Supplies power to all of my high finish components without breaking a sweat. High excellent, heavy, and modular cables. Excellent for my requirements, helps cable management significantly. Um, costly, but worth it. Future proof, really should final for years.

This is pulling 650 watts from the plug and it is running very cool with an almost silent fan. It replace a 750 watt PSU which was always running hot. Definitely recommend this PSU.

looks nice... i guess lasted 5min then died.... On for a different minute then died once more.... voided my warranty since by means of new egg considering that i cut off the UPC code for rebate... could give a superior grade depending on corsair costumer service.

Had additional than sufficient cables for any require. The PSU lasted the total of 4 hours prior to malfunctioning. I just got this yesterday, put it into the Obsidian 800D, and it looked lovely. Installed windows7, all my drivers and played two games of Starcraft2. Operating excellent. When I hopped on youtube, my laptop or computer suddenely restarted. And from there on shuts down inside a couple of seconds of powering up. I swapped it out with my old Cooler Masters PSU and my Pc's running fine proper now.

The physical appearance of this power provide is top-notch. The sleeved cables looked good in my situation. There seems to be a top quality manage problem with the 1000HX power provide. I bought mine and place it into a new build in Aug 2010, and in Nov 2010 it began to cause bootup issues, as my Pc would begin the boot course of action, then restart two-three seconds into it. Then all of a sudden it blew a fuse in the circuit breaker in my house.The "paper clip" test (with the power supply detached from the Computer) determined that this energy provide was the problem on its personal.I sent it in to Corsair *at my expense* through their on the web RMA procedure, the outcomes of which have been excruciatingly slow. Runs quiet enough for me. Have by no means had a problem with it. Cabling could have been all sleeved, as an alternative of the major power ྴƲ) cable becoming the only one sleeved.

Corsair make some of the very best Supplies on the marketplace, period. The 5 year warranty is amazing, the style and create are prime notch as are the elements utilised. I have hammered Corsair supplies with load testing and employing an Oscope; these things stay solid and the power output is Quite stable It's just a little factor but I wish the cables had been just an inch or two longer. I have the FT02 situation from Silverstone and I tie all the calbes up and route them way out of the way. Keeps my processor good and cool by no means have to be concerned about it, as soon as i get the dimensions and the screws i will be running a push/pull method to further lower the temp but till then im positive it will be just fine n/a Operating a Phenom 6core 8 gigs of ram with an MSI mobo

Bought this power supply after reading the review from JonnyGuru, reviewed 4 years ago. Certainly not an electrical engineer so you have to take your chances with their words not knowing their qualification(s) or creditability. Don't know if Corsair made any improvement to the power supply over the past 4 years but at least they could have make the power supply to look like Seasonic X-series.

This psu is completly silent, my system is quite and I can't hear my psu even if I put my ear right next to it. More then enough connectors then anyone will ever need but as said before they are a tad bit short for perfect cable managment in my cas (haf 922). Overall a great product even though it's regular price might be a little steep, for what I paid it was a sweet deal.

Clean power that comes in immense amounts. Verified by the fantastic old multi meter. None. As with any power provide I knew there was a likelihood of receiving it dead or soon to be dead. But with the 5 year warranty from Corsair I had nothing to worry about. That is what truly sets this PSU far above other individuals in its class.

I have had this for going on 3 yrs now I actually really like it extremely a lot quite stable lots of cables to plug in and OO yes and only two rails. Some persons believe the more rails the greater. Not I would rather have a single rail. Next get will be a 1200w corsair single rail. I had an Antec 100w just before this a single it lasted a yr and popped loudly when it was operating and yes turned off it went negative proper then and there but it took my mainboard out also! Corsair high quality, performance, and reliability. Modular cabling with lots of cables offered in a wide variety of configurations that permit you to actually only use what you truly need to have. The flat profile of the modular cables aid in cable management particularly if you're running cables behind the mobo tray. Price is type of high compared to other high end 1000 watt energy supplies, but then again, at lease with Corsair, you really do get what you pay for. I would have preferred to have just 1 committed cable with a split connector for the P4/P8 mobo jack. This power provide provides committed cables for both a P4 and a P8 connection which are both very extended; a benefit in terms of reaching the mobo jack, but a true cable management pain for the a single you don't use. In all fairness, a splitting P4/P8 connector might not operate if your mobo's P4 jack is situated in a tight space and it would have only increased the price tag of this unit had they employed modular cables for this connection solution as an alternative.

Packaging is high top quality and worth keeping. PSU is nicely produced and has a very sleek and sturdy really feel to it, energy switch is robust and sturdy so is the power cord. Had no difficulties reaching the top of my HAF 932 for mobo eight pin and bay devices when PSU is bottom mounted. Good for cable management. Dual Rails actually let you distribute energy effectively to your components. None so far.

Great product for a good price its hard to beat. Would buy another if I needed the power. Cables are good quality and the modular cables are pretty handy and gives it a clean look.

I have been developing computers for years now, and this is 1 of my preferred supplies I have ever used. Modular is fantastic. Lots of energy for almost everything I have, 80 Plus is nice on a provide this major. I program on adding a second GTX 470 and setting up SLI and having both water cooled by CoolIt OMNI ALCs. and a SSD. This supply will very easily manage this. none however. Blue does not match my black/red/silver look, but I was able to get the sticker but in red and black and put that over the blue 1.
