Exactly where to start? Wonderful price\performance ratio, not as well loud, reputable, productive, and really aesthetically pleasing. This seriously is the pinnacle of design when it comes to PSU's. Got a single on twoቧብ to replace an old Apevia PSU that came with my situation, and this thing blew it out of the water. The only genuine con I have is that I bought this exact PSU two years ago and it was only บ much more than it is now. Want the price had come down a tad bit, but you do realkly get what you pay for, and this is a leading of the line PSU in the price range. I just ordered a second 1 for a new make mainly because with the knowledge I've had, I found it as well hard to get a PSU from any other corporation. If you really want to play it protected and protect your investment get this or any other Corsair PSU. They come with outstanding warranties and support, and shorting the cost on a PSU can result in frying your complete program.

Powers my DG965WH, evga 8800 GTS, 1 WD Caviar Black, 1 Asus dvd-writer, and a couple of 80mm fans. Hasn't failed me yet. The PSU fan doesn't make too a lot noise, in truth, I can\'t even hear it more than my 80mm fans and the Zalman 9500A's fan. The black finish with yellow text is FAB-U-LOUS!It is leading mounted in my situation and is straight right above my Zalman 9500A heatsink with .5 inch space involving the two. Even so, following hours of use, I feel my PSU and it doesn't really feel that warm. Not modular. I've got a smaller pc situation, so trying to hide all of those excess wires is an inconvenience. I'm a content camper with this child.

Lengthy cables fit great in my big case. Could energy my i7 860ʃ,80oc and my OLD gtx 275. Feels strong, looks great. Plain did what it was suppose to do, and WAS the quietest piece in my rig. Just upgraded to a single Evga GTX 570 OC. It runs it, except any system that can get higher fps(or carrying out f@h). Causes the psu to whine/whistle. I've read two separate evaluations on newegg with the similar card(roughly) and this psu doing this. Even if the gpu is causing it, it's doing it mainly with the tx650w. Do some googling and you will see too. I've had this for just shy of two years, an now I'm praying an rma will fix this.... I doubt it. Also my computer shut off entirely twice, no bsod, nothing at all. Make positive you have vdroop enabled or your going to have that happen though gaming. The only fix I know of is have vsync on. Except it makes the noise in other applications in addition to games also ie F@H.

Corsair is the frikkin shizznit!!! Just popped this badboy in my Dell Precision 390 workstation result in I needed much more energy to upgrade from a Nvidia GT 240 to hopefully a GTX 460 and quadcore Q6600 cpu soon. At initially, I believed it couldn't fit in this blasted Dell BTX case, but I WILL NOT BE DENIED!!! This PSU is Strong in weight, tends to make you really feel like you're inserting a pure gold brick into your process, and YOU ARE!! I'm glad I held my ground and got this rather of some low excellent PSU. As of a handful of days ago, Newegg pimpslapped me for ๟ for this (๋ when I send in the rebate!) and got it to me in three days!Moral of the story youngsters......Buy THIS WITH NO HESITATION!!! Cons and Corsair shouldn't be mentioned in the exact same sentence...oops, I just did it :) But there will be a con if I uncover out that peeps will get this for much less than ๟! Peeps who have a modest to mid sized case.....BEWARE!!! The wires with this badboy are LOOONNNGGG!!! The inside of my case is a little cramped now with this factor. But it has enough fans to hold it cool.My system specs (DONT LAUGH!!):Dell Precision 390OS: Dualbooting: Ubuntu ten.10 (LINUX SON!!) & Winblows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU: 2.13ghz C2DRAM: 4gigs generic (upgrading to some G.Skillz soon)Vidcard: Nvidia GT 240 (GTX 460 right here I come! )PSU: Corsair 650W SON!!!!!

It provides stable energy on a single rail. I filled out their rebate perfectly, as I have with other rebates. Although I've received other rebates currently, CORSAIR has NOT sent me something and it's been 4 months! This is my initially rebate I have not received ever and I'm slightly peeved at Corsair I really should have waited, Newegg threw it on sale for less than it was with a rebate... only weeks immediately after I already produced the obtain

Good high quality product, robust. Good packaging. The cables are extremely long, and there is no way to remove the ones you don't want - you finish up with a bunch of cables in your case that only gather dust. Would like to return this in favor of a distinct solution. Gave it two stars mainly because the good quality is great, but the value vs the final outcome is also high. Clean, efficient power. Rock solid PSU. Not modular. I discovered the cables to be a bit to lengthy for my standad ATX case. I wish it was modular, rather than stuffing all these extra cables in my drive bays!

Power Provide works excellent.... the Corsair rebate stinks!!! They send an e-mail telling you have qualified and then two months later they say you didn't send a sales receipt. My sales receipt was a copy of the NEWEGG invoice. That's all I had. Under no circumstances again with Corsair

This PSU is a monster. Operating i7 2600k @ four.5ghz, H70, two SSD raid , one 1TB WD green, and two MSI GOLDEN GTX470 SLI @ 800Ƒ.000v) and no complaints.Super quiet even beneath load. Playing BFBC2 for eight hours straight and no hiccups. A lot of cables but this is obviously offered for a non-modular PSU. I was kind of skeptical when I added the 2nd GPU considering I am going to overlocked them at SLI efficiency but this PSU didn't even blinked.

Powers my existing program:AMD Phenom II x6 1090tGTX 570G.Skill 8GB ƒ x 4gb 1333)revodrive ssd pci-e I have read reports of Corsair PSU obtaining this situation, THE POWER Provide Offers OFF HIGH FREQUENCY SQUEEL THAT'S Extremely QUIET BUT WILL GIVE YOU MIGRANE! The psu at first I thought had a negative fan, but it literally has a high frequency squeel that you can barely hear but I'm confident it does damage mentally. I had a migrane the 1st week I got my pc, at very first believed it was my monitor but located out my psu was generating a insanely irritating noise. There are other reports on the net about this and that's one particular way I located out its my PSU making the noise. I wouldn't purchase another corsair psu because of all the folks that have complained about the noise issues and so on.. I am on the Computer 6+ hours per day and this noise is unbearable. I hate paying for shipping on RMA and I may possibly just swap this with my old stealthXtreme OCZ 700w psu from my living room pc. Corsair you want to find out why your psu's make a squealing noise and locate out fast because I believe lots of folks are acquiring brain damage from it.

lots of power connectors ... lengthy cable length even in a significant case ... requires care of power requires even with Crossfire program, ten cooling fans and a number of tough drives My Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 cards calls for two power connectors every, it would have been good if power supply had 4 connectors rather of just two. The video cards did come with adapters though Extremely high quality item

Excellent rock solid power. Quiet. Nice gun metal finish. I'm a little disapointed, it is clearly marked SLI ready compatible with i7, so you would think it's accurate.I am an enthusiast but I never would have believed I would want SLI, I have a 460 GTX and it runs almost everything.Nicely right here comes Crysis 2 demo and it's entertaining as he77, I'm spoiling myself this year and I got a 23" 1080 monitor.I want to run Crysis complete out @ 1080, this will call for an upgrade. I just got the 460 grr. I appear at this "SLI ready power provide and WHAT?? It only has two PCI-E connectors not the 4 required to SLI.Choices decisions, lose dollars on fleaby on my new powers provide to upgrade, or lose cash on my 460 GTX on flebay to upgrade the card. I guess I really should xfire. This is a excellent obtain for most users just be conscious, xfire ready and old sli ready.

Greatest packaging Ive ever got from a PSU, feels and looks like high quality, all the wiring and far more some than I required. Running excellent so far. Makes you really feel like you spent your cash properly. Loved the thought of the bag (like a bottle of crown royal), but could use some greater material :P (I truly use the bag now for loose personal computer parts when undertaking repairs for buddies/family) really should have come with some no cost ram sticks :P
