I had this given that May possibly. I am operating ƒ)BFG GTX 275, a Intel 930 overclocked to 4GHz, a total of 7 separate case fans, 2 DVD players, fan controller, neon case lights, 1 SSD, 1 tough drive, PCI express sound card, printer, and eight USB devices. This beast very easily takes care of it all with plenty of area to spare. I play games every day for hours and it hasn't failed me however. None so far. |

According to web site evaluations this is in fact a 1500W energy supply. It's only advetised at 1000W mainly because thats what the 80% garuntee covers |

Appears fantastic. Has sufficient cable for behind MOBO routing. Runs silently. This is the 2nd time I have to do an RMA. Very first a single worked about 4 hours, and died on me. I RMA'd with newegg. Then final evening, it died on me once more. This time its pass the 30 days for newegg's RMA so I have to RMA straight with Corsair. Honestly, the initial time may possibly be a fluke. I'm significantly less forgiving right after a 2nd time. I'm using numerous Corsair merchandise 齠D case, H70 cpu cooler, Dominator RAM) and this is the only 1 I have a challenge with. Dont get it. Manufacturer Response:We are really sorry you have had 2 consecutive difficulties. Please speak to our Client Support for your RMA at the link below. Cable lenght have been great for great cable management, specially if you have a case exactly where the psu mounts at the bottom and wires route behind motherboard. Also liked that you have the alternative of possessing two or four plugs on every wire, trigger i only necessary six sata power plugs not eight. started resetting unexpectedly on me following about four hours then at some point didn't turn back on at all, would attempt, shut down, try again, shut down, come on for a sec, shut down. had to put my old psu back in following all my meticulous cable routing! disappointed since i study in pc magazine that this was one of the best psu's to get, then the thing is defective and may possibly have damaged other parts of my computer. you should not get this psu. |

This is my initial review on NewEgg and I just had to comment after reading all the adverse reviews. I have had this power provide considering that December of 2008 and its been by way of anything I could throw at it. I had a OC'd Q6600 then a Q9550. Went from a 8800 GTX SLI, then three GTX 280 SLI, with up to 800+ Watts becoming drawn (read from my UPS) and not a single hiccup. My laptop was on 24ǝ for months and once again not a single difficulty. None. I have this power supply in my present build and have no reservations in recommending it as I went by means of 2 "name brand" power supplies ahead of obtaining this a single. |

Plenty of Power. Modular, 1st time making use of a modular PS. Wow, it is so clutter free of charge now. Packaging is excellent, comes with added cable storage case. Powerful amperage on two 12v rails. Quiet also. It's major and lengthy. 3 inches longer than regular power supplies. Barely match into my Antec P180 Complete tower. Powers my i7 965 & ATI 5750 just fine. Very encouraged. |

- Production outsourced to Computer Power & Cooling.- Extremely modular and comes with a pack containing the different cables.- Don't know what else to say. - Minor but probably good to mention: Corsair/PC Power might will need to take consideration when constructing the diverse modular cables. Now a days, I'm seeing PCs built with the PSU mounted to the bottom. This can affect particular cables when becoming attached to peripherals. For instance, if the PSU is mounted on the bottom of the case, it will affect the positioning of the sata power cables when connecting. PSU is still a beast general |

Awesome power supply that comes with almost everything you require to get up and operating. There are two cons. When of them Big!!!ş. Very first, their cable lengths run on the short side...Š. Because their cables run on the short side, DO NOT choose you can just use your existing module cables. Even if they fit. I did this thinking there would be no harm in it. It fit the plug perfectly, and appeared to be a simple plug and play. Then when I turned on the power it fried all the peripherals. And I do mean all of them. 3 tough drives, two optical drives, floppy drive, and a fan speed controller. So be warned. Use their cables ONLY as probabilities are pretty great that if you use yours, it will fry your stuff. It's not worth the danger.I build computers all the time, and wish I could say this was just some mistake I created... but I know with 100% certainty that making use of my own cables on this power supply is what brought on this dilemma.DO NOT USE YOUR Personal CABLES OR IT WILL DESTROY YOUR GEAR !!! All that being mentioned, now that I have new peripherals and a clean OS installed... this power supply is super quite and is way more juice than my 1GB GeForce 9800 GTX will ever require. |

Extremely quite. Stays cool even underneath load. Far more power than you'll want except for perhaps GTX480 tri-sli. Black with blue matches my rig. Cables are long. Didn't need the ATX energy extension that came with my full tower. Flat module cables. Rather substantial. Make positive you have room. This has been the power supply to get for a lengthy time. Yes, it's much more power than you require, but this keeps the psu cool and will last you a long time. |

More than sufficient wattage for a critical gaming rig. Looks fantastic in the situation. Modular. As a modular energy supply, I was hoping that all cables would be removable, but that isn't the situation. Not a big con, but I've got some extra unused cables floating about in my situation. I need to have read up on this before buying, but based on evaluations, I almost certainly would've ended up with this PSU anyways. |

Outstanding high quality inside and out. Specifications are extremely conservative. Only 1 - the flat peripheral cables. Certainly a cut above anything else in quality, workmanship, and functionality. My only dislike is the flat cables for video cards, drives, etc. Despite that it is now is my initial choice for energy supplies. |

I've had this issue for more than a year and I have never ever had a single problem with it. In reality, I've in no way had a single challenge with any of Corsairs goods. I am running three 250mm fans, two 120mm fans, a 125W AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, an ASUS M4A79T Deluxe board with 4 sticks of Corsair XMS3 DHX DDR3 RAM, a Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 2GB 512-bit GDDR5, 4 SATA 3 Western Digital Caviar Blacks, and a Cooler Master V10. That's a decent load, and this PSU doesn't break a sweat! The fan in this thing is super very too. It's a small much more than I would like to invest on a PSU, but it is nicely worth it! If you have a complete and a half tower like I do, you may well uncover some of the cables a bit brief. It's not truly a draw back simply because if I had a small situation, I wouldn't want to run ten foot cables... This thing is also a bit longer than a lot of other PSUs and it may well be a tight match in a tiny situation, so make sure you verify your dimensions...You may not will need 1000W of power, but it is greater to run 500W on a 1000W PSU than to run 500W on a 600W PSU. If your running at half the load, the PSU will last longer, carry out far better, give you far more choices for upgrades, and it will run cooler, which suggests you don't have to listen to a fan operating at complete speed!Go modular! It's a little much more income, but it seriously is worth it. You don't have to tie up a bunch of cables, you don't have to try and work around a massive nest of wires, and if your situation has side windows, you will want your cables to appear neat and tidy and modular is the only way to do it! |

The clips on all the plastic connectors feel strong, the wires are nicely wrapped in netting. The selection of modular cables is rather vast and you get a nice tiny bag to maintain them in. I am shocked by how quiet this factor is. The logo is printed on every single side in such a way that you can mount it with the fan facing up or down and have the logo correct side up, I believed it was a good touch. I had to RMA my 1st a single. 1 of the wire leads in one particular of the hardwired PCIe connectors was broken. As often Newegg did me ideal and set me up with a replacement rather speedily. Don't forget to peel off the film over the corsair logo in the middle of the fan shroud. This PSU also came with a Corsair sticker, thumb screws for mounting and a bag of black zip ties. This is the first modular power provide I have bough and it is awesome, this factor made wiring a dream, the only hardwired cables are the 20Ʋ mobo, 4Ʋ cpu, and two 6ư PCIe. |

Cables are lengthy adequate for E-ATX circumstances for cable management. Runs quite. Unit has two PCI-E Power connectors & 1 CPU Energy Connector that don't come from the rail. Only supports 1 CPU. I tested the PSU out of the box all tests passed. I connected it up to a Intel S5520SC board, PNY GTX 470, six fans, Xeon X5650. It would energy off in the middle of installing the OS. I tested the PSU once more and it was failing the ƳVSB and the workstation wouldn't energy. |

Tiny form-aspect, outstanding cable management, neat cloth bag to preserve unused cables. They color-code the male-to-female plugs (blue-to-blue and black-to-black). A color other than black would have been nice, as its incredibly tricky to see what you are undertaking inside the case, once its completely rigged. The technique is really quiet (fans, and so forth.) and doesn't run as hot as I expected, provided the quantity of power it pulls. |

Awaiting an RMA return from them, their internet site "had a dilemma with my RMA request" so it took me three days to get the RMA approved. Shipped it, they had it for three days with no response, known as right now to locate out the status, it was supposed to have been received Wednesday. Apparently it was nevertheless on their loading dock... Their e-mail they sent back (finally, saying it'd been received) mentioned to expect a five day turnaround AS Well as five days for shipping. I'm not shopping for their stuff once again. Operating a swing shift with an upcoming week off suggests I'll be with no the gaming Pc I just built for my downtime... |

Immediately after tech help told me my mobo was the problem, I returned the psu and purchased a Corsair HX-850. Now my method is a beast. My setup: Core i7-960, Asus Rampage three Extreme, Cooler Master Cosmos 1000, Coolermaster V-8, Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 6 GB, LG Black BluRay, WD Caviar Black 1 TB, Intel X-25 M 160 GB (boot drive), PNY Quadro FX-1800, Corsair HX-850, Koutech cardreader, NZXT usb hub (internal) Manufacturer Response:We are sorry your very first PSU did not work out and we hope that the HX850 is satisfactory. FYI, the HX1000 has 2 500w rails so it's probably that you basically had a defective unit. The splitting of the 2 rails would not trigger a appropriately working HX1000 to fail with X58 systems. |
