Booted very first energy-on devoid of a issue, and detected my RAM's XMP profiles instantly. The on-board LED display is remarkable, and even tells you your CPU's temperature when not showing error codes! Lots of slots for expansion, and fits each component quickly. Great value as well! Just a nit-choose, but the I/O shield comes with a foam pad on the motherboard-side of it that looks like it is for cushioning the motherboard against it. It has holes in the foam for the corresponding ports and every thing. In practice, even so, this gets in the way and have to be removed. My motherboard would not seat in the computer system case when pressed up against this foam pad before I removed it. Comparing price, expandability, overall performance, and overall function, you would be hard pressed to find a much better deal on a performance motherboard. |

All technical specs aside, this board is tremendously sexy. I adore the onboard temp monitor given that this sits to the appropriate of me on my desk I can peak correct in. It overclocks properly, and is loaded with great characteristics such as the external cmos reset button on the back. (As an overclocker I can't even begin to tell you how substantially I appreciate this feature). It didn't make me a sammich when I told it to! Fantastic motherboard, and not to milk a dead cow right here but EVGA is 1 of, if not the very best computer elements businesses going. The step up program, the support, the software program they consist of, every thing is just best of the line and I can not say adequate very good items about them. |

Effortless to install. I read the critiques that stated that more of a manual is necessary, and EVGA has it on their website. I have not updated the bios and have not even loaded the drivers that came with the board, Win7 handles and finds every little thing necessary. I built the method, loaded Windows and was off and operating in no time! XMP memory is automatically set by the bios..... Painless! Excellent value for the efficiency. From what I read here, and in EVGA's web-site there are concerns with the bios upgrades. The technique boots, shuts down, then boots and that's totally regular and genuinely a minor problem as I dont boot my technique 20 time a day Antec 900 CaseEVGA P55 SLIEVGA 9800GTXIntel core i5 750OCZ XMP OCZ3X1600LV6GKWD 640 Black WD6401AALSSony SATA DVD DriveWin7 Ultimate |

This board is look great. Its fast and trustworthy. Was really uncomplicated to install in my Antec 900 case. There is a lot of space between the CPU heatsink and RAM DIMMS. This is especualy very good when operating aftermarket cooling (im running TT Spin Q). A good board for the price. TONS of USB slots, 2x ethernet ports. keeps CPU operating cool, mine idles at 27c in a space thats at least 85 degrees F all day.-Tech assistance is great! Make confident you contact or go on the web and register so you can get speedy tech help service from Evga.-havent been in a position to OC yet, but even at stock speed, this board makes my i3-540 Scream!-The LED connectors are labeled on the board for easy connection for power, reset and HDD LED buttons.-Uncomplicated access CMOS, POWER, and RESET buttons positioned on board. This came in handy for me. -Wont boot with iPod plugged in (bios update may well fix this)-desires bios update to run intel i3 processors properly-overclocking is complex on this board. I Nonetheless havent gotten a stable OC immediately after two weeks.-The instruction manual sucks.-if you're operating dual video cards, the PCI-E slots sit right on top rated of eachother. Your best card will run hotter than standard mainly because it cant breath, due to the bottom card getting so close to it.-Will not let my memory run at 1600Mhz with out OC. Defaults to 1333Mhz.+ I took an Egg away simply because of the hassle i had attempting to get it to boot into windows. In order to load windows i had to reset CMOS everytime i shut it down. The power button would turn it on, and it would shut down seconds later and would not turn back on devoid of reseting CMOS. This was due to the lack of assistance for i3 CPUs on stock bios. Flash to newest bios update fixed this concern. Quite good board. I've generally been pleased with EVGA items. In no way had any complications with them, and if i did, their tech help is remarkable. My System:Antec Nine Hundred CaseIntel i3-540 CPU 3.06Ghz (TT Spin Q cooling)Evga P55 SLI Motherboard4GB DDR3-1600 G-Skill RIPJAWS RAM2 BFG Nvidia Geforce GTX 260's SLI320GB WD SATA HDD - 3DMark vantage (performace) - 18,210 -This outscored my OC'd 3.2Ghz Q6600 Quad Core by 700 points With identical Hardware. |

Seemed to operate properly at 1st 3 months into owning I began to get intermittent troubles, but every little thing usually recovered and was constantly fine. 6 months in it got worse, and inside a week I could no longer get past the "Welcome" screen at login. Try to RMA EVGA card, they tell me it's not the card and to check memory. Lo and behold, my memory, *which tests fantastic in other computers*, is testing bad. Also looked up my bios beep code, and it is telling me it's a DRAM refresh error. Try to RMA board, and they tell me that it's the card. Card would not cause memory troubles. I tell them this, they tell me to check memory settings. When I tell them I have carried out this, they tell me it is the card once more. This goes back and forth a couple times. I am by no means purchasing any EVGA product once more, this is ridiculous. My board also does the "dual boot" factor, where it starts, and then quickly reboots. Always booted on the second time. I bought EVGA's "superclocked" card, so perhaps overclocking is what is causing this. Manufacturer Response:Hi,The double boot is normal and can be disabled from inside the BIOS (make positive you are on the most up-to-date BIOS 1st)Thanks,Jacob |

This board had most of the features I wanted without having too high a price tag tag. I was a bit skeptical about buying a MoBo with the EVGA name on it but this appears to be a fairly solid offering. A lot of case fan ports on the board also so didn't have to resort to molex power. Power/reset/clear cmos buttons on the board and CPU temp indicator too. One point to look out for is the I/O shield not getting all the metal knock outs removed. I popped it in without having looking at it closely and got the MoBo in and started assembling just before I realized this. Had to disasseble and get rid of the board to get the darn things out. Which expense me about 20 minutes. Blinking red EVGA logo on the board is intriguing. |

It's my initial motherboard so I genuinely can't compare it to something, but I had no significant issues and I am quite happy with my acquire. The back plate didn't have all the holes punched out and I only noticed it right after plugging anything in. Much more my fault than something. The documentation that came with it was pretty lame. Thankfully, I have the internet so it didn't truly influence the create. My ram (g skill 4GBRL) wasn't listed as compatible on the motherboards website, but it was on the ram's. It's presently running slower than listed, 1333 instead of 1600. The xmp profile does raise it, but causes the machine not to boot. I'll solve that problem later. That's also far more my fault than evga's. |

Quite amazing motherboard. Plenty expansion slots to fit my need to have and fairly easy to install. LEDs on the board appear actually good inside my Centurion five case. CPU heat LED is awesome to measure temps in the course of peak performance. The installation guide. I know this has been address a couple of times by EVGA themselves, but I believe it needs mentioned again. This was my initial construct, and I tried to install the board straight to the case without the use of the brass screws. NO Where did it state that it had to sit above the actual case. Granted, this could be a difficulty with the case's guide, but the guide for this board is so basic. Just a few photos and some descriptions. Despite the negative guide, I'm nonetheless giving this 5 eggs. Don't be turned off by that, it's nonetheless worth the dollars if you're searching for a excellent 1156 motherboard. |

None I purchased four EVGA motherboards, and 8 EVGA graphic cards. All top of the line at the time. 1 motherboard, and four graphic cards have burned out on me in just more than a year. No overclocking was done. Their return center lost 1 of the cards I sent in with authorization for a replacement, then told me that if I couldn't prove that they had it, it would not be replaced. I will never ever again obtain another EVGA item. I would also recommend to other people to steer clear of this name brand. The installation was incredibly straightforward, plugged every thing in, turned on the machine, it went by means of POST and it was smooth sailing from there. The illuminated "E" on the motherboard is a good touch as nicely; its noticeable, but not annoying. I particularly love the Indicator on the motherboard that shows the double digit codes. It makes trouble shooting a hell of a lot less difficult-- good thing I didn't want to use it. What's even a lot more fantastic is that once the Pc is booted and running, the number shown on the display is the CPU temperature. I have a case with a side window so its really handy to be able to see the temperature of the CPU at a glance in no time-- this tool is specially helpful for overclockers who want to keep an eye on their temps at all occasions. The motherboards PWRLED pin connector has 2 pins, even though my case connector for the PWRLED had a three-pin connector (the middle 1 was empty). No dilemma, I just moved the cable on the case connector over to the middle 1 and produced the empty connector hang of the side. This was no critical problem though, I shouldn't even be mentioning it. My develop:G. The motherboard looks good and has a solid list of attributes. I did not use the SLI or PhysX but so I can\'t comment on the effectiveness of these capabilities. The quickstart guide was quite helpful. When I very first installed all of my components and turned it on it did a "dual boot." Basically the board initializes for about two-three seconds and turns off; about a second later, the board re-initializes and turns on as usual. As far as I could tell this board does that when overclocking features are employed. I'm not confident why it takes place but its only a minor nuisance for me. The board has a built in speaker which beeps a couple occasions depending on how many usb components you have plugged in. My setup had 3 beeps for 2 internal headers and 1 wireless kb/mouse. I'm guessing theres a possibility of considerably a lot more than three beeps. That I have not yet tested. |

I installed the CPU in a P55 motherboard with no difficulties. It runs cool in my case. I actually like the function that lets the CPU run slower when I am not operating any demanding programs and then quicker when I make a decision to run some graphic intense applications. I am a medium level gamer, so this CPU is handling everthing I want it to do with no troubles, extremely pleased so far. None as of however. Also Newegg and UPS rock when it came to processing and shipping my order! I ordered all the parts for my new construct at once. I chose 3 day ground by UPS. I live in a rural community in Nevada and am utilized to lengthy waits. From the time I placed my order it took a tiny less than 48 hrs for almost everything to arrive on my doorstep and that was during the snowstorms of last week!
