I wish it had some. It was DOA, I hooked it up, and no power..Nada..nothing. RMA'd and purchased a various brand. If you do come about to get one that functions (I'd think about I was one particular of the unlucky ones) If you program to use it in a complete size case, forget it , the cables barely in my HP media center case (mid ATX ?) Quiet, fired proper up with no posting problems, seems to run cool Modular cables are really short and would be difficult to use in a complete sized tower set up (I installed this in a mid-sized case). Incredibly couple of old style power plugs for IDE hard drives (I employed this in a secodary rig without SATA drives) Modular plugs don't positively "snap" into location so it is really hard to tell if they are seated adequately. The video card plug had to be stretched to attain my card and left definitely zero slack so the wires could be zip tied neatly out of the way of fans etc.. For the price, I guess I can't complain as well a lot and so far, the energy supply is functioning effectively... It just seems light on legacy plugs and WAY heavy on SATA power outlets. (probably my fault for not hunting closer at the specs) Manufacturer Response:Hello,This unit came in with extension cables. Quite Reasonably priced. It functions Plastic connectors to PS are quite brittle. Cables are a litte short I bought this PS to replace a failing one in an old P4 computer system. It operates just fine. Simple installation. The 20 rebate took about 3 months, but it came making the price tag around 50 dollars.

I can't appear to discover something very good about this energy supplie.Effectively, it is low-cost. Rather short cable.Rather tough to connect the cable to the power supply. Some cord is broken. If you gonna acquire a energy provide like this one, strongly suggest that you need to search for other. Manufacturer Response:Hello,This unit came in with extension cables. Plenty of power, excellent cost. A lot of ports and wires. The wires had been extended sufficient for my full tower. No instructions.

Plugged in and powered appropriate up. Fan is quiet. Cables are to short for a Rosewell R604-P Situation where the CPU is up. 2nd GPU power cable will not reach 2nd card. Sata cables to brief. Coolmax & Newegg websites do not make it clear exactly where/how to get longer / extension cables. Could be fine in a situation exactly where the cpu is down. Functions as advertised. Presently I am operating two overclocked 4850s in crossfire and and over clocked q6600 with no troubles at all. This powersupply stays considerably cooler (about 115f at the exaust) than my preceding thermaltake model (reached into the 160s f). The modular cables on this issue are nearly also brief in my mid tower situation. I would only recommend this powersupply to an individual with a bottom mount powersupply. Total tower situation owners need to stay clear of this one. The PS came with no documentation other than piece of paper with a internet adress. No screws no case badge no zip ties. Nothin. Not a massive gripe, I expected this with such an innexpenxive unit. Newegg's packaging for this order seemed a small light compared to what Ive observed from several other shippers in my years of retail solutions. 1 little peice of brown packing paper to guard two video cards and a power provide in the identical box seems insufficient to me. But if that is what keeps the rates down than I will have to deal with it. Newegg rocks. Dont forget it. Manufacturer Response:Hello,This unit came in with extension cables. Like this. Provides plenty of juice to my Geforce 9600 GT OC. And its modular. I purchased it for 70 bucks. who can beat that. Waiting for it to go down in value once again so I can choose up yet another for my other build. Case seems kinda low cost. Plugging in a handful of of the cords was a hassle. my suggestion is figure out what cords you require just before you install the PS and connect them first. But of program Great shipping.

Worked fantastic ... for 16 months soon after about 16-17 months, my desktop program shut itself down. I checked, and the PSU fan had stiffened up. I didn't have another PSU, so I pointed a 16" fan at the case. A week or two later, it shut down once again devoid of warning, and then all the capacitors in the PSU exploded, like firecrackers. I'm not the only one who has had this happen.

Love the modular cables. Extremely versitile. Excellent for highest air flow. Runs cool and quiet. This could be a "low-finish" PSU but is solid and trusted. Got this to replace my CoolMax 600W PSU that worked flawlessly for four years. The best PSU out there for the income! None. Modular cables could be a small shorter than my 600W but are still long enough for my Antec 900 case. I like that that the 24 pin connector on this PSU is not modular. The 24 pin connector on my 600W was modular and would sometimes come loose when I switched HD connectors.

Strong Construction, Pre-loomed Modular Energy cables, Lots of reliable energy on my new machine. Pretty economical (I caught it on sale for ์ cost-free shipping). Sata cables fit tight, this is good and negative. Excellent due to the fact they aren't loose, undesirable due to the fact they are a discomfort to plug in while the PSU is installed in the case. 6-Pin Cables are a small short. Not a challenge if making use of a single GPU (as I did) but I could see this becoming a issue for crossfire or SLi customers. Neither of these had been a dilemma for me but may be worth noting for customers that this could be a challenge for. Powers my machine without having fail through basic computing and hardcore gaming. machine specs: Gigabyte UD3 AM3 motherboard, Onboard Digital Audio, 4x2GB G.Skill DDR2 800, Phenom 9600 Black Edition, Sapphire HD 4870 512mb GPU, 500GB SATAII HD, 250GB SATAII HD, ASUS SATA DVD-RW, 3x120mm LED Case Fans, 1x92mm LED CPU Fan.

Cost. A single of the most affordable 700 Watt PSUs on the industry. Works. Adaquate simple PSU. Nothing at all fancy. Just basic electric energy. Ability to plug Molex pins strait into PSU is good. 4 or 8 pin CPU pin. 8 pin video card lines are brief. Extremely short. Barely reaches my 8800GTX VC and my case is little. (H 19/W 7/D 20). Appears to push out a excessive amount of hot air. Don't know if that is poor or if the PSU is producing a lot of heat. This is a bottom end PSU. Absolutely nothing flashy. I wouldn't suggest it for a overclocking or gaming system, but for a simple desktop it operates in a tiny case.

Looks goodQuiet It claims to be capable to source a total of 18ნნ = 50 amps on the 12V rail(s). This is a lie. Had a 295 GTX hooked up and a i7 860 machine. Worked at 1st, but a couple of hours into anxiety test, machine turned off. Plugged in a diagnostic tool and stated 12V rail was dead. Apparently there is only a single 12V supply (despite what the manual/packaging claims) and it can not reliably source 50A. I got it low-cost but you get what you pay for in this case.

Great, quiet PS and ran my PhenomII X4 & GTX260 quite effectively although it worked. 5 year warranty :~. It died soon after about 2 weeks short of a year of use. I had a video encode operating, and I heard a loud pop, the program instantly powered off and I smelled the magic smoke escaping.... I'm crossing my fingers and hoping the RMA won't take also extended to course of action. At least I have a backup psu to use along with my old video card in the meantime. Nothing at all at all. Okay, so I normally try not to critique and leave poor feedback on DOA things, but this power provide has been such a headache even if it hadn't been DOA. I'm undoubtedly returning it and receiving a different one. Initial off, the black surface on the outside wouldn't hold the stickers down, and they kept coming off on my hands, not a massive deal, I just took them off. Then the important headache, it didn't come with any PSU mounting screws, but at least my case did, but 3 of the four case screws had been the largest headache to even get began, I fairly considerably stripped all the PSU mounting screws just attempting to get the dang thing safe. Right after I got it in, and I was connecting the SATA power cord, I seen it was much too tight, I was afraid I might damage the drive at 1 point, but it finally went on. But the biggest disappointment was when I tried to turn it on, didn't get any energy to the motherboard at all, just a high pitched whine coming from someplace within the PSU. But it doesn't finish the Soon after discovering the PSU to be DOA, I tried to discover other people with similar troubles, but all the bad critiques on new egg were just DOA and that the cords had been as well brief, and I observed COOLMAX had told all these that complained about brief cords that there were supposed to be extension cords in the box: an outright lie, there are only the modular cables for GPU energy, SATA energy, and PATA energy. Subsequent I tried to get assistance off COOLMAX's internet site, which listed this CU-700B with slightly various specs and absolutely different picture that had a lot more modular spots on the PSU, and listed it with a 120mm fan and not a 135mm. For the life of me I couldn't find my model on their internet site and no troubleshooting section. The manual and faq were in broken english that frequently didn't make sense. DO NOT Purchase from COOLMAX unless you want a terrible headache, even if it does operate. Manufacturer Response:Hello,We apologize for the inconvenience. I have already notified our quality engineers to check the energy supply and labels.Need to you want to proceed to RMA of this unit, please contact assistance@coolmaxusa.com.Regards,Coolmax Assistance

Runs awesome cool. Can run my pc for 12+ hours with no noticable difference in heat output. Nothing at all I know of. Only consists of two connections for Sata devices. Not a deal breaker, given that connectors that convert one particular of the 4 pin cords to a Sata cord can be purchased, but something to look at.

Modular Cables are great. Tends to make nearly no noise. Superior 12v rail ratings. Exhaust is truly warm, even at low load. Concerningly warm. Might be from the other components inside the rig, though. I submitted my rebate a day late and they nonetheless honored it, which is quite good. No such luck from

*Worked, for a little although.*Made neat-seeking sparks. *Made my bedroom smell funny following it exploded. Had to open a window.*Woke up the other occupants of my apartment mid-explosion, and likely my downstairs neighbors as well.*Modular cables nigh impossible to connect devoid of destroying your fingertips.*Did I mention it exploded?*...less than a month immediately after I installed it?*Really, genuinely brief cables. Cables barely fit in a small Antec mini-tower case. So, image this: you sit down at your Computer at 4 AM, and make a decision you'd like to shoot some zombies in Left four Dead two. (I know they're not genuinely zombies, but, just stick to me right here for a minute.) So you fire up L4D2, join a server, grab a chainsaw and start off maiming the infected, when suddenly, your screen goes blank, sparks start off shooting out of the back of your power provide, total with loud explosion sounds and the distinct smell of burning electronics. If this sounds like your bag, really feel no cost to obtain this power supply. Otherwise, acquire anything that isn't garbage. Anything else....why can't I give anything zero eggs?

Modular design tends to make for less clutter in the case. 700watts is target for most single card rigs (and some entry level SLI/CRSFRE setups). Plenty of SATA and IDE connections. Low noise level (i can't hear the PSU--I can hear the case fans and Vid Card only). Price tag is fantastic. PSU isn't "oversized" and lined up in the case with no problems. Software package monitoring shows the PSU doesnt present heating complications. Quite stable therefore far.... PSU didn't come with mount screws (non do, nonetheless i didnt have spares on hand). Cables a a bit cheaply made but do the job. The connectors clicked correct in with zero problems; Connections are not loose at all. This would be a fantastic upgrade for any rig.

Offers additional than sufficient juice to my GTX 260. Modular. All cables are sheathed. Great and quiet. Fantastic cost. Cables could use to be about 1" longer. I had to rearrange my disk configuration to make this work proper, but otherwise no big complications. Modular plug placement on the back of the PSU interferes with the top exhaust fan in my case, cutting off one of the two SATA energy ports. Good unit overall.
