetooth going around here!! :)

This bluetooth dongle operates excellent! Plugged it in and it installed perfectly proper off the bat on my Win7 Ultimate 64bit OS. Bought it so I can use my bluetooth headset for Ventrilo, and it operates fairly well. Picks up just about every bluetooth device I have w/o a hitch. I adore the size too! Can barely even tell it's plugged in! Kinda afraid I could lose if I take it out of my USB slot even though b/c it's so smaller. Lol. I had to tweak my bluetooth headset a bit in the Control Panel b/c when I applied it, the mic picked up Anything! That may possibly be additional of an matter w/ my headset though additional than the bluetooth dongle itself. Maybe it functions as well very good? Haha. Want bluetooth compatibility on your computer system? Nicely this is the factor to get! Headsets, phones, mice, keyboards, it picks it all up and w/ no problems!

Works well out of the box, little. LED is extremely bright -- perhaps as well brilliant. I wanted a tiny Bluetooth dongle to permit me to connect it to my hub or notebook Computer without getting an annoying device sticking out of the side, asking to be broken off. This fits the bill nicely. It works fine with my cell telephone and other BT devices, and it installed in WinXP with minimal work. One particular complaint: The LED is exceptionally vibrant, and the flash rate varies from ӭ sec. when the Computer is in use, to two-3x per sec. when its been idle for a though. The fast rate, coupled with the brightness of the LED, tends to make for an annoying side distraction at instances.

Quite smaller. I under no circumstances have to take it out of the laptop. installs and function on its own. I have employed it on windows 7 and XP pro machines. Not a lot of a con unless u like to whine, but i did want to mention it has a extremely incredibly bright blue light. So tuck it away or unplug it if it is in the room your sleeping in. I was working with this to connect to two of my cell phones, connected it to numerous mice, and even had a PS3 controller connected to a Pc to be utilised for my emulators. i have had zero difficulties with thing due to the fact i purchased it. I would advise it to anybody.

It operates, what a lot more to want? I didn't install or try their BT software, just employing the drivers that are portion of XP and now Win7. Both connected to a BT mouse I got (loser mouse, but that's a different critique). It's "Enhanced Data Rata (EDR) 2.1 compliant for each 2Mbps and 3Mbps modulation modes", isn't that the newest and greatest BT spec? Nevertheless sticks out a small too far for my liking. Takes up a USB port. Wonderful little gizmotron and for the price....!!

Low profile, low price tag, very good item. Echoing what some other people have mentioned, I had to do some googling to figure out why I couldn't pair my telephone with the wifes laptop. Turned out to be a basic safety setting in the included software, would have been good to see it just be able to manage it out of the box. This was a darn great deal for what you get, although I would have difficulty recommending to close friends for worry I'd be spending a lot of time helping them set factors up.
