by far the greatest board I've had Installed with ease and the quantity of fan ports and all of the other goodies make this board well worth the income! Get Acquire Acquire! Incredibly overclockable! The only con i have is that i still haven't recieved my rebate but don't let the rebate ward you off from this excelent board! Motherboard : Evga X58 Ftw3Processor: Intel i7 950 three. OC'ed to 4gig no dilemma!Cpu cooler: Thermaltake frio (another should!) properly worth the income!Memory: 2 4gig Gskill 12,800 ddr3V-card: inno3d Gtx 260Sound card: Sound Blaster XFI Elite Pro 7.1 surround.

Fairly uncomplicated to install, decent BIOS, fits practically every thing I wanted to attach to it nicely. Couple of things here: 1. The on-board sound on this board is fairly poor. I kept hearing popping noises from the sound at random intervals. Possibly it was just my board, maybe it comes like this with all of them. I referred to as EVGA, they had me check to see if it was the motherboard or not, and determined it definitely was. In all honesty although, it's not some thing I'm going to tear my rig apart for and RMA it over, due to the fact I just went and picked up a SoundBlaster Titanium anyway.Second: also dealing with Audio. The connector pins for the front Audio inputs are situated directly over the PCI slot. I have a PCI wireless adapter, and it's impossible to connect the audio cable in this placement.Third: Finding the motherboard to fit properly on the IO panel was a nightmare. Overall this has been a wonderful board so far, I haven't tried any over-clocking yet, but I'm going to see how effectively the utility that came with it works soon.

fantastic board for non existant usb three. devices no esata...? why is there a obsolete firewire port however no esata?

Nice looking board. DOA. Poor response time from EVGA on a paid second day advanced RMA. I tried to be patient. Also, as other people have noted, The IO panel did not line up at all in my Coolermaster Sniper case. Immediately after not hearing any reply for a couple of days on the advanced RMA(I originally paid overnight freight on this board), I returned it to newegg for refund and purchased the Rampage Formula. This board rocks! I typically don't mention one more brand in a review of a product but the service from EVGA price me a restock fee and another overnight freight fee. In their defense although, I use EVGA video cards exclusively.

So far so good , 16x/16x PCIE 2.0 , Usb 3 , sata 3 , Run pretty much cool. Triple chan Memory, up to 24gb.The only thing that is bad ; The usb , fans and Audio headers are really misplaced on the motherboard.When you use dual card setup , The second card push on the audio header since its right below the card. Still doable.Overall the board is really good and can hold a beastly Processor.
