A lot of leads, solid top quality create, nice bag, lol. I personal 3 of these and just had to return my newest 1 becuase of loud coil whine. Appears to be a issue not just with Corsiar but with other brands as effectively. None of the so referred to as "fixes" for the whine difficulty helped. If you get a screamer, just send it back.

Newegg's descripton begins with, "Okay, it's a power provide. Not significantly excitement there...". Nicely, that's usually the situation, but when I opened the box, i actually WAS excited. Outstanding packing - high grade urethane foam; take that out and - what's this? A black velvet draw-string bag! You'd have thought I just opened a 100 year old bottle of imported single malt! The PSU itself is a really desirable slate grey/matte black finish.Connectors are plentiful and lengthy adequate to reach the bottom of my full tower. The fan is very quiet, even underneath moderate-to-heavy load. This is the very first power supply i've NOT had to wrap the cables in braid - these are all pre-wrapped in a heavy-duty nylon variety mesh. It even came with its own plastic zip-ties to get the cables bundled and out of the way in the situation. None whatsoever. Okay, so the draw-string bag has absolutely nothing to do with the unit's functionality, but now I have a spot to store all these marbles I had when I was a kid.

Great power provide! A lot of readily available plugs. No four plug to a CPU Could not locate everyone that had an 8 pin plug into a 4pin receptor for the CPU.

Solid power provide, long cables, high amp output.Clean, solid power. The fan gets a bit noisy following about a year, regardless of continual cleaning. It tends to make a high pitched whine, in particular when undertaking something associated to my video card, an EVGA GTX 260 Core 216. The high pitched whine drives me nuts. I wouldn't purchase this PSU once more.

Incredibly quiet, keeps cool, and runs anything I have. Failed on me after about a week, so I stuck my old psu back in, about a week later I tried again and it's worked considering that then (about four months ago)

A lot of connectors, wrapped, ample length and a strong top quality PSU.Don't waste your cash on a less expensive model albeit some of the less costly brands would function Ok. Point is that's a gamble. Corsair means high quality. Quiet.Cool.Lots of connectors.Extended cables. Some sort of white rubbery stuff on the cables.Similar stuff you see coating some elements inside the energy supply.Bottom left corner of the casing was indented on the side exactly where you screw it in to the Pc case. Had to put a screw in halfway and lever on it to pull the side out far enough so I could reach it with a screw from the outside of the Computer situation.LOTS of connectors.Lengthy cables.Doesn't come with a releasable zip tie the way the V2 unit does.No tape sealed inner box to detect returned units like the V2 unit. Really my second purchase of this distinct model. Is that genuinely only a 120mm fan in this?I had two of the V2 units and the fans don't appear any larger, and these are 140mm.

This is truely a quality product. Built to last, it's massive, heavy and super quiet. When I fired up the comp for the 1st time, the fan was SO quiet I had to double check to make confident the fan was working. Fantastic PSU, and it's a corsair, which comes in a black velvet bag. As mentioned below, the quantity of cables were a bit a lot, but extremely minor The sheer quantity of cables is a bit out of manage. Comes with a combined eight pin plug, which if you have a 4 pin, you'll require to split them.

Great excellent, has every little thing you want, overall just no complaints whatsoever. I was also genuinely surprised how quiet it was. I paid a bit additional for Corsair than some other units, but I really feel it was well worth it. Difficult to be confident in a energy provide, but this one carries it. Comes with straps, ties, and every little thing you will need. None thus far.

Looked nice DOA ~ got it with a Graphics card, can't use it cuz it's dead. Effectively, at least it worked for about 2 minutes. Literally. Hopefully Newegg replaces this, cuz it doesn't work. Merely put. Manufacturer Response:We are really sorry your PSU failed in this manner. You may also RMA directly with Corsair if you need to.External Link(s): Corsair Contact Page|

Has a multitude of Molex and SATA connectors. This is an oversized unit, not the similar dimensions as the typical power supply. Make certain you have enough room in your chassis prior to purchasing this - I've tried it in two unique ATX mid-size circumstances, and couldn't use it. Also really heavy, so make sure you have enough assistance for a top mount, a bottom mount is prefereable. Yet another con is that the 12-volt ATX connector is 8-pin, so if you have a M/B with a four-pin connection, it may not fit if the M/B has other protrusions about the socket (resistors, and so on.) There are other normal size units in this wattage range, suggest checking those out instead.

Have had it for nearly a year and never ever had a single hiccup. Effortless to install and looks fantastic. The wires are fairly bulky. I really should have gone modular, but that's not a reason to take away an egg. Just something to look out for if space is restricted. Will likely get a modular psu to replace this a single, but undoubtedly sticking with Corsair. Wonderful brand, great product.

I was able to get a fantastic deal on this for my new build and I'm not disappointed with the product. The packaging was good and surprising as I didn't anticipate the PSU to come in a velvet bag. It's a good touch to reflect on the excellent of the actual product. It runs quite well and delivers the overall performance I want. Not a fan of all the cables, but that's not Corsair's fault.
