TinyWorks excellent in win7 and Ubuntu, no troubles. Won't survive being washed and then bent...it's a lengthy story... Stopped operating soon after having it about a year following I accidentally dropped my laptop onto it although plugged in, which bent it, and then a week later I put it by way of the washer and dryer...didn't operate right after that...so don't do that.

But yea I popped this small trooper into my Windows 7 ultimate machine for my Media Center and it works amazingly nice. Uncomplicated to use and pretty straight forward. None. I'm sure it works under Win0000, I guess?? does NOT function under Linux, no driver support located on internet internet site. No data. Verified not found by Red Had, Mandriva, does not work reliably under Gento If you are searching for Blutooth under Linux; appear at other devices and verify they have driver support for download on their page.

Picked up bluetooth devices correct away, two phones, mouse, headphones and another computer. Effortless connection. Other than taking up a USB port none Even although it takes up the 1 USB port, it is far more than properly worth it.

Small, cheep Computer software was a black hole. Could not connect to any of my Bluetooth products. When searching for a device, only a small choose few would show up, but the device could not connect to them. Purchased this to work with my Motorola Motorokr S305 headphones. Then decided to clear out the software program and attempt and use Window's. That was a superior move, but the device had quite limited capabilities and could nonetheless not connect. This is a fantastic, cheap bluetooth solution for my laptop. I necessary something to function with my headset for skype, and this functions great.No lag (even with Pandora) if you want to use it for entertainment speakers/headsets. Why I gave it 4 stars:The software program + drivers do not work with my headset. I have a Plantronics 925 Discovery - which is a common and extremely standard bluetooth headset. After hours of tinkering I lastly got some sound to generate by way of the headset microphone - high static, awful garbage. Nonetheless absolutely nothing to come into the headset speakers. Low-costDecent RangeTiny Profile none This is a good Bluetooth adapter but can be unreliable from quite long distances when stuff is among this and the mouse (or whatever else your working with). I'm using it on my property theater computer which is tucked away behind every little thing in my living room. When the pc sits out my mouse works good. when its tucked away like that, the performance can go down if you get truly far away ࿈+ft)

very tiny and low profile. works fantastic for adding a mostly permanent bluetooth connection to a netbook. quite bright flashing LED light that can not be turned off as far as I know. overall really good dongle for the cost. the LED can be a little annoying but straightforward to ignore once you get applied to the extra light on the machine. very recommend covering it up or removing it if sleeping in the exact same space with it active.

Effortless enough setup (popped in the setup CD then rebooted a couple of times).Only used with a mouse so far, don't know if I'll bother with streaming music or something like that.Blue LED Blue LED blinks at random, I really like blue LEDs but not when they randomly blink incessantly with no seemingly valid purpose or reason. I was thinking of modding my case with an external IR receiver so it's mounted flush internally with a modest circular opening letting the IR rays in. I will most likely move this bluetooth dongle inside the case as well because blinking inside my case won't be as bad as blinking behind it and illuminating an whole wall.

As you can see in the picture, this device is tiny. It is barely noticable sticking out from the USB port. I purchased it as a replacement for the Bluetooth dongle that came with my Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it works perfectly. I don't keep in mind if the Microsoft dongle came with software to install, but this one does and I don't care for the way the software program runs every time the laptop or computer begins up. It seems to be looking for new Bluetooth devices every time, but I would prefer to search manually if I want to add one thing.

Efficient, simple and readily understood by my machine, which runs on Windows 7. After installation of software program sends information to my telephone fine. (LG VU) Actually very modest. As in would fit on a U.S. Quarter so...be cautious where you set it. Also, refused to come out of the port so I am guessing if I ever did run short on ports I'd have to wrestle it out or get a pair of needlenose pliers so stick it in the back where you won't be continuously fiddling with it. These kind of devices seem normal and I picked the 1 that seemed like it would work with whatever I wanted. Be certain to install the disc it comes with or it extremely most likely will not recognize your cell phone.

works with w7-64.straightforward install.very easily paired with b/t headset to call utilizing G**gle voice. not like Ū like the other people I've tried, which didn't function. So I'm receiving into this voip factor so I can call my family in a different state easily and not have to upgrade my cell telephone plan.I go out and buy a b/t dongle for Ū which says it has built in drivers and works with w7.I plug it in, see it install drivers, no difficulties, but no way can I get b/t to see something at all. Not a phone, not any of my quite a few headsets, absolutely nothing.I spend three days loading stacks, attempting to get it to discover anything at all, nothing. Then I came across a post in some MS support thread that says forget all this and just buy this cirago. They had been having all the same difficulties I was, and the cirago was the fix.So I buy one, and specifically 15 minutes soon after I get it, I'm up and operating generating voip calls with my b/t headset.So, now I'm acquiring one more one.

Works natively in Windows 7 and OS X with no additional drivers or hassles.Fits in the hidden internal HP Mini 1000 USB port (the 1 reserved for some overpriced HP flash drive). N/A I bought this for my HP Mini 1000 netbook to give Snow Leopard bluetooth in order to tether my phone for web access. It was tiny sufficient to fit in a hidden internal USB port which was my program. I couldn't be happier with the dongle as it works flawlessly in each Windows 7 and OS X out of the box.

It connects but thats about it... I owned this for about four months. I bought it so I could use it for my Logitech Pro Media Keyboard with a built in touchpad mouse for my HTPC. At initial I believed it was the keyboard causing the difficulty. After replacing it Still the same jitter/ freezing / keyboard would just go dead and I would have to flick the energy switch on and off to get it to function once again! I then bought a new ASUS bluetooth dongle and now my issues as entirely gone. Not sure if it was a compatibility problem between my motherboard and the dongle or i just got a poor 1 or this is a bad item all together but if you have this setup in mind I would remain away from this item and go with the Asus brand dongle is about the same size to! Asus has once again never ever let me down. They make a trustworthy product! BOTTOM LINE =)

Quite small, Windows XP works nicely with it and just about every device I have test connects perfectly, except an old Verizon LG telephone. Very tiny. You much better make positive it is exactly where you want it.

tiny form factor, hides nicely in my 4-port USB TARDIS hub. works wonderful inside Windows 7. out of the three Bluetooth usb dongles I've owned this one has to be the simplest and fasted to set up. I had to fight with the other people to get them to work. not this one. plug-in, load up driver sand in a matter of sec. I was set up and prepared to go. I don't have more items to sync with it. Got to sync with my BlackBerry Bold 9000 (to use Blurts), my PLANTRONICS Over the Ear Bluetooth Headset (Voyager 510), and my Sony DR-BT101 Stereo Headset ( so my wife dose not kill me for staying up all night playing Star Trek On the internet - Life Time Subscriber)

Inexpensive. Little. Works. Bright blue light. Covered blue light with some blue electrical tape to dim it to an acceptable level. Subtracted 1 egg for having to do this.I use these little guys any time I want to add BT to a desktop.

Piece is modest. connection strength is terrific. This is little, but i wish it was tiny. the silver component of the plug still sticks out of the usb port of my laptop about an 1Ǟth of an inch before the plastic cover starts. Seriously, I wouldn't have listed any cons as far as the performance is concerned. Although windows 7 64 bit installed its own drivers and operated properly, The Toshiba stack driver was considerably simpler to manage and I suggest that you install it as cirago recommends.
